Chapter 308 Not Only Will They Not Oppose, They Will Be Very Supportive

Raymond was caught off guard at first, but then he cracked up. He gave them both a friendly slap on the shoulders and said, "Let 'em be jealous; there's plenty more for them to envy. I can help you win in the game, and Elizabeth can help you win in the Soule ball competition."

These guys were big fans of Raymond, always tuning into his streams and shows. So naturally, they were into Elizabeth too, treating her like a goddess. Hearing Raymond say that, their eyes lit up, and they were like, "Winning with Elizabeth? People are gonna be so jealous of us."

They were stoked they came to play this time. Not only did they get to team up with Raymond, but they also had a shot at winning with Elizabeth. Just thinking about it made them giddy.

At the same time, they realized Raymond was totally into Elizabeth. He mentioned her in everything he did; it had to be true love!

And it wasn't just them who noticed; the folks in the live stream caught on too.

[Raymond's all about Elizabeth, he's totally whipped.]

[Before Elizabeth, Raymond was super charming. After Elizabeth, he's her biggest fan.]

[Listen to Raymond bragging like she's his wife.]

[Haha, Raymond's adorable. Elizabeth's awesome, and he's prouder of her than himself.]

[They're perfect together.]

Fans were even shouting for them to get together.

Over at the Gonzalez Family villa.

Every week, unless someone had work, the Gonzalez Family would gather at the villa to have a meal with Alan and Leah. They usually showed up around ten in the morning to hang out and chat.

In the middle of talking about work or family stuff, Alan suddenly said, "Raymond's on a live variety show. How about we turn it on and watch?"

Leah heard this and smiled, saying, "Yeah, let's watch."

She looked at her kids and grandkids and said, "Alan and I have been watching Raymond's live show; it's pretty entertaining."

They adored Raymond, the youngest and most charming. When he joined the live show, Leah didn't watch at first. But after hearing about Raymond's near-drowning incident, she got worried and decided to keep an eye on him by watching the show.

Who would've thought she'd get hooked?

After watching the last episode with her, Alan got into it too. Before the younger generation arrived, they were watching the live stream together.

The Gonzalez Family knew Raymond was their favorite grandson, so they were all in.

Raymond's parents were usually super busy and didn't have time for variety shows. But hearing their parents talk about watching Raymond's live stream, they got curious too. After all, Alan and Leah loved Raymond, and so did they.

The Gonzalez Family was tight-knit, no drama among the siblings, just a close bond. Everyone was fond of Raymond, the youngest grandson, so no one had any objections.

Watching as a family on a phone wasn't ideal, so they turned on the TV to watch together.

The live stream at that moment showed Raymond and the others looking for teammates. Then Raymond started hyping up Elizabeth.

Raymond's cousin, Lily Gonzalez, who was a year older than him, had been watching the show. Seeing him like this, she couldn't help but laugh and say, "I knew it; he's hyping up Elizabeth again."

Raymond's mom, Violet Hudson, curiously asked, "Why's he hyping up Elizabeth?"

Lily pointed to Elizabeth on the screen and explained, "This actress on their team, her name's Elizabeth. Raymond's really into her. He's always recommending her skills and praising her on the show."

Then she opened the live chat on her phone for them to see. Violet took the phone and looked at the various jokes and blessings from the fans in the chat. She was stunned, clearly surprised.

But she wasn't unfamiliar with the name Elizabeth. Elizabeth had saved Raymond, and Violet had wanted to visit and thank her. But Raymond said he'd handle it himself and told her not to go. So she didn't go personally.

She figured if Elizabeth ever needed help in the future, they'd totally have her back. Right then, she had a lightbulb moment as she stated, "No wonder Raymond didn't want me to thank Elizabeth, saying I'd freak her out. He had his own way of paying her back."

As a mom, she could totally see Raymond had a thing for Elizabeth. He'd never hyped anyone up like this before, especially with that proud look on his face.

It was the first time anyone had seen Raymond talk someone up like that. He'd had a short fuse since he was a kid, and it was rare for him to praise anyone.

Raymond's uncle, Andrew Gonzalez, asked, "Has Raymond fallen for Elizabeth?"

Raymond's parents were always swamped with work, so they entrusted Raymond's upbringing to the Gonzalez family at their villa. During that time, Andrew lived there too, so their bond was super tight. He always thought with Raymond's proud attitude, it'd be tough for him to find a girl he liked. He couldn't even picture Raymond with a girl. He figured Raymond wouldn't know how to treat a girl right, but this was a surprise.

Lily laughed and said, "I've watched every episode, and it's clear he's got strong feelings for Elizabeth. He's super into her. He's always looking out for her, going out of his way to make her happy, acting totally different from his usual self."

Then she added, "But Elizabeth is really awesome, and her personality clicks with Raymond's."

She was a big fan of Elizabeth. But in front of the elders, she had to keep it cool.

Alan laughed and said, "Raymond's changed a lot since he joined this show. I saw in this episode, he wasn't on the same team as Elizabeth and worked as a store clerk selling clothes. He did great. I think Elizabeth is a fantastic girl. She's grounded, confident, and fiercely independent, perfect for our Raymond."

Raymond's bad temper was something only they could handle at home. Now it seemed Elizabeth could handle him too, which was awesome.

Leah also laughed and said, "I really like Elizabeth after watching three episodes. I love her no-nonsense attitude."

She looked at Violet and said, "If Raymond goes after Elizabeth, you better not interfere or stop him."

Raymond's dad, Benjamin Gonzalez, a distinguished and commanding guy who looked like he was in his forties but was actually pushing fifty, chimed in, "Mom, our family's never required our kids to marry someone of equal status. So as long as Raymond likes her, we won't interfere or oppose. Besides, if Raymond wants something, opposing it won't change a thing."

Not only did Alan and Leah spoil Raymond, but Benjamin and Violet also pampered him, which made him a bit of a handful.

Violet, a graceful and smart woman, smiled and said, "Yeah, as long as Raymond likes her. And you all think highly of her, she must be great."

With gentle eyes, she looked at Elizabeth on the live stream and added, "I like this Elizabeth too. She's beautiful and straightforward. I can't wait for Raymond to win her over and bring her home."

They'd never meddled in the love lives of their other three kids, let alone Raymond.

She used to worry that Raymond's personality would make it hard for him to find a girlfriend. Now seeing that Raymond had a shot at finding someone, she wouldn't just not oppose it, she'd fully support it. Their family didn't care about background, as long as the person's character was good.

Leah smiled and said, "Yeah, I can't wait either."

Seeing Alan and Leah like Elizabeth so much, the Gonzalez Family was a bit surprised. They'd never expressed any opinions about the younger generation finding girlfriends before.

It seemed Elizabeth was really liked by Alan and Leah.

Then the whole family stopped chatting and focused on the live stream. They wanted to see what kind of person Elizabeth was, who could change Raymond and make him like her.
