Chapter 130 Is That Really the Case?
Richard and Hubert suddenly stopped feeling pain.
Everyone was stunned.
Brenda and Angela instinctively looked at Dominic after hearing Hubert.
Was it true?
Did they harm themselves?
Even Dominic was shocked.
He could see the two men were genuinely relieved.
Their pain was gone, and they seemed more energetic.
It had to be Elizabeth's doing.
Shouldn't a curse cast together be lifted together?
Why only lift it for Richard and Hubert?
If it were him, he could only lift it for the four of them at the same time.
Were they mistaken earlier?
Something felt off!
Dominic grew more wary of Elizabeth.
He said, "Impossible, my method resolves the curse without side effects. It must be the person who cast the curse, lifting it for only two and leaving the other two."
Whether it had been his fault or not, it was now all Elizabeth's fault.
Richard was no longer in pain, and Paul, who already suspected Brenda, cared even less.
He sighed, "What should we do then?"
Enrique, hearing their conversation, thought Elizabeth was too much. She deliberately let Brenda continue to suffer.
"Then let's resolve it. Richard is no longer in pain, he can help by giving some blood."
He looked at Richard and said, "Richard, you don't want to see Brenda in pain, do you?"
Richard now wanted to kill this stupid Enrique.
"I think you're out of your mind. I've already been relieved automatically, so my blood is useless now. This still needs Dominic and Mr. Romero to find a solution."
He endured the pain without resolving it before, now that he was no longer in pain, he'd be crazy to give blood now.
Once they got back, he would definitely deal with Enrique properly. He wasn't just stupid; he was harming him.
Dominic felt a headche as Richard kept refusing donating his blood.. "Even though you're no longer in pain, because you were cursed before, they still need your blood to resolve it."
He also wanted to take the opportunity to get Hubert's blood.
Unfortunately, Hubert wasn't falling for it and was also stopping Richard from giving blood.
Richard immediately shook his head. "Then there's nothing I can do."
He turned to Hubert and asked, "Didn't you say you had something to discuss with Eugene?"
They wanted to leave now.
Hubert looked at his watch and smiled, "I almost forgot, we have an appointment with him soon. Let's head over now."
Richard nodded, "Right, we're going to be late, and Eugene won't be happy."
He then said to Paul, "Dad, Hubert and I have to meet Eugene, so we'll leave first."
Paul noticed that Richard had finally become smart again.
He smiled and waved. "You two go quickly, don't keep Eugene waiting."
Then the two masters, Brenda, and Angela watched them leave.
Brenda was furious. Richard really didn't care about her.
And Hubert wasn't a good person either.
If it weren't for him talking on the side, Richard wouldn't have acted this way.
Enrique and Arnold didn't expect Richard to just leave Brenda and run off.
That was too much.
They wanted to speak but were silenced by a warning look from Paul.
They swallowed their words.
Richard had already left, and it was too late to say anything now.
They cursed inwardly, 'Leaving two girls behind, Richard and Hubert are really not good people.'
"Ah!" Brenda's face pain got worse, and she cried out.
Angela was the same, holding her face and crying, "It hurts, it hurts so much."
Enrique quickly went to hold Brenda. "Brenda, are you okay?"
Brenda instinctively leaned into his arms. "Enrique, my face hurts so much, it's doubled from before."
Enrique stroked her face, trying to comfort her, "Don't cry, we'll find a way."
Paul was furious seeing them like this.
"Enrique, let go of her, what do you two look like right now?"
They behaved like a couple; it was outrageous.
Brenda remembered Paul was there.
She quickly pulled away from Enrique's embrace, hugging herself and squatting on the ground crying.
She was weak, pitiful, and helpless.
Arnold couldn't bear it and said to Paul, "Dad, Brenda is in so much pain, we can't just ignore it, can we?"
Paul glanced at him. "Richard and Hubert have left, how can we help?"
It was good that they left.
Arnold paused, cursing the two in his heart again.
He thought for a moment and said to Alfonso, "Mr. Romero, please help us and lend my sister the divination artifact. We will definitely compensate you."
Alfonso was very frustrated.
Things were not going as they had planned and were completely out of control.
Seeing Brenda trembling in pain, Alfonso hesitated.
But he had just said he couldn't lend it, and now if he did, wouldn't that be contradictory?
Dominic saw Alfonso hesitating and cursed him inwardly for being stupid.
If he lent it now, wouldn't that show they had a problem?
He immediately stepped forward and said, "I'm really sorry, but it's our rule, we can't break it."
Alfonso, hearing this, also realized and said, "Yes, sorry, I can't lend it."
But because of his hesitation, Paul's suspicion grew.
If it weren't for Dominic jumping in, it seemed Alfonso was willing to lend the divination artifact to Brenda and Angela.
It seemed he needed to continue investigating the relationship between Brenda and these two divination masters.
Previously, the secretary investigated Alfonso, this time it would be Dominic.
Brenda was on the verge of collapse. "What should I do? I can't take it anymore, I really can't."
Elizabeth must have done this on purpose, she hated her so much!
She would never let Elizabeth off.
Dominic was in a foul mood, today's plan was a complete failure.
But he couldn't let Brenda and Angela continue to suffer.
He thought for a moment and suggested, "Actually, any divination artifact can help them."
He emphasized, "You can ask someone you know, especially those who like to collect antiques. Borrow a divination artifact from them and wear it for ten days to half a month. If you encounter a divination artifact with strong power, it might be even better than Alfonso's bracelet. It can not only relieve the pain but might even stop it altogether."
This reminded Brenda. "Amy likes to collect antiques, I'll ask her."
She also realized that these two divination masters wouldn't lend her divination artifacts.
She cursed inwardly, 'The person who found these two divination masters was really unreliable.'
Not only did they not help today, but they also made her pain worse.
In the end, she had to borrow a divination artifact herself to suppress it, how ridiculous.
And they couldn't even deal with Elizabeth, yet claimed to be senior and powerful divination masters.
They were clearly two useless people.
