Chapter 183 Why Are They So Difficult
Arnold didn't go to the restaurant to meet up with Kevin and Eugene.
Instead, he checked an app on his phone.
Seeing that a bar was hiring temporary singers, he took a cab there.
He wanted to drink and drown his sorrows, but he needed to earn some money first and then exchange it for alcohol.
Once he's drunk, he wouldn't have to think about anything, and the pain would fade away.
While Arnold went to the bar, Elizabeth and Nancy's groups went to the lighthouse by the beach to complete their tasks.
Elizabeth's group spent quite a bit of money enjoying all the entertainment options available around the lighthouse.
After finishing work and having dinner at the restaurant, Kevin and Eugene also completed their remaining tasks.
After their tasks were done, Kevin and Eugene stood at a distance, watching Elizabeth and her group having a great time.
Both of them were annoyed by Raymond, who was always sticking close to Elizabeth.
Eugene, feeling irritated, wanted to smoke and found an excuse to go to the breakroom, Kevin followed him.
In the designated smoking room, each of them lit a cigarette.
Eugene, with a dark expression, said, "Brenda played us all."
If it weren't for today's events, he wouldn't have known Brenda was so ruthless.
Kevin sighed deeply, and agreed,"Yeah!"
Today's event were completely beyond his expectations.
The image of Brenda as pure and obedient was completely shattered in his mind.
Then Kevin suddenly remembered something. He asked, "Hey, where's Arnold?"
"Haven't seen him," Eugene replied, he also realized that Arnold hadn't come to find them.
Arnold had just finished singing a few songs and was taking a break when Kevin called.

After hanging up, Kevin asked Eugene, "Do you want to drink because I want to drink now? I'm so annoyed!"
He was not only annoyed by Brenda's true nature but also by Elizabeth's increasing dislike for them.
Eugene, also feeling very irritated as well, said, "Sure!"
The two took a cab to the bar.
This time, the cameraman followed to live stream them.
At the bar, Arnold was drinking when he saw the two arrive, he waved them over. He advised them, "You guys go sing a few songs first, earn some money and then come drink. I can't afford to treat you."
Kevin and Eugene were speechless. They were really down and out.
Their resentment towards Raymond grew even more.

So, the two resigned themselves to singing a few songs, and all the money they earned was used to buy themselves a few drinks.
The money they earned working at the restaurant during the day couldn't be used; it had to be saved for the a night at the hotel.
The three of them didn't care about the live stream and sat drinking in silence.
Kevin looked at Arnold with concern, asking, "Arnold, your throat hasn't healed yet, and you're drinking again?"
Arnold's voice was already very hoarse as he spoke, "I don't care, I just want to drink now."
Kevin sighed helplessly, and said, "Suit yourself."
Although Arnold felt hurt, it was good that he could finally see Brenda's true nature.
Kevin was feeling pretty much the same way now.
The three of them drinking was being live-streamed.

Why was Brenda always causing trouble?
And who gave her the nerve to collude with a divination master to go against Elizabeth?
No matter how much Elizabeth fought with them, she was still her biological daughter.
She was very angry that Brenda had harmed and cursed Elizabeth.
