Chapter 311 Always Ruining Her Plans, Damn It

Elizabeth glanced at Brenda, who was all tough talk. Instead of getting mad, she found it kinda funny.

Brenda was definitely a tough cookie.

But their Generational Blessings were linked, and their birth times were cursed together. If Elizabeth kicked the bucket, it'd be a win for Brenda.

But if Brenda bit the dust, it'd be a headache for Elizabeth. Still, if she slowly drained Brenda's Generational Blessings, Brenda would get hit with some serious bad luck. Once Brenda was down on her luck, she wouldn't be able to do much. And the person cursing from behind would get hit with backlash too, getting worse each time.

Elizabeth looked at Brenda with a cold stare and said, "Let's wait and see."

Soon, the game kicked off.

Brenda's team came out swinging, playing super aggressive. Whenever they had the ball, they'd swing their clubs to snatch it. They were sneaky, avoiding fouls and making it tough for the ref to call them out. In previous games, they'd been holding back.

Now, they were like wild animals, grabbing the ball without a second thought. The leader and another player were crazy strong.

When Dennis and Brandon faced them, just a touch from their clubs would make their hands go numb, and they'd watch helplessly as the ball got snatched away. Their clubs even got knocked out of their hands twice. And their legs took some serious hits, causing major pain.

Natalie had good skills, but she wasn't as strong as those two from Brenda's team, so she kept losing the ball.

Elizabeth, Raymond, and Zachary were in the same boat. But their killer skills and smart moves not only blocked their opponents but also let them grab the ball and dish out some minor injuries. They ended up scoring more goals than the other team.

Especially Elizabeth and Zachary, who were so quick they could dodge or counterattack even when surrounded by two or three opponents. But seeing the skill gap, the other team started targeting Dennis, Brandon and Natalie.

Brenda first went after Natalie because she had a serious grudge against her. She couldn't stand Natalie for siding with Elizabeth instead of supporting her. To Brenda, Natalie was a total traitor, and she felt no need to go easy on her.

Natalie also hated her selfish and ruthless sister Brenda. On the field, they had some intense clashes over the ball, with neither one coming out on top.

Brenda didn't expect Natalie to be such a tough nut to crack. This wasn't working; she still needed to deal with Elizabeth. So she silently recited a spell in her mind, then chanted to absorb Enrique's Generational Blessings. She wasn't a diviner, but she had a pendant from a master diviner to steal Generational Blessings, so reciting the spell would activate it. Generational Blessings started flowing from Enrique into Brenda's body.

Elizabeth and Zachary both noticed.

Elizabeth quickly galloped her horse towards them.

After soaking up Enrique's Generational Blessings, Brenda saw her chance and rushed in front of Natalie to snatch the ball. She smacked Natalie's club hard. It looked like she was just going for the ball, but really, she wanted Natalie's club to bounce back and hit her leg.

With the extra Generational Blessings, Natalie's club did just that, rebounding and smacking her leg. As Natalie charged forward, she couldn't stop and was about to take a nasty fall. The spot where she was headed was right in front of Brenda's club. If she hit it, she'd be seriously hurt, maybe even disfigured.

At the last second, Elizabeth caught Natalie, leaving everyone on the field stunned.

Then, the stands erupted with cheers and applause. The viewers on the live stream were just as shocked, then totally impressed by Elizabeth.

[Elizabeth is so badass.]

[OMG, Elizabeth is amazing.]

[I was freaking out. If Elizabeth hadn't saved Natalie, she would've been toast.]

[With Elizabeth around, I feel so safe.]

[Elizabeth is so cool; I'm obsessed!]

[Do you think Brenda did that on purpose when Natalie's leg got hit?]

[Totally. This team's playstyle is dirty. Once or twice is a fluke, but several times? Definitely on purpose.]

[Brenda is such a snake. She picked up the worst tactics from this team real quick.]

[Her next target is definitely Elizabeth.]

[I'm worried for Elizabeth, but I also hope she puts Brenda in her place.]

The crowd was buzzing with both worry and excitement.

Brenda saw Elizabeth swoop in and save Natalie without a scratch. Her eyes turned icy as she cursed inwardly, 'Elizabeth, that bitch, always messing up my plans. Damn it!'

Since Elizabeth was so eager to get in her way, Brenda wouldn't hold back.

On horseback.

Natalie clung tightly to Elizabeth's waist, her heart finally calming down from the scare.

She thought, 'Elizabeth is truly amazing. If she were a guy, I would totally go after her.'

"Elizabeth, thank you. I would've been in big trouble today," she said, feeling the bad luck that had just hit her.

After realizing Brenda's scheme, her club rebounded, and she tried to move away fast. Normally, the club would've missed. But her hand cramped up, slowing her down, and it hit her leg.

As she fell, she had a gut feeling she was about to get seriously hurt. She was sure it was Brenda's doing.

They were twin sisters, but Brenda treated her like an enemy. This made the last bit of sisterly affection in Natalie's heart vanish. She had wanted to see Brenda suffer, but she hadn't planned to cripple her. Now that Brenda had struck so ruthlessly, she wouldn't hold back in the future.

Elizabeth's voice was calming. "It's good that you're okay." Then she asked, "Do you want to keep playing or take a break?"

Natalie replied, "I'm fine. Let's keep playing."

Elizabeth said, "Alright, then let's keep going."

Natalie nodded. "Okay!"

At that moment, Enrique, who was taking a break and drinking water, choked on it. He felt like a wave of water was surrounding his nose and throat, making it hard to breathe.
