Chapter 431 End Up with Nothing

Orlando and Amy's marriage wasn't even legit. They never signed a prenup either. So, when they split, Amy had no claim to any of the Baker Family's assets.

Rebecca couldn't help but give Orlando a thumbs up. "Dad, you're a genius. Amy thought our family's money was hers. If she finds out, she'll probably lose it."

Amy had hinted before that the Baker Family's inheritance would go to Percy, which meant it would be hers too, and that Rebecca and Eugene shouldn't even think about it.

Amy even threatened Rebecca, saying if she talked back again, she wouldn't get a dime in the future. That's when Rebecca realized how ambitious Amy was.

Amy not only cheated on Orlando but also wanted the entire Baker Family fortune. Her ambition was off the charts. But she didn't have the power to back it up. Forget the Baker Family's assets, she wouldn't even get a share of the marital property she was legally entitled to. Orlando would kick her out with nothing.

In the end, all of Amy's scheming would be for nothing.

Amy's biggest pride was controlling Orlando, the rich CEO. But it was all a facade. She'd be crushed when she found out. You had to admit, Orlando was really something.

Eugene also realized he was way behind Orlando. He asked, "Does Percy know about this?"

Orlando nodded. "Yeah, he knows. We're working together." Percy was smart and knew how to make the best choice for himself. Even though Percy wasn't his biological son, Orlando still appreciated him.

After dealing with Amy and Ethan, Orlando wouldn't take it out on Percy. Once everything was settled, Percy would leave the Baker Corporation as agreed.

Rebecca sneered at Eugene, "You're the only idiot in the family who didn't know." Eugene might be a big star, but he wasn't cunning. Even the not-so-smart Amy could outsmart him, which showed how clueless he was.

Eugene fell silent. He was hit hard. Not only was he the only fool in the family, but he was also the only one who couldn't see clearly. No wonder even Elizabeth didn't want him anymore. He felt like shutting himself off and didn't want to stay here any longer. He said, "I'm tired, I want to go back to my place to rest."

Orlando didn't comfort him. After all this, Eugene would probably grow up. He said, "Go ahead. You and your sister should find a way to announce the severance of your relationship with your mother in the next couple of days. Then I'll break up with your mom."

Orlando had to coax and persuade Amy to decisively sever ties with Eugene and Rebecca. Then he would strike against Amy. By the time she regretted it, it would be too late. Otherwise, if he broke up first, Amy would definitely not agree to sever ties with Eugene and Rebecca.

Rebecca nodded. "We'll go confront her today and provoke her to sever ties with us. Let her issue a statement first, and then we'll follow up. Then, Dad, you can give it a push, and it'll be done. After that, she won't have the nerve to bother us anymore. Even if she shamelessly comes to us, no one will say anything if we ignore her."

Orlando looked at Rebecca with approval. "That's exactly what I was thinking." He felt confident about leaving the Baker Corporation in her hands someday. As for Eugene, well, he should just stick to being a big star and acting.

Eugene fell silent, realizing that Rebecca was the one who truly took after Orlando. His initial plan had been to just tell Amy to sever ties, not caring if she agreed or not.

But it was clear that Rebecca and Orlando had thought things through more carefully. If Amy issued the severance statement first, they would look like they were reluctantly agreeing out of heartbreak, putting them on the moral high ground. It was a smart move. Eugene sighed inwardly, thinking, 'I need to learn more from them.'

When Eugene left, Rebecca followed him. She even dragged Eugene home to confront Amy.

At the Baker Family mansion, Amy had just heard that Aaron had not only failed to deal with Elizabeth but had also been taken away by agents from the Special Department. She had been warned to be cautious, fearing that Aaron might implicate her.

Amy had already decided that if Aaron did implicate her, she would flatly deny any involvement. Although the news had annoyed her, she wasn't particularly scared. After all, she still had the support of the Baker Family, and with Orlando's concern for her, she knew he wouldn't abandon her. If the Special Department applied too much pressure, she would have Orlando find someone to take the fall for her.

What annoyed Amy the most now was that Betty's face had healed. She heard that Betty transferred the poison bug to her own nephew, Zephyr. She despised Betty even more, thinking that Betty, born into a wealthy family, was so unscrupulous. She couldn't bring herself to do such a heartless thing to her own nephew. And Elizabeth had escaped again. Aaron was so useless.

Amy was sitting in the living room, lost in thought, when Eugene and Rebecca walked in together. Seeing them only increased her annoyance. "What are you doing back here?" she asked irritably.

Rebecca deliberately put on an angry face. She snapped, "Of course, we're here to settle the score with you. Not only did you hire an evil wizard to harm Elizabeth, but you also didn't spare us siblings. Are you even our real mom? Do you wish we were dead so you and Percy could take over the family's assets?"

Amy felt a bit guilty hearing this. She knew her children had been with Elizabeth, and she was very angry at the time. Rebecca and Eugene always went against her, knowing she hated Elizabeth, yet they always hung out with Elizabeth.

Back then, Amy's mind was all on dealing with Elizabeth, and she really didn't think about her children's safety. But she was their mother, and it wasn't Rebecca's place to question her.

She glared at Rebecca. "What nonsense are you talking about? That's not true." She would never admit it, not even in front of her children, as it was a weakness.

Rebecca sneered. "Stop pretending. That evil wizard sold you out completely. He even said you didn't care about our lives and wanted to kill us too."

Amy frowned. She had never said that; Aaron must be crazy. But she didn't care. "Aren't you alive and well? Is it necessary to come here angrily and question your own mother?" she complained. Besides, the Baker Family's assets were supposed to be hers and Percy's in the future. What did Rebecca mean by "take over"? Rebecca's words were too harsh.
