Jennifer was taken aback and said, "Really? How did you figure it out?"
James replied, "Those three patients just now were faking it. They weren't sick at all, and their pale faces were due to makeup."

James said, "To play along and see who he's working with."
Jennifer was very smart and immediately understood what James meant. "He refused just now. Could he have realized that we saw through his scheme?"
