Chapter 138: Just Making Him Less of a Man

Hearing this voice, Curtis shuddered violently!
He mechanically turned his head and saw James's cold face. In an instant, it was as if he had fallen into an ice cave, and his mind went blank.
"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be beaten by Terry now?" Curtis's voice trembled, filled with terror, becoming sharp.
James's appearance was too shocking for him, completely unexpected.
If it weren't for the pain from his hair being pulled, he would have thought he was hallucinating. After all, James was supposed to be drunk tonight. How could he have sobered up in less than half an hour?
Moreover, he had seen Terry and the others enter that room with his own eyes. How could James appear here unscathed?
Most importantly, he locked the door when he came in. How did James get in? He hadn't heard the door open. Could James be a ghost?
Hearing the commotion, Jennifer opened her eyes and saw James's familiar face. She was stunned, full of disbelief.
Once again, James appeared at the most critical moment to save her. At this moment, she felt an urge to cry, her heart filled with James's image.
"James!" she called out his name, unable to say anything more.
Curtis snapped back to reality and quickly kicked at James. He was a Taekwondo expert, usually able to take on three people at once. He didn't believe James could beat him.
James didn't dodge. He grabbed Curtis's hair and yanked hard, causing Curtis to scream in pain and fall to the ground.
"My hair!" Curtis touched his head, finding blood. A large chunk of his hair had been ripped out by James, causing excruciating pain.
James ignored Curtis and walked over to Jennifer, saying, "It's okay. With me here, he can't bully you..."
Before he could finish, Jennifer's eyes reddened, and she threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly.
James stiffened, and then his expression softened. He gently placed his hand on Jennifer's waist, lightly patting her back, and said softly, "It's okay now."
This was the first time Jennifer had hugged him, and James felt excited, but more than that, he was furious. Curtis deserved to die!
Curtis's face twisted in extreme displeasure when he saw Jennifer embrace James. He stood up, grabbed a chair, and swung it at James's head.
He wanted to kill this useless James.
But before he could get close, James kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying into the wall.
The pain was so intense it felt like his bones were breaking. His face contorted in agony, and he could not even scream. He lay on the ground, clutching his stomach, writhing in pain.
Jennifer stepped out of James's embrace. Seeing Curtis in such a miserable state, she felt no pity, only anger and satisfaction.
Up to this point, she only felt disgust and hatred towards Curtis.
"You, you're killing me. Just wait. I'm going to kill you." Curtis struggled to get up, glaring at James with furious eyes.
James patted Jennifer's shoulder and said, "Go rest in bed for a bit. I'll teach him a lesson."
Jennifer said worriedly, "Just don't kill him."
James smiled. "Don't worry. I know what I'm doing."
"Okay." Jennifer nodded lightly.
James dragged Curtis into his hotel room. "Tell me, how would you like to die?"
James smiled at Curtis, seemingly without any malice, as if he were just chatting with him.
Curtis struggled to stand up. When he saw Terry and the others lying on the ground, his face turned pale with fear.
"Did you do all this?" Curtis asked.
James said, "That's right. You're the next."
Curtis realized he had underestimated James's strength. He hadn't expected James to be so good at fighting and to handle six people.
Dusting off his clothes, Curtis regained his composure and said arrogantly, "I admit I underestimated you. I didn't expect you to be quite the fighter."
James looked at him with a strange expression. "Aren't you afraid of me?"
Curtis laughed. "What's there to be afraid of? You brought me here just to extort me. So, how much do you want?"
James frowned without a response, and Curtis's smile grew wider. "What, too embarrassing to say? How about this? I'll give you a million dollars, and we'll call it even."
Curtis wrote a check for a million dollars and placed it in front of James, standing tall and proud, thinking that a million dollars would be enough to leave James speechless with excitement.
James picked up the million-dollar check and smiled. "Looks like you're quite wealthy."
Curtis replied arrogantly, "Of course. A million dollars is nothing to me. You've probably never seen this much money in your life, have you?"
