Chapter 189 Mr. Jackson

A large crowd had gathered at the hotel entrance to greet the arrival. Among them were Douglas, Jared, and Brian. Their excitement was clearly visible on their faces, especially for Jared, whose inner longing was the most intense. It wasn't just his desire for success; more importantly, he wanted to destroy The Brown Family and make Harmony regret it. He even imagined Harmony and James kneeling before him in repentance.

Douglas said, "In the current domestic environment, anyone who dares to be so ostentatious must be a tycoon among tycoons! Jared, Brian, you must win over that woman's heart. The future glory of the Perry Family depends on you."

Jared pounded his chest with fervor. "Dad, I will not disappoint you!"

Brian, equally unable to hide his excitement, raised his voice. "I will definitely marry that woman."

"That will be great." Douglas was thrilled, patting their shoulders in succession, filled with confidence.

As he looked around Lindwood City, he thought few young talents were as outstanding as his two sons, especially when it came to dealing with women. Jared and Brian had a unique advantage—they were both very handsome.

If the arriving tycoon was indeed looking for a husband for his daughter in Lindwood City, he believed Jared and Brian had a great chance.

In addition to the Perry Family, many other tycoons from Lindwood City were present, including several local officials like Joe. They were all there to welcome this tycoon.

Andres had already stepped down, so he was not present, but Michael and Elbert were there. They also wanted to see what this tycoon looked like.

Finally, the convoy stopped. From the dozen or so Bentley cars behind it, dozens of bodyguards in black suits emerged, each of them exuding a powerful aura. It was clear that they were professionally trained special forces; even in suits, they emanated a chilling presence that made one shudder.

Next, two bodyguards quickly walked to the rear seat of the first Rolls-Royce, bowed, and opened the door.

Everyone widened their eyes, staring intently.

Soon, a middle-aged man in a suit stepped out of the car. He appeared to be in his fifties but had well-maintained skin. He was tall and slender, and most importantly, he exuded an imposing aura. His eyes were sharp, emanating an intimidating aura.

One could tell he had been on the battlefield, but upon closer inspection, it was noticeable that his walk was somewhat unnatural, as if his left leg was slightly shorter.

After getting out of the car, he did not walk away immediately but instead revealed a kind smile and extended his hand into the car.

In the next moment, under everyone's gaze, a hand as exquisite and beautiful as a work of art reached out and rested on the middle-aged man's hand. Following that, a face appeared that was covered with a veil that hid most of it, revealing only a pair of eyes.

Even though most of her face was covered, those eyes alone had already captivated everyone present.

Even many older men were momentarily dazed, their hearts struck hard.

Not to mention the young talents like Jared and Brian, who were directly stunned, staring blankly, their minds momentarily blank.

'What kind of eyes are those?' everyone exclaimed inwardly.

Soon, her entire figure was revealed to the public. She was dressed in a white evening gown, with not a hint of skin exposed, wrapped tightly. Even so, it was evident that her figure was extremely alluring.

Despite such a seductive figure, she did not evoke any lewd thoughts in anyone. It was as if facing an angel; one could only admire from afar and not dare to be profane.

Her appearance brought a momentary silence. Many took a deep breath; their initial excitement was now intensified to an even greater degree.

Even Michael, upon seeing this woman, felt a pang of regret for marrying early. This sentiment was even stronger among the other men.

Jared's heart raced to the point of bursting, his eyes filled with a fanatical fervor. He screamed internally, 'I must have this woman, no matter the cost!'

Such thoughts were shared by many of the young talents present.

After stepping out of the car, the woman casually glanced over the crowd. Anyone her eyes fell upon felt a surge of excitement.

Soon, she displayed a look of disappointment, clearly finding no one of interest among those present, or perhaps not seeing the person she wished to see.

The woman, holding the middle-aged man's arm, stepped onto the red carpet and began walking towards the hotel entrance.

At this moment, Joe took the lead, hurrying to greet them.

"Mr. Jackson, I've heard so much about you. Upon meeting you today, you truly live up to your reputation!" Joe's body bent slightly, showing great respect.

After hearing Joe's words, many present realized that tonight's tycoon was named Jackson.

They immediately understood the tycoon's background, feeling both awe and excitement. Their respect deepened, and they knew he was a true aristocrat.

Mr. Jackson smiled. His demeanor was that of someone who commanded respect without anger, making it impossible for anyone to act presumptuously before him. He said, "Mr. Evans, you've been troubled."

Joe quickly waved his hand and said, "No trouble at all! Your visit to Lindwood City is our great fortune. How could it be any trouble?"

Mr. Jackson smiled slightly but said nothing more. As a tycoon, he naturally had the pride of one.

Others also came forward to greet Mr. Jackson and introduce themselves.

Mr. Jackson nodded in response to each, though it was clear he likely did not remember their names.

At this moment, his daughter standing beside him gave a gentle cough, prompting Mr. Jackson to say, "We should go inside."

"Yes, yes!" Joe hurriedly said. "I was so excited to see you that I forgot the main event. Let's head to the banquet hall. We have prepared a banquet to welcome you."

"Good." Mr. Jackson nodded slightly and walked ahead.

Michael, Douglas, and the others had only managed a brief greeting with Mr. Jackson and had no further opportunity to speak. His gaze did not linger on any of them for more than five seconds.

In Lindwood City, they were all prominent figures who held exalted positions. Ordinary people would be thrilled to see them. But in front of Mr. Jackson, they were completely overshadowed and became the ordinary ones.

This left them feeling both disheartened and more determined.
