In his office, Richard frowned. "Wasn't Daniel's show a no-go?"

Richard was surprised. "Who would be dumb enough to double the investment?"
He wasn't keen on the show, so he hadn't let the semi-famous actress he managed take the third female lead role.
He remembered the show because Elizabeth liked the third female lead.
If the funding hadn't been cut, he would've secured the role for Elizabeth.
Steven had already done some digging. "I heard it's a new studio."
He added angrily, "Richard, that investor even said they don't want any artists from Clark Entertainment, so Daniel sent back two of our artists."
"If it weren't for the experience, I wouldn't have considered this lousy show." He tried to provoke Richard. "They dare to insult Clark Entertainment? Isn't that disrespecting you?"
Richard didn't care about the two minor artists being returned.
But Steven's last words, even though he knew they were meant to provoke, still annoyed him.
He sneered, "Who’s so arrogant?"
Steven said, "I haven't found out yet."
"Hmph, let's watch this fool lose money, then we'll mock them to their face." Richard squinted. "From now on, if Daniel wants any of our artists, we'll reject them. No more investments either."
Steven felt a bit relieved. "That's the way to go."

"Then I'll release evidence proving Emily was framed, showing that those two are the real bad guys. This will not only clear Emily's name but also show that Anna made the right choice. It will boost the show's popularity and attention." She let out her plan.
Arthur, who had been worried, smiled. "If that's the case, I believe Anna won't refuse. I'll call her and get back to you."
Elizabeth said, "Okay, thank you, Arthur."
