Chapter 322 So I'm Helping You Vent Your Anger!

Seeing a few folks show up, Brenda's face twisted. What the heck are they doing here?

Ever since she landed at the Clark Family's place, the Bishop couple had been ice-cold to her, thinking she wasn't really one of them. Bet they're here to pin the blame on her now!

Enrique and Kevin were just as shocked, blurting out, "Grandpa, Grandma, what brings you here?"

Bishop had already grilled the doc about Enrique's condition. With a stern look, he snapped, "You two have made such a mess, dragging the Clark Family's name through the mud, and you can't even fix it. If we don't step in, who will clean up this disaster?"

The door had been cracked open, so they caught most of the convo inside. He shot a furious glance at Enrique, saying, "I really don't know how the Clark Family ended up with a fool like you."

Enrique hesitated. "I got tricked before."

Bishop scoffed, "You idiot, and you blame others for it."

Then he turned to Edward and ordered, "Head to the Aevum City Divination Association and report Brenda for using some evil Spellscroll to hurt others. Take her there too."

Edward nodded. "Got it, Dad!"

Then he had the bodyguards grab Brenda and drag her out. Brenda fought back, yelling, "No, you can't do this. Grandpa, you've got it all wrong, I didn't hurt Enrique, I..."

Bishop glared at Brenda with disgust and cut her off, "Don't call me Grandpa, I'm not your Grandpa."

Seeing Bishop's cold and ruthless vibe, Brenda could only cry and look at Enrique and Kevin. She screamed, "Enrique, Kevin, I don't wanna go to the Divination Association and suffer. Please beg Bishop not to send me there, please!"

Before Enrique and Kevin could say anything, Bishop frowned and barked, "Gag her and take her away!"

Following his order, a tall bodyguard covered Brenda's mouth. Then they dragged her out of the room.

The ward fell silent.

Bishop looked at his two grandsons and said, "Handle things more decisively. Why waste so many words with her? Hasn't she already caused you enough trouble?"

Enrique and Kevin shrank back and quickly replied, "Yes, Grandpa."

They weren't close to Bishop, but they were always scared of him.

Bishop glanced at the others in the room, his stern face softened, and he gave an apologetic smile, saying, "Sorry for the drama."

Everyone could see Bishop was a man of action. The group exchanged polite smiles and then made their exit. Bishop had family stuff to handle and didn't hold anyone back.

But when he saw Elizabeth about to leave with the others, he called out, "Elizabeth, can you and Zachary hang back for a few minutes?"

He spoke to Elizabeth in that tone because he knew her well; she had cut ties with the Clark Family, and it was clear she'd do the same with him as her grandpa. Knowing this, he didn't try to guilt-trip her with family bonds. Inwardly, he cursed Paul and Betty.

Elizabeth turned to Zachary and asked, "What do you think?"

Zachary shrugged. "It's your call."

His message was clear: if you stay, I stay; if you go, I go.

Elizabeth thought for a moment and told Raymond and the others to head back first.

Once they left, she looked at Bishop and asked, "What do you want to say?"

Elizabeth didn't have much love for Bishop and Samantha, but she didn't hate them either. After being acknowledged by the Clark Family, they treated her decently. In contrast, they were colder to Brenda because they valued bloodlines.

Growing up outside and with the Bishop couple living at The Clark Villa, she rarely visited, so their relationship stayed distant. Plus, the Clark Family's tradition was to focus on heirs, leaving other kids, especially grandkids, mostly ignored.

But she had to admit, Bishop's personality was at least more straightforward than the rest of the Clark Family; he wasn't as fake. When she cut ties with the Clark Family, the Bishop couple tried to convince her to stay.

Getting her firm stance and knowing Paul was in the wrong, they didn't push her. They just said if she ever wanted to come back to the Clark Family, she'd always be welcome, and if she needed help, she could reach out. But she turned them down. So, they wisely didn't bother her further.

Hearing her address him as such, Bishop got the hint about Elizabeth's attitude.

He sighed and said, "Enrique, that idiot, got himself into this mess. Even though he deserves it, we're worried something might happen to him later. So we wanted to ask if you have any way to help him get through this tough time? Of course, we'll pay whatever you need."

