Chapter 321 This Move Is Quite Ruthless
This scene had everyone floored. They were all thinking, "Man, Enrique's really got it rough. He's already down on his luck, and Brenda's still messing with him."
Brenda, of course, wasn't about to own up to anything. She shook her head like crazy and said, "No way, this is just a protective Spellscroll. Someone gave it to me, said it would keep me safe. Yeah, no way she was gonna admit it. She couldn't afford to.
Elizabeth knew Brenda would deny it. So she turned to Zachary and said, "Zachary, why don't you check it out for Enrique? Is that pendant really a protective Spellscroll, or is it a Generational Blessing sucker?"
Zachary gave Elizabeth a long look. It was like she had him figured out.
"Alright," he said. Then he told Kevin, "Go grab the pendant."
Kevin did as he was told and took the pendant off Enrique's neck. Just as he was about to hand it to Zachary, he heard him say, "Flip it over and see if there's some tiny text on it. It should have Enrique's name and birth date."
Kevin paused, flipped the pendant, and sure enough, there was a line of tiny text with Enrique's name and some numbers.
He didn't know Enrique's birth date, so he walked over to Enrique's bedside, leaned down, and whispered the numbers in his ear, "Enrique, is this your birth date?" Since it was being live-streamed, he kept it low.
Enrique was stunned for a moment, took a deep breath, and said, "Yeah."
Zachary then said, "This isn't a protective Spellscroll; it's a medium that steals Generational Blessings. If you wear this willingly, she can activate the Spellscroll, chant some incantation, and snatch your Generational Blessings."
He added, "Before, borrowing Generational Blessings was voluntary. Now, without you knowing, she can chant some spell and transfer your blessings to herself."
He then turned to Enrique. "That's why your bad luck keeps piling up, even the bracelet talisman can't hold it back, and it breaks down. Only then, in the Soule field, does it protect her from disaster."
Elizabeth chimed in, "This is totally against the rules, right? I wonder which divination master helped her pull this off."

So he asked Zachary, "Zachary, Brenda's actions break the Divination Association's rules, right?"
Zachary replied, "This needs to be checked out by the specific department in the Divination Association. I'm just a diviner; I don't handle that stuff."
Elizabeth shot a look at Zachary and said, "So, in this case, the person involved can file a complaint with the Divination Association, right?"
Zachary, with a smirk, replied, "Yeah, they can."
Elizabeth was stirring the pot again. She was setting it up so Enrique would personally send Brenda to the Divination Association for punishment. Cold move.
Sure enough, Enrique calmly said, "Then I want to file a complaint against her with the Divination Association. And I want them to find out which divination master gave her this thing. I demand they get punished hard."
The more Enrique had loved Brenda before, the more he hated her now. The better he had treated her, the more he wanted her to pay. She had hurt him too deeply.
Brenda looked at Enrique in disbelief, saying, "Enrique, you really want to do this to me?"
Enrique found her tone laughable, saying, "I'm just using your own methods against you. I'll treat you exactly how you treated me."
This time, he was dead set on not being soft-hearted or fooled by her again.
Brenda clutched her chest and took a few steps back, struggling to accept Enrique's ruthless change. She asked, "But didn't you say you'd always love and protect me? And now you're blaming me?"
Enrique's face darkened as he replied, "I loved and protected you willingly. But it wasn't for you to harm me. I don't want to see you anymore; get out!"

Just as Elizabeth was about to speak, Enrique spoke first. He looked at Brenda with cold eyes and said, "You shut up. No matter what, Elizabeth is my blood sister. We don't need your kind of family drama. Falling for your lies before was on me; it won't happen again."
Brenda still wanted to treat him like a fool. As Elizabeth said, if she didn't know the pendant had a problem, how did it absorb his Generational Blessings? If he believed her again, he'd reckon he was beyond redemption.
Brenda still wanted to argue, saying, "Enrique, it's not like that; I..."
At that moment, the door of the ward swung open. Bishop and Samantha, accompanied by Edward, walked in.
