Chapter 11

Elizabeth looked at Arthur and said, "Arthur, did you forget to bring bedding earlier?"

"At this point, even if we try to find something or help out, it's too late to trade with the villagers."

"And their homes might not have enough spare bedding to trade with us."

This village was in the mountains, and the villagers likely only had enough bedding for their own use, making it improbable that they would have extra to trade.

Except for Kevin and Brenda, the other guests all agreed with Elizabeth.

Asking them to find someone to trade with was unrealistic, so they had to ask the production team.

Eugene spoke up, "Elizabeth voiced what we all feel."

He wanted to get on Elizabeth's good side, but she didn't even glance at him.

This made Eugene very uncomfortable.

Raymond also said, "Arthur, our request isn't unreasonable. Just give each of us a set of bedding."

Then, as if remembering something, he added, "No, wait, Kevin and Brenda don't need it. Just prepare for six people."

Kevin didn't expect Raymond to be so annoying, always targeting them.

He sneered, "Why shouldn't we get any bedding?"

Raymond raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you say earlier that you could handle it and would follow Arthur's arrangements?"

"After showing how tough and hardworking you are, now you want the same thing as everyone else?"

"The speed of this change is truly astonishing!"

His words clearly mocked Kevin and Brenda for being shameless, leaving them unable to argue back.

Kevin, unable to outtalk Raymond, turned to Arthur and said, "You guys in the production team decide."

Arthur thought to himself that it was a good thing he agreed to have Kevin and Brenda as special guests. The first day's conflict was already so intense; the premiere wouldn't lack topics.

He smiled and said, "Of course, we can give it to you."

Then he changed his tone, "But we can't just give it for free. After all, you have to start from scratch."

"If we provide everything for free, it wouldn't fit the theme."

Eugene asked, "Then what do we have to do to get it?"

Arthur replied with a smile, "How about this: Each of you provides a dish tonight for our production staff to eat?"

"Then we'll give each of you a set of bedding."

Eugene thought for a moment and asked, "Does it have to be homemade, or can it be made by someone else?"

He added, "I'm afraid if I cook it myself, you might end up in the hospital."

Arthur couldn't help but laugh. "In that case, just provide a ready-made dish."

It meant that it didn't have to be homemade.

"We've got kitchen utensils and seasonings in the kitchen, but we don't provide bread, flour, meat, or vegetables."

He checked the time, "It's a little past two in the afternoon now, so you still have time to find them."

The guests knew that not providing bedding was a trap set by the production team.

Then Arthur said, "There are only four rooms in the yard, so two guests will need to share a room."

"Do you want to pair up freely or draw lots?"

Raymond spoke up first, "Let's pair up freely. I don't want to share a room with someone troublesome."

After speaking, he deliberately glanced at Kevin.

Kevin sneered, "I don't know who the troublesome one is. I don't want to share a room with you either."

Raymond replied, "Good, you don't want to!"

Arthur was pleasantly surprised by the situation. At the start of the show, the two most popular stars were already at odds, providing plenty of talking points!

Raymond looked at Ronald. "How about we share a room?"

He didn't particularly like Eugene and chose Ronald based on his gut feeling.

Ronald naturally didn't refuse and smiled. "No problem."

Kevin knew Eugene and was inclined to share a room with him.

"Eugene, shall we share a room?"

Eugene nodded. "Sure!"

On the female side, Lisa proactively said to Brenda, "Brenda, shall we share a room?"

Brenda knew Lisa had intentions toward Kevin, which she despised and disliked. However, compared to the annoying Elizabeth and the unfamiliar Nancy, she preferred sharing a room with Lisa. At least Lisa always flattered her and wasn't very smart, making her easy to handle.

So she sweetly smiled and nodded. "Okay!"

On the other side, Nancy breathed a sigh of relief, as she didn't want to share a room with those two. She looked at Elizabeth and smiled. "Shall we share a room?"

Elizabeth nodded. "Sure!"

Then, it was time to choose rooms. Elizabeth and Nancy didn't care which room they got and let the others choose first.

Kevin suggested that Brenda and Lisa choose first. The two pretended to decline but chose a room near the living room after Eugene also urged them to choose first.

The male guests then let Elizabeth and Nancy have the other room near the living room, which they accepted.

Raymond quickly chose the room near the yard gate, leaving the one next to the kitchen for Kevin and Eugene.

Kevin, who was a bit slow in choosing a room, was particularly unhappy.
