Chapter 324 The Terrifying James

From the second James got surrounded to the moment he dropped those three dudes, it all went down in just three seconds—one second per guy. It was so quick that anyone would miss if they blinked.

James moved like a freakin' ninja, all smooth and deadly, like dancing some kind of violent ballet.

Uriah, standing not too far off, saw the whole thing and his eyes went wide, his breath catching. He was no slouch in a fight himself and knew how tough it was to face a gang of armed thugs. Even he’d get his ass handed to him in that situation.

But James? He flipped the script, taking down three guys in a brutal, no-nonsense way, his moves so sharp they were practically perfect.

For a split second, it felt like James was the one doing the surrounding, not the other way around!

Then Uriah remembered what Soren had said: James was scarily strong, even pro fighters couldn’t touch him.

Back then, Uriah had shrugged it off. In his mind, no matter how badass someone was, there were limits. This was their city, where money and power ruled. No way could one guy take on a whole crew. So he wasn’t sweating James at all.

He saw James, cocky as hell, using just his left hand to handle a dozen tough guys. Uriah felt no fear but laughed it off, thinking James was a total idiot.

These thugs were all hotheads, used to brawling. Even famous fighters couldn’t take them. So when they saw James drop three guys in a heartbeat, they didn’t back down. They got even more pumped.

James was surrounded, dudes on all sides. In the next heartbeat, three guys charged at him, swinging iron rods from different angles, slicing through the air with a nasty whistle.

Every escape route was cut off; James was cornered.

They all figured if just one rod hit James, he’d be done for, crippled and out of the fight.

But they had no clue who they were messing with.

James let out a cold snort, smirking to himself. Dodging? Not his style.

He went straight for them, still with his left hand, throwing punches faster than a man could see, leaving just blurs in the air. Before the rods could touch him, they were already flying out of their hands.

Those thugs weren't just knocked back, but sent flying, which made for one hell of a scene.

James had been holding back for five years. Now, finally getting to cut loose, he wasn’t hiding anymore and went all out!

The rest of the thugs saw this and froze for a second, eyes wide with shock, a flicker of panic creeping in.

James's show of strength totally blew their minds! Could someone really be that strong? To punch a dude into the air with just one hit, and he didn't even go all out, but he took them down with three quick, precise punches. It looked like just a warm-up for James.

"Y'all are too slow," James said, letting out a sigh, sounding kinda disappointed.

The remaining ten or so guys heard this and felt a chill run down their spines, a nameless fear, like they were staring death in the face.

Before they could even think about another round of attack, James flashed them a mocking grin and made the first move.

His right hand still stayed behind his back. He stroke and each punch sent a guy flying, making a perfect arc in the air before crashing down.

In less than thirty seconds, he had taken down the dozen or so thugs, each one groaning on the ground.

Uriah was floored.

Before this, he couldn't have imagined anyone could fight like this, using just one hand to take down a dozen armed fighters, and come out without a scratch! It was beyond anything he thought possible!

Suddenly, he got why James had the guts to come alone.

Asher, who had just caught his breath, saw this and was about to lose it again. His breathing got heavy, and he urgently shouted, "Quick, all of you, attack together and kill him!"

The remaining thirty guys, all top dogs from the Perry family, gritted their teeth and charged at James, hoping to use their numbers to take him down.

They couldn't believe James could really handle dozens of people on his own!

Even the two big guys who had been holding Kieran grabbed weapons, their eyes blazing with rage, roaring like beasts as they charged at James.

From Kieran's point of view, the scene was insane. He held his breath, his whole body shaking with tension.

He'd been in plenty of fights over the years but had never seen anything like this! And any one of these guys was stronger than him. If he were in this situation, he wouldn't even be able to fight; he'd be scared out of his mind.

James totally rocked him with a mountingly greater impression.

Facing the combined assault of so many people, James smiled again—an excited, satisfied smile, like a kid who just got his favorite toy, genuinely enjoying himself.

"Good, you're all coming," James said, his voice not loud, like he was talking to himself, but everyone could hear it.

He stood his ground, waiting for them to swarm him like locusts, their clubss and knives aimed at him.

From Uriah and Kieran's perspective, James's figure was no longer visible, completely swallowed by the crowd, with only the sounds of fighting and shouting filling the air.

Uriah felt unknowingly nervous. Despite having the absolute numbers, he couldn't help but feel tense.

This had never happened to him before.

Before, no matter what he faced, he always had absolute control and never felt this passive and uneasy.
