Chapter 346 Another Good Show

Hearing Elizabeth say that, Larry realized she was way more formidable than he thought. So, he filled her in on the whole Brenda situation.

Elizabeth looked at him and said, "I can let you go. Just treat Brenda the way you planned to treat me."

Larry quickly replied, "No problem. If Brenda tries to mess with us, I won't let her get away with it." He figured Brenda knew Elizabeth was a powerful fortune teller and wanted to use her against them. The remaining $3.5 million was just bait to get them to risk their necks; she never planned to pay up. That made him furious.

Elizabeth could see Larry had Brenda all wrong, but she didn't bother to correct him. The misunderstanding worked in her favor.

She pulled out a small envelope and took out a strand of hair. Handing it to Larry, she said, "Here's a strand of hair. Take it to her."

The hair was actually Brenda's, which Elizabeth had gotten from Natalie. She added, "As for the blood, just use a few drops of your own and tell her you got it from me."

Brenda probably wanted the hair to give to Amy to harm Elizabeth. So, let Brenda deal with the consequences of her own actions.

Larry's eyes lit up. "Ms. Clark, I get it." By doing this, they could also snag the remaining $3.5 million.

Elizabeth suddenly smiled and asked, "Don't you want to make more money?"

Larry was caught off guard but intrigued. "Of course, what do you mean?"

Elizabeth hinted, "Brenda's loaded. $3.5 million is chump change to her. You can turn her money into your money. People like you probably have accounts in foreign banks, right?"

She suggested, "Once you get the money, transfer it out immediately. She can't touch you then."

Brenda had hurt Enrique in Aevum City, and knowing Paul, he probably wouldn't keep Brenda in the family. Once kicked out, her financial support would be gone. Brenda had teamed up with Amy to plot against Elizabeth, so it was time to return the favor. Making Brenda broke was a good start.

With Brenda's personality, she'd be too scared to go to Paul if she was broke. But she'd cling to Betty and her brothers for money, causing more drama.

Of course, these three wouldn't have a happy ending either. Elizabeth wouldn't let them enjoy the money. Once the money was transferred out, she'd move it to a charity fund to do some good.

Larry's eyes sparkled even more. They'd pulled off this kind of thing many times before, using threats and coercion. He nodded and said, "We're pros at this. Thanks for the tip, Ms. Clark." Brenda wanted to scheme against them, so they wouldn't hold back.

Elizabeth thought for a moment and said, "Actually, there's another way you can make some cash."

Larry perked up. "What is it? We're all ears."

Elizabeth explained, "You know Brenda and Enrique had a falling out over the Soule competition, right? All you need to do is get a sample of Brenda's hair and blood and send it to the hospital for Enrique. He'd be very interested and would probably pay you for it."

Enrique wanted to hire Zachary to counter Brenda and reclaim the Generational Blessings. Using Brenda's hair and blood would double the effect. So, Enrique, who was now bedridden and suffering, would definitely be willing to buy it. Then Elizabeth could enjoy another round of sibling rivalry.

Larry was half-skeptical but thought it was worth a shot. After all, they were going to mess with Brenda anyway, and getting some hair and blood to make money sounded like a sweet deal. He looked Elizabeth in the eyes and said, "Ms. Clark, thank you, and sorry again for today's mess."

Elizabeth was too soft-hearted; she only scared them but didn't really do anything. She even gave them two ways to make money. Although she was using them to plot against the siblings, it was in their best interest. What a good person!

Elizabeth glanced at him and said, "Get lost." In a few days, these people probably wouldn't have anything nice to say about her.

After dealing with those three, Elizabeth headed straight to the Divination Association and found the designated storage area. She sensed a fluctuation in the aura of a formation around her; this formation had evidently been established many years earlier. This Aevum City and the Divination Association were not as simple as they seemed.

The courtyard gate was open, and Elizabeth walked right in. Inside, she saw an old man with white hair napping under a tree not far from the entrance. Seeing Elizabeth, he got up and walked over, sizing her up. He asked, "What are you doing here so late?"

Elizabeth showed him the key. "I'm here to retrieve something."

The old man glanced at the key and its number. "Go directly to storage room number seven."

Elizabeth nodded. "Okay!"

Although there was only one old man guarding the place, she could sense that he was a very powerful fortune teller. With the array here, they weren't worried about anyone daring to rob the place.

It was a large building with several wings, each containing many rooms. Elizabeth didn't stop and went straight to find room number seven.
