Chapter 103 We Can Begin

Elizabeth hacked into the social media account of a famous influencer cultivated by Clark Entertainment. Most of his leaks were true, making him quite credible, so people trusted him, especially when he talked about competitors and artists from other companies.

A year ago, this account had exposed Emily as a homewrecker, complete with evidence. Elizabeth had been planning her counterattack for a while. Using this account to leak the truth would leave Clark Entertainment speechless. If their own tool backfired, they'd go nuts.

Besides hacking this account, Elizabeth also traced the accounts of hired trolls and accessed the computers of the company that hired them. She took screenshots of Clark Entertainment's records of smearing Emily and herself, along with their transfer records, and sent them to her email.

After all this, she went back to watching the live broadcast. Rebecca asked, "Should we release the evidence now? Things are getting heated online. Hired trolls and some fans are demanding Emily be kicked off the show. They're still spreading the homewrecker story. If this keeps up, can Anna handle the pressure?"

Elizabeth watched the live broadcast. Emily was almost isolated, but she stayed positive and upbeat. Elizabeth said, "Not yet. Let Emily change people's opinions first. When the hate peaks, we'll release the evidence."

Rebecca nodded, thinking of Emily's recent efforts. "You're right, you're always so steady."

Elizabeth smiled. "I've been in the entertainment industry for a long time."

They kept watching, and Herman and his team were ready, waiting for Elizabeth's command. Anna contacted Elizabeth, wanting a quick counterattack, but Elizabeth persuaded her to hold off. She suggested giving Emily more screen time.

The show's theme was extreme challenges. They went to a scenic spot for bungee jumping and walking on a cable bridge over a cliff, plus a glass bridge between two mountains. Anna had notified the guests to be mentally prepared, and if anyone couldn't handle it, they wouldn't be forced.

The guests were divided into groups of three. Emily was with a male and female guest. The female guest, from Clark Entertainment, targeted Emily and isolated her. While climbing the mountain, she even "accidentally" twisted her ankle, visibly swelling it up.

She pretended to try walking on the glass bridge, then covered her foot, teary-eyed, saying she couldn't do it.

The other two groups, even those afraid of heights, managed to cross. Emily, who had trained recently, walked across smoothly with the male guest, staying calm.

Next was the cliff cable bridge. The other groups, despite their fear, carefully crossed with the leader's help. The male guest in Emily's group didn't wait for her and went ahead. Emily, used to such behavior, didn't show any displeasure. She fastened her safety rope with the staff's help and followed, earning goodwill from the audience. Her fans were heartbroken but proud of her strength.

The final challenge was cliff bungee jumping. The other groups went first. Standing on the platform, most couldn't jump, even those not afraid of heights. Only one extreme sports enthusiast succeeded, though he screamed a lot.

The male guest in Emily's group tried but gave up. Now it was Emily's turn. She took a deep breath, recalling the past year and how Elizabeth and Rebecca had helped her overcome her fears. With their encouragement, she had taken that step before.

Elizabeth had told her it didn't matter if others gave up on her; she should never give up on herself. With their support, she couldn't let them down. She opened her eyes, not playing the victim but showing strength. She smiled and jumped, shouting, "Go for it, Emily!"

This stunned the director's team and the guests. Despite all the hate, Emily faced life with a smile, touching many viewers. People expected her to play the victim, but she didn't. She inspired many, reminding them of their own struggles. Some viewers even teared up, and Emily's fans flooded the comments with: [Go for it, Emily!]

Seeing this, other fans and viewers joined in. Elizabeth smiled, "I knew she could do it."

Life rewards those who are hardworking, sincere, and kind. Even if Emily had to leave the entertainment industry, Elizabeth believed she would stay positive and hardworking. She admired Emily's attitude toward life and work, not just to spite Richard.

Elizabeth sent a message to the operations team: "You can start now."
