Chapter 303 This Is Really Embarrassing
The viewers watching the live stream were totally floored by the headline.
[OMG, Brenda's on another level, her moves are wild.]
[Dang, Brenda's got her hands full with all these dudes.]

[Including the five bad boys from the Clark Family and Eugene, it's over twenty.]

Then, a bunch of people hit up Arnold and the others on Facebook, asking how they felt about it.
At the Clark Family villa.
Arnold and Richard were staring at the headline, looking seriously pissed.
Arnold, with a scowl, said, "These people are nuts. We don't have that kind of thing with Brenda; why drag us into this?"
Richard shot him a look. "Didn't you also make headlines with Brenda because of those cozy pics? Haven't you heard the online gossip? People are calling us Brenda's pampered boyfriends."
Then he added, looking grim, "But it's super embarrassing; We were just talking about how she wouldn't do something like that. There's nothing she can't handle, just things we can't even imagine."
He was especially glad he'd turned down Brenda's advances before. Otherwise, he would have been utterly disgusted.
Arnold sighed, "It's really embarrassing. I used to think she was innocent, but after seeing her little schemes, I never thought she'd be this kind of person. She's got the nerve to always act so pure and innocent in front of us." In fact, she knew way more than he did.
He looked at Richard and asked, "Richard, have you had more partners than her?"
Richard was speechless. "Of course not. I have like one or two a year, never more than three. How many does she have? Don't compare me to her."
He truly conceded to Brenda's prowess; her methods were formidable, and he couldn't compare.
Arnold pointed upstairs, saying, "I wonder if Mom saw this, would she get even sicker?"
Richard said, "Definitely. After coming back from The Clark Villa this morning, Mom looked awful, she must've been scolded by Grandpa and Grandma in front of the other elders. She was so embarrassed before, and now, she probably won't go out for a while."
Arnold nodded. "That's true, not just Mom, I don't plan to go out anytime soon either."
When he went out to dinner with friends before, people kept teasing him about Brenda. And those who didn't get along with him kept making snide remarks about it.
Now Brenda and Enrique were making headlines, and today's sensational news, combined with the insistence of netizens to involve their brothers, meant that if they go out to socialize, people in their circle would undoubtedly bring it up.
It was terribly embarrassing; maybe he should avoid going out for a while.
Then he posted a message on social media saying he'd be resting and not to disturb him. And there were so many replies soon. They all asked if he had been deeply affected and wanted some peace, or inquired about his opinion on the news circulating online.
Arnold wasn't feeling totally defeated, but his face sure got darker. "Man, these people are so lame. Richard, how about we just bounce and go on a vacation abroad? I can't stand staying here right now; feels like everyone's laughing at us every time we step out."
Even though they never had anything shady with Brenda, and definitely no romantic feelings, nobody believed them, and explaining was a lost cause.
Richard was in the same boat. His phone was blowing up with notifications. Friends kept hitting him up, asking how he was holding up after the news. Some even had the nerve to ask what it was like to sleep with Brenda.
It pissed him off. He never slept with Brenda. They weren't a couple. His rep in his social circle was trashed. It was the first time he felt so wronged.
"Let's do it. I'll book the tickets now. Once the variety show wraps up and the news cools down, we'll come back," Richard said, pulling out his phone to book the tickets.
Both brothers were feeling the heat, and Betty, lying in bed, was on the verge of a meltdown from all the calls and messages from relatives and friends.
She never thought Brenda was like this outside. She was so different at home. And since it involved her sons, she felt super ashamed.
She called Paul and asked him to book an extra ticket for her for the afternoon. She wanted to go abroad with him to clear her head, as she was sick of hearing anything about Brenda and her sons.
Paul wasn't having a great time either. People were calling to ask if he knew about Brenda's shady behavior, and even those who didn't like him were bluntly asking if he had been involved with Brenda. They figured if his sons were like that, maybe he wasn't so respectable either.
It made Paul furious. No matter how indecent he was, he wouldn't touch Brenda. Besides, he was focused on his career, and apart from Betty, he never looked for other women. These accusations made him feel suffocated. So he booked tickets and planned to take Betty abroad.
As for Brenda, she couldn't stay any longer. After the variety show ended and Brenda came back, he would have Betty send Brenda away. He didn't care about the fortune teller behind Brenda. He was just too embarrassed. Brenda was such a troublemaker, always causing problems. It was better to send her away.
So, the Clark family couple went abroad, and Richard and Arnold also left the country. This left Loren alone to deal with the nosy relatives and friends. Everyone assumed he had something improper with Brenda, a situation Loren found impossible to defend.
Michelle even sent a WhatsApp message, saying how lucky she was to have broken off her engagement with Loren; otherwise, she'd be disgusted by his association with Brenda. Loren felt deeply wronged. There was nothing between him and Brenda, but no one believed him.
