Chapter 426 The Johnson Family, Gone Forever

Dennis burst into laughter, "What did you say?"

At this moment, he appeared transformed, shedding his usual timidity and cowardice, now replaced by a hint of madness.

Valor trembled with anger. In front of Dennis, he had always been the one in control. Now, Dennis dared to speak to him like this, which was the utmost disrespect. Even if James knew Walter, so what? No matter what, he was still Dennis and the others' elder. Were they really going to mock him?

From his perspective, it was deplorable for him to humiliate Dennis and the others, yet entirely reprehensible for them to humiliate him.

"Bastard, I am your father. How dare you speak to me like this?" Valor was shaking with rage.

"Father? Have you ever fulfilled a single day of a father's duty?" At this moment, Dennis suddenly understood that some things were destined to be unattainable from the day he was born, like fatherly love.

Valor fell silent.

Dennis then turned to James and said, "James, I have no attachment to the Johnson Family anymore. Do whatever you want with them."

By saying this, he had clearly given up, with no lingering attachment.

James got Dennis's meaning. He nodded and directly said to Walter, "Within three days, dismantle the Johnson Family. Can you do it?"

Walter laughed, "Three days? You're underestimating me. For the Johnson Family, I can dismantle them within three hours and make them disappear from Sunridge City."

"Alright, then go ahead." James nodded, not wasting a single word.

"Bastard, how dare you?" Valor panicked instantly, cursing in anger. He was so agitated that he started coughing violently, almost collapsing as he staggered to sit on a chair, extremely weak.

But no one dared to help him anymore.

The remaining members of the Johnson Family were terrified and quickly knelt before James, begging for mercy.

They were used to living a wealthy life and couldn't imagine living as poor people. At this moment, they forgot all about dignity; preserving their wealth was the most important thing.

With a glance from James, Walter understood and immediately had his men drive them away. Helplessly, they had no choice but to beg Dennis and the others for mercy. Rhys and Molly, in particular, knelt like dogs before Dennis and Kaitlyn, clutching their legs and begging bitterly.

But by this time, their hearts had long been broken. How could they be soft-hearted? They knew very well that if it weren't for James, their fate would have been much worse, and given the Johnson Family's style, they would never have spared them.

They had compassion, but that didn't mean they had no principles or were overflowing with kindness.

Especially Jennifer, who had no good feelings towards the Johnson Family to begin with. How could she possibly forgive them?

With a single phone call from Walter, actions were quickly taken. Soon, Rhys and Molly received calls informing them that their companies were under investigation, their partners had canceled collaborations, and their children had been arrested for crimes.

The Johnson family was completely finished.

With this, Valor spat out a mouthful of blood and fainted.

Ten minutes later, James and the others left and arrived at another luxurious villa, a property Walter had bought in Silver Crest Villas.

"James, it's rare for you to come by. I've prepared a banquet to entertain you," Walter said respectfully to James. The longer he spent with James, the more he realized how unfathomable James was, especially with that invisible aura of authority that made it hard for him to breathe.

Previously, Walter had some dissatisfaction and a desire to compete with James, but now, he unconsciously no longer had such thoughts.

Human nature was such that when encountering someone slightly stronger, one might feel competitive. But when that person was far superior, beyond reach, the feeling of dissatisfaction tured into reverence.

It was like when a friend unexpectedly gained wealth and enjoys an improved lifestyle; one might initially feel envy and the desire to outdo them. However, if that individual far exceeded you, your jealousy transformed into admiration. Much like how an individual would never begrudge the world's wealthiest individual.

That's how Walter felt about James now.

James naturally sensed this psychological shift in Walter. He wasn't surprised or moved because he didn't care what Walter thought.

"Refrain from addressing me as 'teacher,' for I shall not accept you as my student."

Walter was stunned and quickly said, "But you already promised me."

James said, "I promised to help you break through as a martial artist, but I never said I'd make you my student."

Seeing James's indifferent expression, Walter felt a bit unwilling, "Am I not worthy of being your student?"

"That's right," James replied bluntly.

Behind them, Dennis and Kaitlyn were very confused. What was a warrior? They didn't know, but they could tell that James looked down on Walter.

"Dad, Mom, if you're tired, go rest. We'll stay here for two days; there's no rush to go back," James said with a smile to Dennis and Kaitlyn.

Dennis and Kaitlyn were indeed a bit tired. They were older and couldn't keep up with the younger ones.

James then turned to Jennifer and asked, "Do you want to rest for a while?"

Walter glanced at Jennifer and was instantly captivated. This woman was no less gorgeous than Emberlyn.

Moreover, judging by James's relationship with her, he was shocked, thinking about Emberlyn.

Actually, James didn't dare to say anything and quickly looked away, pretending to know nothing.

Jennifer said, "I'm not tired."

"Alright." James nodded

James didn't avoid it and began instructing Walter in front of Jennifer.

"Your aptitude is good. With effort, you could break through to a warrior on your own. But you didn't lay a good foundation from a young age, indulged excessively, and lacked proper training methods, so you could never break through. Precisely, on your own, you could never break through to the warrior level in your lifetime."

Walter's eyebrows twitched, and he quickly said, "You have promised me."

"Why are you in such a hurry?" James scolded, "I know I have promised you."

Walter immediately quieted down. He found that James's demeanor was increasingly like Derek's, making him feel like he was facing an elder, making him very uncomfortable and not daring to have any other thoughts.

"Alright." Walter said.

James continued to explain.

Jennifer, standing nearby, couldn't comprehend their words. Gradually, she ceased her attempts to follow the conversation and simply observed James in silence, discovering him increasingly handsome as time passed.