Talking business with Elizabeth made Bishop feel a bit awkward, but he couldn't just leave Enrique hanging.

Elizabeth shrugged and said bluntly, "I really can't stand them. So even if I had a way, I wouldn't help."

She had tried to warn and stop her troublesome brothers from giving Brenda the Generational Blessings. It wasn't because she still had feelings for them. It was simply because she was afraid they would foolishly give Brenda the Generational Blessings, causing her more trouble.

They brought this upon themselves, and it was already good enough that she didn't make things worse for them. She wouldn't care or help them.

Enrique and Kevin looked at Elizabeth in disbelief; she was really ruthless! But at this point, they had no right to blame her.

Bishop wasn't surprised. Elizabeth was more like a member of the Clark Family than these foolish grandsons. She was remarkably decisive, though it was a pity.

Bishop knew Elizabeth wouldn't help. So his real target was Zachary. He then politely said, "Zachary, you mentioned before that you could forcibly resolve Enrique's issue. Is that still possible now?"

Zachary replied meaningfully, "That depends on whether Enrique is willing to let go."

Bishop looked at Enrique and asked, "Are you willing now?"

If Enrique still hesitated and worried about what would happen to Brenda after the resolution, then Bishop would give up on him. From then on, whether Enrique lived or died, he wouldn't care.

Enrique could tell that if he said he wasn't willing, Bishop would leave immediately. This time, he didn't hesitate, uttering, "She has harmed me multiple times, so of course, I won't hesitate anymore."

As for what consequences Brenda eventually faced, it was no longer his concern. The harsher she was towards him, the harsher the backlash she would face; it was her own doing, and she should bear the outcome.Bishop was satisfied with his response and nodded. Fortunately, Enrique wasn't beyond saving.

He then looked at Zachary, inquiring, "Zachary, now that he's on board, so when can you help resolve this?"

Zachary smiled faintly, answering, "Before, he wasn't up for it, but right now I'm tied up. I'll help when I have time."

This left Bishop and Enrique speechless. But they couldn't do anything about it since only Zachary could help Enrique now.

Bishop still smiled as he said, "Alright, we'll wait until you have time, and then we'll ask for your help. But his bracelet that suppressed bad luck is broken. Will he continue to be unlucky?"

Zachary nodded as he replied, "Of course."

Bishop asked, "Is there any way to temporarily suppress his bad luck? He's already injured like this, and if he continues to be unlucky, who knows if he can survive."

Having to grovel to Enrique at his age was truly tough for him. Paul and Betty were to blame for Enrique's rough upbringing. When they got back, he would have a word with them.Zachary looked at Elizabeth, uttering, "You won't help, but you can give them some advice."

He wouldn't give Enrique anything to ward off disasters. Enrique didn't deserve it and wasn't fated for it. Elizabeth had thrown the problem to him before, so now he was throwing it back.

Elizabeth realized that Zachary was indeed spiteful.

She thought for a moment and said to Bishop, "Enrique was harmed by Brenda in collaboration with a divination master. So I think you should go to the Divination Association and ask them to help suppress his bad luck. This is within the scope of the Divination Association's responsibilities. If they don't help, then you can complain to the special department. With so many powerful people in those two places, I'm sure someone can help Enrique."

What she desired was for the Clark Family to create a storm, and then to observe the Divination Society and the special department's stance, as well as whether those backing Brenda would choose to protect her.

Bishop understood Elizabeth's intention. She was kicking the problem to the Divination Association and the special department, making the Clark Family fight for a resolution. He sighed again, regretting that Elizabeth had left the Clark Family.

He nodded. "Alright!"

For Enrique and to uncover the people plotting against the Clark Family, he had no choice but to accept.

Then Elizabeth and Zachary took their leave.

After leaving the room, Elizabeth smiled at Zachary, inquiring, "Are you reluctant to deal with Brenda?"

Zachary raised an eyebrow, replying, "Aren't I helping you?"

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow too. "Helping me?"

Zachary said, "You dislike him, don't you? Then let him experience more bad luck before slowly resolving it. So I'm helping you vent your anger!"

Elizabeth was speechless. He really had a way with words!
