Chapter 527 Noisy

After finishing the movie with Jennifer, it was already three o'clock in the morning. As they stepped out of the mall, a gust of cold wind blew through, causing Jennifer to immediately huddle up.

James took off his coat and draped it over Jennifer, hugging her. Instantly, Jennifer stopped shivering as warmth radiated from James, like a heater.

"You gave me your coat. Aren't you cold?" Jennifer asked softly.

With a warm smile on his face, James responded, "Did you forget that I'm a martial artist? I'm in great shape; I won't get cold."

"James, you're so good to me." Jennifer's eyes sparkled with happiness she couldn't hide. She stood on her tiptoes and bravely gave James a light kiss on the lips.

James laughed, "Honey, we're married. Isn't it only natural for me to be good to you?"

Jennifer's eyes shone even brighter, and she hugged James even tighter.

If it were six months ago, Jennifer would never have imagined being this close to James, more loving than most couples. Even now, it still felt unreal to her, like a dream.

After leaving the cinema, they went for a late-night snack. Since it was already very late, there weren't many places open, only the bars on one street were still serving food. The area was a mix of all sorts. Jennifer, being such a beauty, was undoubtedly a huge temptation, immediately catching the attention of at least a hundred men, many of whom were strong, tattooed guys. They looked at Jennifer with ill intentions, practically drooling.

Jennifer wasn't worried at all. She knew James's strength; no matter how dangerous the situation, he could protect her securely. This sense of safety was what satisfied her the most.

"Aren't you scared?" James asked with a smile.

"With you here, there's nothing to fear," Jennifer said, her smile radiantly enchanting, captivating all who saw it. There were dozens of barmaids present, each youthful and attractive, adorned with heavy makeup. Yet, even the prettiest among them paled in comparison to the breathtaking beauty that was Jennifer.

The men were attracting by Jennifer's charming figure.

Even James was momentarily entranced, holding Jennifer's hand tightly and sincerely saying, "Jennifer, you're really beautiful."

Jennifer's smile was radiant, unable to hide her joy.

ennifer's extraordinary beauty inevitably drew attention, and finally, a few men couldn't resist approaching her. Covered in tattoos, it was evident they were not to be trifled with—figures of the underworld, men of significant influence and power.

They had drunk quite a bit, reeking of alcohol, making it uncomfortable to be near them.

"Hey, beauty, we're the mob bosses around here. This place is under our control, including the chair you're sitting on." The man leading the group, in his early thirties, was particularly tall and strong, looking intimidating. He spoke to Jennifer, staring at her without blinking, his eyes full of lust, practically drooling.

Not just him, the men beside him were also staring wide-eyed, drooling.

They ingored James, thinking he was just a useless white-collar worker.

Without any word, they sat down. The burly man even sat right next to Jennifer, taking a deep breath and showing a lecherous smile, "Wow, you smell so good."

His behavior was disgusting, and Jennifer frowned, "This is our spot. Please leave and don't disturb our meal."

Hearing Jennifer's polite words, his eyes lit up even more, swallowing hard.

The others were also drooling.

The burly man laughed, "My gosh, a cultured lady. I wonder how you sound in bed... "

Before he could finish, James smashed a glass against his forehead, shouting, "Get lost!"

It was so violent that no one expected James to be so fierce, completely at odds with his refined demeanor.

Even Jennifer was startled, a bit shocked by James's violence.

James's sudden action stunned everyone.

"Drop dead! I'm going to mess around with your girlfriend right in front of you...!" Before he could finish, James grabbed a beer bottle and smashed it over his head.

The blow was too heavy; he couldn't take it, his eyes rolled back, and he passed out.

"You're dead!"

"kill him!"

"Kill him first, then mess around with the woman in front of him."

The others erupted in fury and collectively lunged at James. Their stance was one of genuine rage; for an ordinary person, such an attack would undoubtedly result in severe injury, if not death. The fate awaiting Jennifer would be even more dreadful.

But they hadn't expected that James was no ordinary person.

Confronted with their assault, James did not even bother to rise from his seat. Without anyone catching a glimpse of his movements, the only indication was a series of audible thuds as the burly attackers, charging with such ferocity, were sent flying backward.

"Annoying," James said expressionlessly.

His move shocked everyone.

Their gazes at James changed completely.

Those who initially harbored intentions towards Jennifer wiped the sweat from their brows, feeling a surge of relief. They were grateful for their restraint, for otherwise, they would now be among those lying on the ground.

"Excuse me," James said calmly, as if nothing had happened, exuding charm.

Jennifer's eyes were full of admiration.

She used to hate violence, but now she found that James being violent occasionally was quite attractive.

The waiter was dumbfounded, shivering under James's gaze, quickly coming over, swallowing hard.

James and Jennifer continued ordering and chatting as if nothing had happened.

Those who had previously entertained designs on Jennifer no longer dared to even glance her way, fearing they might attract James's attention.

After their late-night snack, James and Jennifer went home.

The next day, Dennis received a call from the Johnson family, extremely respectful, full of apologies, leaving Dennis puzzled. It wasn't until later that he cottoned on it was all thanks to James.

Meanwhile, at an airport in Serenity State, an angelic woman arrived.
