Chapter 141 You Have No Shame
Loren and Richard decided to frame Arnold.
Loren hung up and suggested what they had decided on the phone to a major shareholder.
Arnold had shares in the entertainment company, making him a minor shareholder.
The major shareholder thought Arnold indeed had this responsibility to handle it, so he approached him.
Arnold didn't oppose; he agreed.
He was looking for an excuse to talk to Elizabeth during the variety show.
Now he had one.
When Loren and Richard found out, they sighed, calling Arnold foolish.
Arnold was so foolish they felt no sense of accomplishment.
The next day, Elizabeth and Gilbert got into the production team's car to head to the airport for the second episode of the live variety show.
Thanks to Clark Entertainment's investment, the show was set in Veridiania this time.
All the stars would meet at the airport and fly together.
Elizabeth and Gilbert were the first to arrive at the VIP lounge.
Next were Nancy and Ronald, and they greeted each other.
Then Raymond came in with another temporary guest.
Seeing Elizabeth, Raymond's eyes lit up. "Elizabeth, what a coincidence, we both brought temporary guests today."
He brought a male artist from the company, Marlon Hughes.
Marlon had a show airing soon, and his participation was to attract attention.
Marlon and Raymond didn't share the same agent; the company asked Raymond to look after Marlon.
Seeing Raymond, Elizabeth smiled. "Yes, what a coincidence!"
There were two empty seats next to her. "Come over and sit."
Raymond immediately brought Marlon over.
Then Raymond leaned towards Elizabeth and started chatting.
They were talking and laughing, surprising Gilbert and Marlon.
They had heard Raymond was arrogant and flamboyant.
They didn't expect him to be like this in private.
A few minutes later, Eugene walked in alone, dragging a suitcase.
As soon as he entered, his eyes fell on Elizabeth, filled with deep affection.
Seeing Elizabeth and Raymond talking and laughing, he felt jealous.
Elizabeth noticed Eugene's gaze but ignored it.
Raymond looked up at Eugene. "Eugene, why are you looking at me like that?"
He then said, "I'm only into girls."
Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh.
With Raymond around, it was never boring.
The others also stifled their laughter.
Eugene's face darkened. "You're overthinking it."
Raymond was still so bad.
Raymond didn't let him off. "Why did you come alone today, Eugene? Where's Brenda?"
Eugene's face turned even darker. "I have nothing to do with her. If you like her, ask the director for her number and call her yourself."
He was definitely doing it on purpose.
Raymond laughed, "Sorry, I don't like Brenda; I don't have such unique taste."
Eugene coldly looked at Raymond. "Can you stop talking?"
Raymond shrugged. "No."
The tension between the two was palpable, surprising Gilbert and Marlon.
Raymond and Eugene's straightforward argument was thrilling.
At that moment, Kevin, Brenda, and Arnold walked in.
Raymond said to Eugene, "Your teammate is here."
If it weren't for the wrong timing, Eugene would have wanted to punch Raymond.
He said meaningfully, "Who knows what the rules are for this episode."
He wanted to team up with Elizabeth this time.
Brenda heard Eugene's words, smiled on the outside but felt uncomfortable inside.
'What does Eugene mean? He doesn't want to team up with us? Hmph, no matter what, I'll make sure to team up with him again this time,' Brenda thought.
She wanted to restore her good relationship with Eugene, or even take it further.
Today, Brenda wore a white shirt and knee-length shorts, showing off her straight legs.
She greeted everyone with a sweet smile.
Elizabeth ignored her.
Raymond did the same, not even glancing at Brenda.
Eugene sat down expressionlessly.

Marlon smiled but didn't speak.

She felt even more aggrieved; these people were too much, all targeting her.
Kevin understood the situation, knowing he wasn't liked, so he dragged his suitcase to find an empty seat and sat down.
He even picked up his phone and made a video call to Richard.
This was Richard's instruction.
Seeing this, Brenda also sat down next to him.
The live broadcast would start only after they reached the destination, so although there were program staff around, the cameras weren't rolling yet.
Arnold had no reservations.
He walked up to Elizabeth and said to Raymond, "I have something to discuss with Elizabeth, could you please switch seats?"
Raymond was taken aback.
Then he showed a disdainful look at Arnold. "Who are you?"
Although Arnold had no interaction with Raymond, he knew this famous, willful, and arrogant figure in the entertainment industry.
He frowned and said, "I'm Arnold, also Elizabeth's brother."
Hearing this, Raymond burst into laughter.
He raised an eyebrow at Arnold. "You have some nerve."
He turned to Elizabeth and asked knowingly, "Is he your brother? I haven't heard of that!"
Elizabeth replied, "No, I don't know him."
Raymond flashed a bright smile and said, "I thought so. He looks so ugly, and you look so good. How could he be your brother?"
Elizabeth gave him an appreciative smile. "You have a good eye."
Raymond boasted. "Of course, I'm known for having a good eye."
Arnold, feeling ignored and insulted, looked a bit upset.
"Elizabeth, it's hasn't been that long, and you don't even recognize me?" he said.
He always thought Elizabeth was just throwing a tantrum.
He had taken the initiative to talk to her, so why was she still acting like this?
Elizabeth looked at him inexplicably. "Who are you? You really have some nerve, coming here and claiming I'm your sister."
She rolled her eyes at him. "Please don't try to capitalize on my fame and seek public attention."
Arnold's eyes widened, clearly not expecting Elizabeth to say such sarcastic and harsh words to him in public.
He laughed angrily, "I capitalize on your fame? Do you think I need to?"
He was a powerful singer, also one of the most popular stars in the entertainment industry.
Capitalize on Elizabeth's fame? What a joke.
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "If you're not seeking public attention, then why are you here? Trying to show us how how thick your skin and how ugly your face is?"
Arnold's face turned black instantly. "You!"
Elizabeth, disdainful and blunt, said, "If you're not seeking public attention, then go away, don't come near me!"
Arnold was the dumbest.
From his posture, she knew he wanted to lecture her.
