Chapter 321 The Perry Family Becomes a Joke

Their chat wasn't super loud, but with so many folks yapping, it felt like a freakin' concert, and Uriah and Asher could hear every word.

Asher totally freaked out and had no clue what to do as well.

"I told you to turn it off! Are you deaf?" Asher booted one of his guys away, stormed over to kill the video himself, yanked out the USB, snapped it in half like a twig, and stomped it to bits.

But even that didn't save his reputation; it just made him look more ridiculous.

Kieran's legs were shaking like crazy; he never imagined James's gift would be this.

He was freaking out, scalp tingling, hands and feet ice-cold, like he'd fallen into a frozen lake, legs trembling with fear.

He was kicking himself now, thinking how stupid he'd been. 'It's over, totally over; the Perry family is gonna destroy me!'

He wanted to bolt, but his legs felt like they were made of lead and wouldn't budge.

"Uriah, babe, this video is fake, someone messed with it, I didn't cheat on you, you gotta believe me!" Charlotte grabbed Uriah's hand, pleading in a panic.

But her desperate plea just made her look guilty.

Uriah's face was beet red; he was totally losing it. He slapped Charlotte so hard she went flying, crashing to the ground with half her face swollen.

"Charlotte! You cheating bitch!" Uriah roared, breathing heavy, chest heaving, eyes bloodshot, looking like a wild animal.

Charlotte, after getting slapped, lost three teeth, her head buzzing, filled with fear and rage.

Some Flores family members were there, too. Seeing Charlotte get hit, they went ballistic.

"Uriah, how dare you hit my daughter!" Aiden, the Flores family head, pointed at Uriah, fuming.

After smacking Charlotte, Uriah's anger cooled a bit, and he realized he'd acted rashly. But now, he was in too deep. He sneered, "Why don't you ask what your daughter did?"

Aiden knew they were in the wrong, and on Perry family turf. He was furious but had no choice. After all, his daughter cheated on Uriah, and anyone would lose it in that situation.

So he glared at Uriah, face dark, and helped Charlotte up.

Uriah ignored the Flores family. Compared to Charlotte, he was even more pissed at his driver for letting him get played.

His eyes locked on the driver, his tone ice-cold. "Harold, you're good, real good!"

In the crowd, Harold, the driver, felt a chill run down his spine when Uriah glared at him. His face went pale, and he turned to run.

Being Uriah's driver for years, he knew Uriah's temper better than anyone. He knew that once Uriah found out, his fate would be nothing but endless torture until death!

He didn't wanna die; he was still young, just bought a house, and had a ton of life left to live, so he bolted without a second thought.

As long as he could get away, he swore he'd never come back to Lindwood City.

But in this mess, how could he escape? He barely made it a few feet before security nabbed him and shoved him down in front of Uriah, forcing him to kneel.

"Uriah! Uriah! I messed up, I really messed up!! Please, spare me. Spare me..."

Before he could finish, Uriah kicked him square in the mouth, knocking out all his teeth, leaving him writhing on the ground, wailing and mumbling incoherently.

Uriah's face was stone-cold, but his eyes were blazing with rage, and anyone could feel his fury, which was ready to tear everything apart.

"Feeling proud and excited about letting me get played, huh? I'll let you keep feeling excited!" Uriah grabbed Harold's hair and smashed his head into the ground, knocking him out cold.

By now, the once-grand engagement party was a total disaster, and Uriah, the top genius of Lindwood City, had become a complete joke.

Among the guests, many were smirking and whispering.

Uriah felt their mockery, his mouth twitching, fists clenched tight, with a burning urge to wipe out everyone there!

Of course, he knew that was impossible.

At this point, Asher had to step up, forcing a smile, and said to everyone, "Ladies and gents, some unexpected stuff went down tonight. The party's over, and we ask for your understanding."

He smiled, but it was stiff and joyless.

Uriah stepped forward and said, "Also, I hope everyone keeps tonight's events on the down-low. If anyone blabs, don't blame the Perry family for coming after you."

His threatening words made a lot of people look pretty ticked off.

Asher's heart sank. He cursed inwardly that Uriah's words were reckless and infuriating

He instinctively wanted to smooth things over, but seeing the guests' faces, he knew it was too late. He never expected the usually cool-headed Uriah to screw up this bad.

Among the guests, many were big shots in various industries in Lindwood City. While they couldn't match the Perry family's power, there were a lot of them. Uriah's words would surely tick them off, which would be a huge setback for the Perry family's future growth! And on top of that, they had already fallen out with the Flores family.

Thinking of this, Asher felt exhausted and heavy-hearted.

He quickly remembered that if it weren't for the man sending that USB drive, none of this would have happened!

The cause of all this chaos was Kieran who sent that damned USB drive!

He immediately zeroed in on Kieran, whose legs were shaking as he was trying to slip away with the guests.

"Kieran, stop right there!!"

Hearing Asher's voice, Kieran shuddered, his scalp tingling with fear, and he started to run.

But how could he escape now? Like Harold, he was quickly caught and roughly thrown in front of Asher and Uriah.
