Chapter 176 Are You Sure It Was Elizabeth's Doing?

Eugene heard Brenda's words and couldn't help but look at her.

Eugene pressed, "It shouldn't be like this, so what should it be like?"

Looking at Brenda, something seemed off.

Brenda looked at him incredulously and said, "Of course, it shouldn't be me ending up like this."

Eugene frowned with suspicion, he questioned, "Then who should it be?"

Brenda still had some rationality left, holding back the urge to curse Elizabeth.

With red eyes, she said, "When I was going down the stairs, I suddenly felt a bit dizzy. The bracelet I was wearing suddenly broke, and I lost control and stepped on the beads. So I shouldn't have fallen down the stairs; someone did something to me."

This was definitely Elizabeth's doing.

She felt her Generational Blessings weakening again, and she was disfigured and had a broken leg.

If she was suffering, so would Elizabeth.

Anyway, everyone in the live stream knew Elizabeth could do divination and curses.

She wanted everyone to know that Elizabeth had harmed her behind the scenes.

In the future, who would dare to interact with Elizabeth, knowing they could be schemed against at any time?

Arnold was stunned by her accusation. He rebutted, "Who did something to you? When you fell down the stairs, I was right next to you, and there was no one else!"

He thought Brenda meant someone had pushed her.

Brenda wanted to lead him to this conclusion.

"No one pushed me; someone used supernatural means on me. Now I've got a head injury and a broken leg, and I can't continue the live stream, so I'm no longer in her way. Why won't she leave me alone? I really didn't take anything from her!" Brenda said.As she spoke, tears started to flow, as if she was breaking down.

Although Brenda didn't name anyone, everyone present understood.

Arnold asked in surprise, "Are you saying Elizabeth did this to you?"

Among them, only Elizabeth knew supernatural means. And she had the biggest conflict with Brenda.

Brenda praised Arnold in her heart; he was smart for once. She naturally wouldn't say it out loud, but Arnold said it on her behalf.

She bit her lip in frustration, then complained, "Arnold, I'm in so much pain. The bracelet broke, and my face started hurting again."

This wasn't a lie; after the bracelet broke, her face did start hurting again.

Now her whole body hurt, making her want to tear Elizabeth apart.

She pretended to be scared. Brenda insinuated, "If she doesn't leave me alone, what should I do?"

Seeing her like this, Arnold couldn't help but believe her a little.

After all, Elizabeth had used those means on Richard and Brenda before, making their faces and bodies hurt.

He frowned even more, doubting. Arnold probed,"You mean she used supernatural means to make you fall down the stairs?"

Brenda didn't answer directly.

She looked at Arnold pitifully. Brenda cried to him, "Arnold, I'm so scared. I'm scared I'll be disfigured, and my broken limbs will never heal. When will she leave me alone?"

Arnold was furious. He said, "How could she do this?"

Brenda indeed had her faults, but Elizabeth's actions were too much.

A girl's face was so important, and Brenda's injury was so severe that it would definitely leave a scar and disfigure her.

Brenda looked at Arnold, crying with dependence, "Arnold, can you ask her to leave me alone? I'm in so much pain, my face hurts, my forehead hurts, my hands and feet, my whole body hurts. I really can't take it anymore."

It was the first time Arnold had seen Brenda cry so pitifully and humbly.

He gritted his teeth and said, "I'll go find her."

With that, he stormed out of the ward in anger.

Kevin, who was still in a daze, didn't have time to stop him.

He looked at Brenda in confusion. "Are you sure it was Elizabeth?" Kevin doubted.

He always felt that Elizabeth wasn't that malicious.

Although she could be vengeful, she never actively harmed anyone.

Moreover, Elizabeth had the upper hand in both the previous episode and current episode of the variety show.

She had no reason to harm Brenda like this.

Seeing Kevin's doubtful eyes, Brenda was furious.

He didn't believe her now.How was she supposed to answer such a direct question?

Earlier, she had avoided this question in front of Arnold.

Eugene looked at Brenda suspiciously, and pressed, "Are you sure it was Elizabeth?"

He also didn't quite believe that it was Elizabeth's doing.

And even if it was, she wouldn't do it without a reason.

If it was just to get back at Brenda, she wouldn't do it during the live stream.

Eugen understood Elizabeth's character very well.

Being asked again, Brenda couldn't keep being vague.

She bit her lip in frustration, then reasoned, "Who else could it be? She had previously used her means on Richard and me, making my face hurt all the time. The bracelet I wore was to suppress this pain."

She hinted, "Who knew the bracelet would suddenly break, and then I..."

Eugene thought for a moment and said, "We'll know the truth once Arnold asks her."

Kevin agreed, "Yes, let's wait for Arnold to ask."

He internally criticized Arnold for being too impulsive.

He hadn't fully understood the situation and was already storming off to confront Elizabeth.

This would only worsen their already strained sibling relationship.

He asked a staff member, "Can we use your phone to check the other live stream room?"

He didn't want to join the commotion, fearing Elizabeth might misunderstand his intentions.

But he was curious about what would happen next.

Eugene felt the same. he too requested, "Yes, let's take a look."

The staff member asked the director for permission, then came back saying, "The director said it's okay."

There was a TV in the ward, and the staff member turned it on.

He projected the live stream from his phone onto the TV.

At this moment, Arnold was asking the director's team where Elizabeth was and took a car provided by them to go there.

Arthur didn't believe Elizabeth would harm Brenda for no reason.

He thought Brenda was framing Elizabeth because she couldn't continue the variety show after her fall.

Moreover, when Brenda had her accident, Elizabeth was waiting for an award.

They were so far apart; how could Elizabeth know Brenda was going down the stairs?

The viewers in the live stream were also confused.

Brenda's fans started cursing in the live stream chat, clearly believing Elizabeth was responsible.

Others, seeing Brenda's miserable state and hearing her tearful words, began to doubt Elizabeth.

So more and more people in this live stream believed Brenda.

Elizabeth indeed knew divination and curses.

If Brenda's situation was man-made, it seemed Elizabeth had the most opportunity and reason.

After all, Elizabeth and Brenda had always been on opposing sides due to family reasons.

Brenda's fans even went to Elizabeth's live stream.

They spread rumors about Elizabeth's maliciousness and hurled insults at her.

The viewers in that live stream were also confused.

Someone had recorded Brenda's previous words and posted the video online.

Everyone started clicking the post to watch the video of Brenda's accusations.
