Chapter 19
Seeing the young and handsome Raymond pretending to be pitiful, the hostess suddenly relaxed in front of the camera.
She smiled and said, "It's just breakfast, no problem."
Then she got up to prepare it.
Elizabeth glanced at the barely touched bread on the table.
She smiled and said, "Ma'am, why don't you take us to the kitchen? We can make it ourselves."
"Otherwise, your bread will get cold."
The hostess didn't refuse and nodded. "Alright, follow me."
The four of them followed her to the kitchen, where she pointed out the kitchen appliances and showed them how to use them.
She not only took out bread but also four eggs and some greens before returning to her breakfast.
Once the hostess left the kitchen, Elizabeth asked the three, "Do you know how to make sandwiches?"
"No," the three shook their heads simultaneously.
Elizabeth nodded. "Then let's divide the tasks, shall we?"
The three nodded as well. "Sure, we'll follow your lead."
Elizabeth pointed to the vegetables. "One of you will wash the veggies, one will toast the bread, and another will fry the eggs."
"I'll make the sandwiches," she said, not taking on all the tasks herself.
She didn't want to set a precedent for the next half month where her teammates would leave all the cooking to her, nor did she want to hog the camera.
By having the others participate, there would be more to watch.
The three had no objections, and even though Elizabeth was quite considerate.
She didn't take over everything herself, which she could have easily done, thus monopolizing the camera.
The three went to work, creating some interesting moments.
A moment later, Elizabeth combined the toasted bread and veggies, placing the fried eggs on the bread.
The sandwiches looked appetizing, making everyone's mouth water.
Raymond took out his phone and snapped a photo of the four sandwiches.
Only then did everyone take their breakfast outside and take a bite.
After the first bite, Raymond and the other two's eyes lit up. "Delicious!"
They then buried their heads in their food.
Elizabeth's actions once again amazed the live-stream audience.
Clearly, she could make breakfast on her own but chose to involve everyone.
She was capable but didn't seek credit.
This reminded the audience of how Brenda had refused Lisa's help yesterday to hog the spotlight but ended up making a mess because she couldn't handle it.
Elizabeth was the complete opposite.
In this live stream, the fans of the four had a poor impression of Brenda.
Even the viewers who weren't fans didn't like Brenda.
In another livestream, Lisa's fans were increasingly annoyed with Brenda for stealing the spotlight.
Most of Eugene's fans were girls. They had never seen him be so considerate to any female celebrity before, so they didn't like Brenda either.
After finishing their meal, Raymond took out his phone and snapped another photo. He posted the earlier image in the group chat that included all eight of them.
Raymond: [Today's breakfast was amazing; it was the best sandwich I've ever had.]
He then posted the new photo.
Raymond: [It was so good we finished it all.]
He also tagged Kevin.
Raymond: [What did you guys have for breakfast today? Show us.]
They had just been turned away from a house and heard the notification sound.
Kevin and the others took out their phones and checked the group chat.
The four of them were silent.
Kevin couldn't help but send Raymond a "get lost" emoji.
Raymond replied: [haha]
He successfully irritated Kevin further.
As the two exchanged messages in the group chat, the cameraman focused the live stream on the phone so viewers of both live streams could see it.
