Chapter 263 The Angry James

James didn't dodge the upcoming punch at all. Instead, the corners of his mouth slightly lifted into a disdainful smirk as he extended his left hand to catch Jack's fist with one hand.

Everyone present thought James was too arrogant.

'With this build, he dares to take the huge foreigner's punch head-on? He is doomed.' they held the same thought.

Jack's lips curled into a cruel smile as he let out a derisive curse. His punch, meant to intimidate, landed on James’s palm with a muffled sound, barely more than a light tap. The incongruity of Jack’s fierce stance against the almost dismissive response from James created a stark, unsettling contrast.

James, however, remained an immovable force, his composure unshaken.

"Is that all you've got? " James shook his head, full of disdain.

Jack's pupils dilated suddenly, showing an expression of disbelief as if he had seen a monster.

Unwilling to accept this, he tried to pull his fist back forcefully, but found that his fist was stuck as if trapped in a wall. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pull it out.

Instead, he felt James's palm continuously tightening, gripping his fist tightly.

The intense pain contorted Jack’s face into a grimace of agony, and he kept gasping.

The onlookers were also dumbfounded, thinking they were hallucinating. Some even pinched themselves hard to verify if it was real.

"Go to hell!!" Jack roared, his fury now uncontrollable.

He couldn't believe someone had the audacity to defy him, committing an unforgivable sin.

He had trained in boxing for a while, making his reactions much faster than an average person. So, he was confident in himself and wasted no time launching a brutal counterattack. With a vicious glare, he aimed a savage kick at James’s groin, intent on exacting severe retribution for his perceived disrespect.

James’s lips curled into a disdainful smile. He recognized the arrogance and contempt in Jack’s eyes, the same kind of arrogance that had driven these men to target Jennifer. His anger flared anew.

Facing Jack's kick, James raised his leg to kick back, meeting Jack's force head-on. A piercing scream followed, of course, from Jack's mouth. No matter how tough his bones were, they couldn't withstand James's furious kick.

This was a completely unfair fight.

With just that kick, Jack's bones were fractured, causing him immense pain, and he fell to his knees in front of James.

He kept cursing, still unaware of who he was facing. James's eyes were cold, radiating a murderous aura.

At this moment, Steve beside him also cursed, assuming a boxing stance, and threw a hook punch at James with all his might.

Without even looking, James accurately grabbed his wrist. The sharp crack of breaking bones echoed through the space as James wrenched Steve’s arm, dislocating his entire right hand with a forceful shake.

Then, he grabbed Steve's neck with one hand and lifted him up!

This scene, usually seen only in movies, was effortlessly executed by James. His expression was relaxed and showed no strain.

"Did I see that right? This guy can lift a person with one hand???"

"Oh my God, it's so shocking, so amazing!!"

"Well done, I've long been fed up with these arrogant foreigners."

"Yes. These arrogant foreigners should be taught a good lesson!!"

James's actions stirred a wave of admiration, especially among some dignified men, whose faces flushed with excitement.

In recent years, due to economic globalization, many foreigners had flooded into Lindwood City, and most of them were very rude, causing much resentment. Now, seeing someone teach these foreigners a lesson made everyone happy.

Kneeling on the ground, Jack watched this scene, his face turning pale with fear, stuttering violently, and trembling all over.

Steve, meanwhile, was suspended in mid-air by James’s unyielding grip. His legs flailed desperately, and his face turned a deep shade of red. He thrashed and slapped at James’s hand, but his efforts were futile.

He was scared, truly scared, with a deep-seated fear because he felt James's anger and his intent to kill! A remorse hint was flicking in his eyes.

Now, facing the shorter James, he was terrified, utterly terrified. He couldn’t believe there was anyone strong like James. His eyes showed pain, despair, and pleading, begging James to spare him; he didn't want to die.

Naturally, James didn’t have such an atrocious temper. But now, he was extremely angry because of what they had done to his wife, and his grip on Steve's neck kept tightening.

Soon, Steve’s frantic movements began to slow. His kicks became weaker, his breaths more labored. The life was slowly being choked out of him by James!
