Chapter 364 Kieran's Chance to Please James

"Kieran, dude, you still haven't sorted out that mess with Quillon?" The man who opened the door plopped down next to Kieran, looking all curious.

Kieran kept munching on his food, looking totally chill. "Yeah, it's handled. What's the deal?" he replied.

"For real? Did Quillon back down, or is he still acting tough?" The man frowned, looking unsure.

Another guy snorted, "Oh, he totally backed down. You should've seen how he was kissing up to Kieran. We didn't even have to lift a finger, and he was already shaking in his boots. Quillon's just a small-time punk; next to Kieran, he's nothing but a joke. If he tried anything, he'd be toast."

"Exactly, Quillon's just a wannabe who bullies regular folks. When he sees us, he's scared out of his mind." The person laughed heartily.

"Does he even know who Kieran is? He can't mess with him. He even wants to tag along with Kieran, but Kieran doesn't give him the time of day." Someone chimed in, throwing shade.

Hearing this, the first man said, "Quillon's just asking for trouble."

"What happened? You got into it with Quillon?" Kieran asked.

"Not really. I was just passing by a private room and heard Quillon running his mouth. He was talking trash about you, saying you have to show him respect. I thought he had you cornered." The first man explained.

Everyone got heated, ready to go after Quillon. But Kieran didn't even flinch. He was racking his head to fathom how to get on James's good side.

Ever since the Perry family got wiped out last week, everyone knew James was the real deal. He took down the whole Perry clan in Lindwood City without making a peep. No media, no news, nothing. Everyone in the know was too scared to even mention it.

This just showed how powerful James was. Kieran knew he needed someone like James to climb any higher in Lindwood City. His own skills could only take him so far, and James was the key to his next level.

The only hitch was that He didn't have James's contact info, so he couldn't even start to butter him up.

Feeling frustrated, he heard his crew arguing and slammed the table, shouting, "What the hell are you all yapping about? Zip it."

Everyone went dead silent. After a bit, one of them cautiously said, "Kieran, that loser Quillon is talking smack about you in another room. Shouldn't we go teach him a lesson?"

"What?" Kieran frowned, then shook his head. "No way. Quillon's scared stiff when he sees me. He wouldn't dare talk trash."

"Kieran, I'm telling you, it's true," the first man said, all hyped up, and then spilled the beans on what he heard. Kieran's face turned red with rage, and he slammed the table so hard everything on it jumped. "Alright, let's go see if this punk's got a death wish."

Kieran and his crew, about a dozen of them, stormed towards Quillon's private room. Meanwhile, Quillon had no clue his big mouth had landed him in hot water. He was still feeling all high and mighty, one leg propped on a chair, pointing at Dennis and making threats..

Jennifer had enough and stood up, saying, "This is a society with laws. Stop trying to scare us. If you lay a finger on us, I'll call the cops, and they'll arrest you."

But they all just laughed at her, like she was telling a joke. Quillon stared at Jennifer and chuckled, "You're so naive. Haven't seen someone like you in ages. Call the cops on me? You think they can touch me?"

Dorian felt helpless, thinking Jennifer was a bit too innocent. These guys were loaded and had connections. Why would they fear the police?

Kaitlyn shrank back and said, "Let's just get out of here. We don't need to eat here."

Dennis, scared out of his wits, nodded and wanted to leave, too. But Quillon and his gang blocked their way. Quillon even spread his arms, trying to grab Jennifer, but she dodged just in time.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Jennifer's face turned pale with anger, and she shouted.

"You dodge pretty quick," Quillon said, not even mad, just grinning like a creep. "What am I doing? I wanna get with you. You're so hot. Bet it feels amazing." He kept going, totally shameless.

He was acting like he owned the place, not taking Jennifer and the others seriously at all. He'd done this kind of thing plenty of times before. Regular folks wouldn't dare fight back, even if they got hurt.

Dennis got mad again, stepping in front of Jennifer. "Don't push it. James is really powerful! If you mess with us, you'll be in big trouble when he comes back."

He said it angrily, but deep down, he felt bitter and regretful. Why had he been so dumb to drive James away? Now they were getting bullied, and he had no way to fight back.

Jennifer bit her lip, feeling uneasy. Kaitlyn sighed, feeling some regret, too.

"Oh wow, I'm so scared. James must be a big deal, huh? Perfect. I love messing with big shots' women," Quillon laughed.

As he spoke, he reached out to grab Jennifer with so many people watching.

To him, he was the king here, a law unto himself. He could tell the family in front of him were just regular people. No matter how far he went, there wouldn't be any trouble. He'd done this plenty of times over the years.

Compared to those nightclub girls, Jennifer was way better. He lost his appetite for food and wanted to get with Jennifer first.
