Chapter 51: Unconventional Treatment Methods
Harmony widened her eyes in surprise as she looked at him.
Indeed, she recognized him. James greeted her generously, "Ms. Brown, long time no see."
This surprised the entire Brown family, with Michael curiously asking, "You two know each other?"
James nodded and said, "Ms. Brown is my wife's college classmate. We have met a few times."
However, he didn't mention the rest. During those few encounters, both he and Harmony were not very pleased.
The reason was quite dramatic. Once, he accidentally bumped into Harmony while accompanying Jennifer to a class reunion and even touched her chest. Since then, Harmony had harbored a great deal of animosity towards him. Moreover, Harmony had heard Jennifer complain about him, thinking he was lazy and incompetent, living off his wife, and shamelessly flirting with women despite being married.
Harmony furrowed her brow and said with a strange expression, "The miraculous doctor Dr. Smith you mentioned is him?"
"Yes! Don't judge Dr. Smith’s competence by his age; he is highly skilled. It was Dr. Smith who cured Dad's illness," Michael said. "Sis, you just heard what Dr. Smith said. As long as you cooperate with his treatment, he can definitely cure you. Since you know Dr. Smith, that’s even better."
However, Harmony was not pleased. Instead, her expression turned cold, and she sneered, "If he's a miracle doctor, then I must be a fairy!"
Michael immediately frowned and said sternly, "Nonsense! Dr. Smith's medical skills are truly remarkable. If it weren't for Dr. Smith, our father wouldn't be standing here."
Todd also frowned and asked, "Young lady, do you have any misunderstandings with Dr. Smith?"
"Misunderstanding?" Harmony looked at everyone's expressions and suddenly realized, "It seems that none of you know his true background, right? He, James Smith, is the husband of my college classmate, a son-in-law who has been living off his wife for five years, lazy and unable to find a job. Harmony's impression of James was extremely negative! She thought that a man could lack skills, but he couldn't lack ambition. James not only lacked ambition but also enjoyed freeloading off his wife and fooling around behind Jennifer's back, which she despised the most.
If it weren't for the kindness of Michael and Todd towards him, James would have left immediately. Now, Harmony's condition was indeed very serious. If not treated promptly, by dawn, she will undoubtedly die.
He took a deep breath and calmly said, "Ms. Harmony, I know you have a big misunderstanding about me. Here, I want to explain responsibly that the incident was not intentional. With that, she walked out of the room.
"Wait a moment," James said with a somewhat awkward expression, "Ms. Harmony, my treatment method is a bit special. I hope you are mentally prepared."
"Hmm?" Harmony asked in confusion, "What special method?"
James looked at Michael, feeling embarrassed to say it himself. Michael coughed twice, looking uneasy, and he hesitated. "Well... that... the treatment method... Dad, why don't you explain it to Harmony."
Todd was also a bit embarrassed, but leaned in to whisper to Harmony's ear and told her about this special method.
Upon hearing it, Harmony's face immediately changed. "James, you are indeed a pervert! This is outrageous, I must tell Jennifer!"
James knew she would react this way. Fortunately, over the years, he had grown accustomed to being misunderstood and really didn’t care about others' words. He sighed, turned to Michael and Todd, and said, "This is the only method. Whether or not to proceed, it's up to you."
To be honest, if it weren't for Michael and Todd, he really wouldn't want to treat Harmony. Because if Harmony really told Jennifer, he would be in big trouble.
Just then, Virgil the butler walked up the stairs with a somewhat grim expression, "Sir, the Perry family has arrived."

Michael sensed something was wrong and said, "Virgil, you can speak freely."

Harmony looked at the contents of the letter, the signature at the end belonging to her fiancé, Jared Perry.

Virgil hesitated in his words, avoiding a direct answer, knowing it wouldn’t be pleasant.
Harmony, with a stern tone, demanded, "Speak!"
Virgil, fearing Harmony's authority, had to truthfully say, "They said that Master Jared Perry would never marry a monster..."
Upon hearing this, Harmony's body trembled violently, closing her eyes tightly, trying to hold back more tears.
The hot-tempered Elbert exploded, "This is outrageous. Did they really say that?! It's too much. If it weren't for our assistance, could the Perry family have achieved their current status? Ungrateful bastards! No, I must go and confront the Perry family!"
However, as he moved to leave, Michael stopped him.
"Brother, why are you stopping me?! Let me go and deal with that bastard Jared Perry!"
Michael spoke in a deep voice, "If they dare to do this, it means they are prepared for us to cause trouble, and we won't gain any advantage by confronting them."
Elbert gritted his teeth, "Damn it! Are we just going to let the Perry family insult our little sister?"

"Yes, I can," James nodded seriously.

He quickly informed Michael of what he needed, prompting Michael to prepare everything as quickly as possible.
Michael was swift, and in less than twenty minutes, he had gathered all the necessary items for James.
After a quick check, James spoke in a solemn tone, "Now, everyone, please leave. I will begin treating Miss Brown."
Soon, everyone exited the room, leaving only James and Harmony inside.
"Miss Brown, could you... um..."
Before James could finish his sentence, Harmony began undressing.
