Chapter 113 As Expected of You

Elizabeth and Rebecca left the bar and headed to their car. Both had been drinking, so driving was out of the question. Rebecca called for a designated driver, who'd be there in about ten minutes.

Rubbing her wrist, Rebecca grinned, "Finally got that anger out today."

Beating up those two felt really satisfying for her.

Elizabeth chuckled, "Absolutely."

She also felt quite relieved after hitting Richard and Brenda.

"I'll take care of the evidence," Elizabeth said, pulling out her phone. She hacked into the bar's surveillance system and deleted the footage of them hitting people, Rebecca taking photos, and some clips after they left. She seamlessly connected the remaining footage, slowing down the time-lapse to make it look normal. Even a pro wouldn't spot the edits.

Rebecca, knowing Elizabeth's top-notch hacking skills, was amazed at how flawless the edited video looked. Elizabeth even edited Hubert's face, making him carried his current injuries when he first entered the club in the footage. She also deleted the part where Richard was helped back to the sofa, and made it seem like they just got up and left.

"Are you worried they'll use the surveillance against us?" Rebecca asked.

Elizabeth replied, "Those kicks I gave Richard will hurt for a while. He loves his reputation and won't admit I hit him, but Brenda will, pretending to care for him. She might use the surveillance to complain to the Clark family. I'm not afraid of her complaining, but I don't want trouble. She could report us and edit the footage to make me look ruthless. Hitting people could hurt our reputation, so it's best to erase it."

She added, "Although Richard wouldn't tell the public about today, he might copy the footage to threaten me about reporting us. He's the most scheming and ruthless among his brothers, always plotting something."

If Richard reported it, they'd have to face some consequences and negative online buzz. Elizabeth wasn't about to leave them any leverage.

Rebecca nodded. "You're right, Elizabeth. Better not leave any evidence."

Richard and Hubert wouldn't want the news of their beating to get out—it'd be too embarrassing. But they could use it to threaten them. Even though they weren't scared, it would still be a hassle.

Brenda and Angela seemed nice but were actually very malicious. After getting beaten, they'd definitely want revenge. Using the surveillance video was one way.

Rebecca grinned, "I bet they'll be furious when they see the edited footage."

Elizabeth smirked. "Oh, they will be. Not only will they be mad, they would also feel the pain again in their head."

She leaned in and whispered, "Hubert and Angela will also feel pain where they were hit for ten days to half a month. They're in for a rough time."

Just hitting them wasn't enough. Elizabeth had channeled a bit of evil energy into their bodies before the beating. The energy would dissipate soon but would make the pain linger and intensify. No hospital or psychic would find anything wrong.

Rebecca's eyes lit up, and she gave Elizabeth a thumbs up. "You're amazing."

Soon, the designated driver arrived, and they headed home.

Meanwhile, after Elizabeth and Rebecca left, Richard's friends finally helped him up. His stomach and chest were in severe pain. As he was helped back to the sofa, he snapped out of the shock of being kicked so hard by Elizabeth. She was ruthless.

If it weren't him being hit, he might have praised her skills. But since it was him, he felt both aggrieved and humiliated. Being beaten by Elizabeth in front of his friends was a first in elite circles. Embarrassing, truly embarrassing.

Brenda's face had been slapped several times by Elizabeth, and it was burning with pain. As soon as Richard sat down, she threw herself into his arms, crying, "Richard, my face hurts so much from Elizabeth's slaps!"

"Ouch!" Richard's chest was already hurting, and her throwing herself at him made it worse. He pushed Brenda away.

Seeing her hurt expression and disbelief, he felt even more irritated. Brenda was too fragile, always needing protection. But he had loved her for years, so he endured his impatience.

"My chest hurts a lot. Your face doesn't look swollen, but if it hurts, I'll have someone bring some ice for you?"

Even talking made his chest hurt, and his stomach was cramping with pain, making him more irritable.

Brenda was stunned. She took out a mirror and looked at her face. It was still smooth, no swelling or handprints. She was confused. Elizabeth's slaps had been heavy, and her face was burning with pain. She thought there'd be handprints and swelling, which, though embarrassing, could be used as evidence to complain at home. It could also be used to report Elizabeth and get her detained, and post a video online to show how rude Elizabeth was. If she could get Elizabeth detained, Elizabeth wouldn't be able to attend next week's show.

But how could her face have no marks at all? How was that possible?
