Chapter 274 Elizabeth Achieved Her Goal
Enrique's words left everyone totally stunned.
Raymond rolled his eyes and snapped, "Enrique, are you for real? Isn't the recording clear enough? Brenda's not innocent here. She even wants to snag Elizabeth's spot on the show!"
Enrique hesitated and said, "We were just helping her talk to Elizabeth. It wasn't her idea."
Raymond scoffed, "You're not playing with a full deck! Brenda totally manipulated you, and you're still okay with it."
Elbert jumped in, "Am I missing something? That didn't sound like negotiating with Elizabeth. From the recording, it sounds like you were strong-arming her to give the spot to Brenda."
Nancy was fuming too, adding, "Enrique, we're not deaf. We can tell right from wrong."
Natalie, who showed up late but caught the whole thing, said pointedly, "Maybe I'm missing something too. Because it sounded to me like you and your family were pressuring Elizabeth. Elizabeth added, "He's always been the most self-righteous and least self-aware."
Enrique hadn't expected Raymond and Elizabeth to say such things on a live broadcast. He was so flustered he didn't know how to respond.
