Chapter 389 What Grade Is Your Sister in?

Standing there was Arianwen, rocking a light blue dress and those cutesy cloth shoes. She legit looked like a high schooler!

With her fair skin and all, James almost did a double-take, thinking she was a teenager.

He'd known Arianwen for years, but this was the first time he'd seen her looking so darn adorable, like a total lolita.

James thought it a perfect word to describe her. She had that baby face, but she always wore this serious, no-nonsense look and rarely cracked a smile. Her cold, emotionless vibe kinda hid her "loli" charm.

But in that snug dress and those white cloth shoes, no one would doubt she was a high schooler. No one would guess she was a stone-cold killer.

This whole look was a major shocker for James.

He was super glad he'd convinced Arianwen to put on this outfit; she looked absolutely stunning.

Seeing James's surprised face and his constant glances, Arianwen got all embarrassed, turned around, and said, "I knew I looked ugly in this. If you wanna laugh, just go ahead."

She gritted her teeth, clearly feeling off.

James snapped out of it and said, "Ugly? Who the heck would say you're ugly? I'll rip their mouth off. If you look ugly in this, then no one's good-looking in this world."

Hearing this, Arianwen felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside and smiled, "Really? You're not lying to me?"

"Why would I lie to you?" James walked over, stood in front of her, propped his chin with his right hand, and looked her up and down, totally satisfied. But then, his eyes stopped at Arianwen's chest, thinking, 'High school girls don't usually have such big chests, right?'

Arianwen quickly noticed his gaze and said, kinda annoyed, "Master, where are you looking?"

"Your chest," James said, straight-up.

Arianwen got even more annoyed; her master was getting more and more pervy!

"I don't wanna go." Arianwen threw a fit and was about to leave.

James said, "Just kidding, my wife's chest is even bigger than yours."

Arianwen's face twisted with anger as she clenched her fists, looking like she was ready to punch someone.

"What did you say?" Arianwen got mad. She realized that since living with her master, she'd gotten angry more times than ever before.

"Just kidding. Actually, you two are the same size," James said with a laugh.

Next, Arianwen, still in that outfit, went along with James.

Admitted, Arianwen was drop-dead gorgeous. Even though she rarely smiled and always looked icy, in that cute, petite dress, and with the cartoon hair clip James gave her, she had this irresistible charm. As soon as she hit the street, she turned heads left and right.

Wearing this kind of outfit for the first time, Arianwen felt super uncomfortable.

If James hadn't been holding her hand the whole time, she would've bailed ages ago. She was more used to killing at night than wandering around in such a "ugly" outfit during the day.

Honestly, in her opinion, this outfit was pretty ugly.

When they rolled up to the medical university, Arianwen's look turned even more heads. College kids were straight-up pulling out their phones to snap pics.

She looked so good, with that icy face and haughty vibe. She was like an anime heroine, which totally hit the sweet spot for some college students.

James hadn't been on a college campus in ages, and the youthful buzz made him feel all happy and chill.

Back in the day, he was a top student at this very medical school, though he bailed not long after.

"So, how's it feel? Way more chill being out during the day than at night, right?" James asked with a grin.

Arianwen shot back coldly, "Boring."

After they got inside the medical school, James led Arianwen around a bit before calling Edwin. Knowing Edwin was already waiting at the admin building, they headed over.

The admin building was close, and they got there in no time. Edwin was actually waiting downstairs.

"Edwin, sorry to keep you waiting," James said, walking over with a smile.

Edwin replied, "Not long at all, I just got here. Who's the lady with you?"

Edwin quickly noticed Arianwen next to James and looked surprised.

Arianwen was stunning, like an anime heroine, and drew attentions.

At the same time, Edwin's look was kinda weird because James had been holding Arianwen's hand the whole way, like he was scared she'd bolt.

Seeing Edwin's look, James knew he had the wrong idea and said, "This is Arianwen, my sister."

Hearing that, Edwin looked relieved, "Oh, she's your sister. What grade is she in?"

Arianwen felt helpless.

James, worried Arianwen might flip out, quickly pulled her behind him, using his body as a shield, and said to Edwin, "She's just started her second year in high school, looks a bit mature."

Edwin didn't doubt it. With Arianwen's looks, he could believe she was a freshman. He just marveled at how mature girls were these days, having such a good figure in high school. Arianwen did look like a high schooler.

The two chatted for a bit. Edwin explained some stuff James needed to know to be a professor, then led him inside.

Soon, they got to the principal's office, where a bunch of school leaders were already there. Seeing the young James behind Edwin, they looked pretty surprised.

"Eryx, I've brought Dr. Smith. His medical skills blow mine out of the water. Making him an honorary professor would be the best move," Edwin said straight-up.

Eryx was a man in his fifties, with a seriously balding head. Looking at the young James, he seemed a bit skeptical.

"Hello, Eryx." Out of politeness, James greeted him.

Eryx frowned slightly, a hint of displeasure crossing his face. When they shook hands, his attitude wasn't very enthusiastic.

In his mind, a doctor highly recommended by Edwin should be at least in his forties or fifties. But James looked like he was in his twenties, just a young man. How could he be a professor at their university? This had to be a joke.
