Chapter 325 Who Is He?

"Take him down! Tear him apart!"

"Everyone, get in there!"

"Go, go, go!"

The crowd was buzzing with shouts. They had him surrounded, packed in tight. A chunk of metal would get smashed to bits, let alone a man.

But James? He was way tougher than a chunk of metal. Facing this mob, he was pumped—like, seriously pumped. It was like every cell in his body was on fire, bursting with energy.

The dozen guys before him were just a warm-up. Now, with thirty dudes coming at him, he was ready to get serious.

He let his right hand loose, and as attacks flew in from all sides, he moved like a snake, dodging at the last second every time. His hands weren't just for show either; every punch, every chop hit dead-on. One by one, they dropped around him.

Sure, he wasn't invincible. Even with his crazy martial arts skills, he took a few hits from the swarm of attackers.

But he dodged the critical spots, so it didn't slow him down at all.

The sounds of fighting and screams of pain echoed all around.

Uriah and Asher, who had been all confident before, now looked shocked, tense, astonished, and downright scared.

As more and more guys hit the ground, they finally spotted James in the middle of the chaos, standing like some undefeated war god. He was barely sweating, despite their onslaught.

With one last punch, he sent the final thug flying, who was trying to run. James stopped, took a deep breath, and let it out slow. Even from a distance, Uriah and Asher could feel his intense presence.

James's skin turned red, like a steam engine, with wisps of steam rising from his head. It was a wild sight.

He had locked his pores during the fight to keep his energy from leaking, like a car engine running at full throttle. Now, after the fight, he opened them up, and steam poured out.

The hall was a mess, bodies scattered everywhere, only a few still standing.

Uriah was in total shock. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that someone this powerful existed—someone who could take on dozens of trained thugs alone!

Who was he?

His scalp tingled with tension. Seeing James's steaming figure, he was shaking all over.

Asher wasn't much better. As the Perry family leader, he'd seen a lot, but never anything like this. He even started to doubt if James was not a human but some devil

"Who are you?" Asher stammered.

Kieran was completely floored. He always knew James was a badass, but he never imagined he could be this insanely strong!

James opened his eyes, stretched, and his joints cracked in a way that would make anyone cringe.

"Man, that feels good. Haven't felt this loose in ages." James grinned like a kid, a genuine one with a bit of relief.

He'd been holding back for five years, and now that he let loose, he felt amazing.

Even though he burned a ton of energy, he felt refreshed and super happy.

Uriah's eyes narrowed, and he couldn't bring himself to meet James's gaze. His mind was a mess. Tonight's events, from the USB gift to now, were way out of his control, especially James's freakishly strong fighting skills, which was freaking him out.

"Surprised, huh?" James asked with a grin, strolling over to Uriah and Asher.

Uriah gulped, trying to steady himself. After a moment, he forced a smile and even clapped. "Impressive. Really impressive! James, I gotta admit, I underestimated you. You're amazingly good. No wonder Jared lost to you."

James was right in front of him now, staring him down with a smile. "How do you wanna die?"

Fear flashed in Uriah's eyes, but he quickly masked it, trying to look confident. He even poured a drink for James and handed it over with a humble posture. "Mr. Smith, I was wrong before. On behalf of the Perry family, I apologize. Mr. Smith, I hope you can forgive us."

James squinted, his expression unreadable. "Uriah, you trying to make peace with me?"

"Exactly." Uriah got more excited and respectful. "Mr. Smith, what happened before was just a misunderstanding."

Before he could finish, James grabbed two of his fingers and bent them back at a nasty angle. Caught off guard, Uriah screamed and dropped to his knees.

The pain was brutal. Uriah felt like his fingers were about to snap.

"Misunderstanding? The Perry family sent people to block me and sent photos to Jennifer. You call that a misunderstanding?" James asked.

Kneeling before James, Uriah felt humiliated and furious. He wanted to get up, but James didn't give him the chance, applying more pressure. The angle of his fingers increased, and the pain brought tears to his eyes.

He looked up at James's mocking face, whose sharp gaze seemed to see right through him. At that moment, he realized he had underestimated James. James wasn't just a martial arts beast; he was smart as hell, too.

"We're willing to compensate!" he shouted with difficulty, knowing that without paying a price, James would never let them off.

Sure enough, James eased his grip a bit, looking curious. "Alright, what can you offer me?"

James snapped his fingers, signaling Kieran to bring a chair. Kieran quickly got the message, brought a chair over for James to sit on, and stood respectfully beside him. He looked fully aware of his subordinate role.
