Chapter 306 Dorian Had a Mental Breakdown

The sudden loud bang freaked out Leopold and the others, especially Dorian, who was the biggest scaredy-cat. He jumped up like a cat on a hot tin roof.

Only James knew what was up. He just chilled on the couch, watching the drama unfold.

Five people barged in, looking like they meant business—four dudes and one chick. The chick had clearly been through the wringer: hair all messed up, blood on her lips, and eyes swollen from crying. She looked scared out of her mind.

One of the dudes, covered in tats and looking like he just walked out of a prison yard, was in his thirties and mad as hell. The other three were younger, maybe in their twenties, but built like linebackers and just as intimidating.

Dorian, who had been all cocky earlier, was now shaking like a leaf. His face was white as a sheet, and he could barely stand.

Leopold and Eirian were also scared stiff, their faces showing pure terror as they backed away.

Leopold, trying to play the tough guy, stepped up and demanded, "Who the hell are you? Why'd you kick my door in?"

He tried to look angry, but when the scary dude glared at him, he practically wet himself.

Leopold was just a regular guy, not cut out for this kind of confrontation. These intruders were way scarier than the gang they had run into earlier, which was why Leopold was so quick to lose his nerve.

James stayed put on the couch, not because he wanted to show off, but to let Dorian learn a hard lesson. It was also his way of paying back Leopold and Eirian.

He quickly pieced it together. These guys were here for payback on Dorian. It was obvious Dorian had messed with this guy's girlfriend and got caught. Anyone would be pissed about that. If the guy had a shorter fuse, Dorian might've been dead meat.

Dorian was always stirring up trouble. He was a pretty boy with no real skills, yet he had the nerve to mess with a married woman. And just by looking at this angry dude, anyonecould tell he wasn't someone to mess with.

"Elijah, it's not my fault. Dorian, that scumbag, raped me while I was asleep and took photos. I had no choice but to do something against you, Elijah. I've always loved you. If it weren't for Dorian's threats, how could I have slept with him?" The young, pretty woman came in, pointing fingers at Dorian, crying her eyes out, looking all pitiful.

Dorian, realizing what was going down, lost it and pointed back at her, yelling, "Bella, you lying bitch! You were the one who came on to me, and now you're trying to pin it on me!"

At that moment, the guy named Elijah said, "Well, Dorian, so you're admitting you hooked up with Bella? I didn't think you'd have the guts, but now it looks like you really did. You've got some nerve!"

Elijah said this with narrowed eyes, his voice icy and dripping with rage. It was enough to make anyone's blood run cold.

Dorian was shaking like a leaf. "It's all a big misunderstanding, Elijah. I wouldn't dare mess with your girl! I only hooked up with Bella once. I respect you, man. How could I do you dirty like that? Besides, it was Bella who came onto me. It's got nothing to do with me, Elijah."

Dorian was scared out of his mind.

James looked at him with even more contempt. This guy was all talk in front of his parents but turned into a total wimp when faced with someone tougher. What a disgrace!

Leopold and Eirian, such decent folks, having a son like Dorian was just tragic.

But thinking about it, Dorian turning out this way wasn't entirely on him. Leopold and Eirian had spoiled him rotten. If James were the parent, Dorian would've gotten his butt kicked countless times!

Bella, hearing Dorian's words, freaked out. She started arguing with him, desperately trying to shift the blame because she knew Elijah's temper. If she didn't, she was toast.

Leopold and Eirian finally got the picture and were fuming, especially Eirian. Her illness made her so mad she could barely breathe, her brain was starved of oxygen, and she was about to pass out. James saw this and quickly got up to support her, pressing her into a chair and massaging her to calm her down.

"Eirian, you need to stay calm. Getting worked up isn't good for you," James gently said.

Eirian, tears streaming down her face, muttered, "I've never done anything bad in my life. How did I end up with such a worthless son!"

Leopold came over to support her, equally heartbroken, letting out a long sigh. In the past two years since they moved out, they had hoped Dorian would change, but he only got worse. He didn't work, was irresponsible, caused all sorts of trouble, and kept asking for money. Their life savings were all gone because of him.

Now he even messed around with someone else's woman, causing this huge mess. It was infuriating!

James also sighed and said, "Leopold, Eirian, you spoiled Dorian too much. This can't go on."

Hearing James's words, they realized it too, their faces full of regret.

Elijah, burning with anger, was done listening to their bickering and shouted, "Enough!"

He glared at Dorian and said, "Dorian, you've got some nerve. You dared to sleep with the woman I like, completely disrespecting me. This time, I'm definitely going to kill you!"

He then called his three guys to hold Dorian down.

Dorian immediately had a meltdown, dropping to his knees in front of Elijah, crying and begging, "Elijah, I was wrong. I was really wrong. Please give me a chance. I'll do anything for you."