Curtis mocked him, feeling a different kind of pleasure from using money to humiliate James.
But before he could finish his laugh, he saw James tear up the check and blow the pieces in his face. "In fact, I don't want it. It's getting late, and I need to go back to sleep."
Curtis's mouth twitched, and he became furious, feeling insulted.
He immediately pulled out another check, wrote down two million dollars, and slapped it in front of James. "Two million dollars, James. You should be grateful."
James laughed helplessly, wondering how Jennifer could have ever had feelings for someone like Curtis.
He didn't bother to say anything more and slapped Curtis, knocking him to the ground.
"James!" Curtis shouted with fury.
"You're really annoying!" James frowned. He had been here for three minutes already, and if he didn't go back soon, Jennifer might start worrying about him. So he decided to stop playing around with Curtis and got straight to the point.
He took out two silver needles from his needle box and inserted them into two acupuncture points on Curtis's waist. Instantly, Curtis's body stiffened, and he couldn't muster any strength. "James, what did you do to me?"
"Nothing much." James smiled brightly, but to Curtis, it looked incredibly sinister.
As he finished speaking, James inserted a few more needles into Curtis's body. Curtis felt a strange sensation coursing through his body, making him tremble with fear and pain.
"Fuck you. I'm warning you..."
Curtis was both shocked and angry, but before he could finish his sentence, he started trembling again.
In just five minutes, he was tortured to the point of exhaustion, feeling a fatigue he had never experienced before.
"I was wrong. I know my mistake... Please let me go."
He was genuinely scared now, begging for mercy.
This was too bizarre. He had never experienced anything so terrifying. His whole body was paralyzed, and all he felt was excruciating pain.
He seriously suspected that he was bleeding internally!
James waited another two minutes before removing the needles. He smiled and said, "How do you feel? Satisfied? I've made your sex function break, so now you can only focus on your business. Maybe you'll become a billionaire soon."
Seeing James's bright smile, Curtis felt more fear, trembling all over.
He deeply regretted it. If he had known this would happen, he wouldn't have messed with Jennifer!
'James wasn't a loser; he was a demon!' Curtis thought to himself.
"By the way, I'll take these two million dollars," James said, picking up the check with two fingers and walking away.
After James left, Curtis broke down and cried, completely collapsing.
James didn't take Curtis's life; he just took away his manhood.
For a man, being rendered impotent was far more painful than death.
In a way, James did a good thing. After all, maybe Curtis might hurt more women in the future. Now, James gave a permanent solution.
Back in room 808, Jennifer was pacing nervously. Hearing the door open, she tensed up until she saw it was James. She relaxed and walked up to him, asking, "Are you okay?"
James felt warm inside, feeling her concern. After being married for so long, Jennifer was finally worried about him. "I'm fine. Let's find another hotel to stay at."
"Okay." Jennifer nodded. Even if James hadn't suggested it, she would have. After what had happened, she wouldn't feel safe staying here.
"What did you do to Curtis?" Jennifer asked worriedly. "You didn't do anything illegal, did you?"
James replied, "Do I look like someone who would do that? Don't worry. I just gave Curtis a little lesson."
Seeing the mischievous smile on James's face, Jennifer was curious and asked, "What kind of lesson?"
"Oh, I just made sure he can't be a man anymore," James said with a smile.
Jennifer was surprised. "Oh my God, you call that a little lesson?"
But thinking about Curtis's actions, Jennifer felt no sympathy for him. She thought he deserved it.
James secretly observed Jennifer, and seeing her at ease, he breathed a sigh of relief. It meant Jennifer was completely done with Curtis.
The two of them found another hotel to stay at. James originally planned to book two rooms, but since it was the weekend, all the rooms were booked except for one deluxe single room.
"Should we check another hotel?" James asked tentatively.
Jennifer gave him a look and then said to the front desk, "We'll take this room."
When they got to the room, James and Jennifer awkwardly discovered that it was a waterbed, and the room had a romantic atmosphere, clearly a love-themed room.
