Eugene got hit for the first time by his younger sister, Rebecca.
Initially stunned, Eugene eventually gathered himself and seized her wrist. "Seriously, Rebecca? What's gotten into you?"
Rebecca, thwarted in her attempts to land more hits, sulked. "I was just getting started!"
An awkward silence settled as onlookers struggled to conceal their laughter.
Eugene's expression grew stern. "Rebecca, cut it out. This isn't a joke."
He added, "And remember, she's your mom too."
With so many people around, if word got out, their parents would definitely have an issue with Rebecca.
Rebecca rolled her eyes. "She's Percy Baker's real mom; what does that have to do with me? Only you would be dumb enough to get involved."
The more she spoke, the darker Eugene's face got. "Shut up."
He pulled Rebecca closer and whispered, "Watch what you say in public."
Rebecca pouted. "I don't care, what are you afraid of? If you want to keep begging for her favor, don't drag me into it. I'm not playing along."
Eugene was at a loss with Rebecca. "Come home with me later."
Rebecca shook her head wildly. "No, I'm going to Elizabeth's house."
Eugene forcefully said, "No way."
Then he held onto her wrist. "You must come home with me."
Rebecca had been abroad for so long and hadn't come back even once.
During the holidays, the elders at home had mentioned it with a tone of reproach.
He had made excuses for her.
Now, if it became known that Rebecca had returned but had not gone home, those people would have more to say.
Rebecca struggled to shake off his hand. "I said I'm not going back."
She couldn't shake him off and glared at Eugene, saying, "Let go of me, or I'll scream."

After leaving the airport, Elizabeth let Rebecca get into the program's car and left.

She clicked on the first one.
Rebecca's scolding and beating of Eugene had been fully recorded, including her comments about their stepmother, Amy King.
People in the comments were cheering Rebecca on, calling her cool.
There were also confirmations of Eugene's cheating, as Rebecca's actions seemed to prove it.
Elizabeth showed the phone to Rebecca. "You're on the headlines. Your family might come after you for what you said."
Elizabeth, being close to Eugene and Rebecca, knew the Baker family's situation well.
Currently, the head of the Baker family was Eugene's father, Orlando Baker, the third son in his generation.
Orlando had two older brothers.
He had defeated his two brothers to take over the Baker company.

Rebecca knew that Elizabeth had deep feelings for Eugene.

Elizabeth laughed. "You were pretty cool today too."
Rebecca said proudly, "Of course, he cheated, so he deserved to be beaten."
Elizabeth asked, "How long are you planning to stay this time?"
Rebecca replied, "This time, I'm not leaving."
Elizabeth was stunned and looked at her. "Is Hubert coming back?"
Rebecca's eyes darkened. "No, he probably won't be back for a while."
