Chapter 110 Stay Away from Olivia

Once they left, the quiet crowd burst into chatter. No one could believe what they had just seen.

"Isn't Abigail Roman's fiancée? How is she Mr. White's wife now?" someone asked.

"This is nuts," someone said.

"I heard Roman had an affair with Jessica. If Mr. White has married Abigail, will Grace let Jessica join the family?" another pointed out.

Elaine watched the guests argue, fuming. 'Gregory and Abigail ruined a perfectly good party! This is too much!'

"No, I need to teach Abigail a lesson so she knows not to mess with me!" Elaine, in her high heels, was about to storm over to Abigail, but Olivia stopped her just in time.

"Aunt Elaine, there are too many important guests here. Doing this will hurt your reputation. Let's wait until the party's over," Olivia suggested.

Elaine, initially acting on impulse, began to calm down after hearing Olivia's words.Elaine said, "You're right. When will your plan be put into action? I can't wait!"

Olivia glanced nearby, her expression darkening as she grinned sinisterly. "Very soon."

Tonight, she'd show Abigail the cost of stealing Gregory from her!

...

News of Abigail and Gregory's marriage spread quickly.

Many guests had come specifically for Gregory. The White family was the richest in Aramore, and as its head, Gregory wielded significant financial power and influence.

Many sought to engage with Gregory on business matters. Even if they couldn’t secure a deal, they aimed to leave a lasting impression.

In the unpredictable business world, who knew when Gregory might remember them and want to collaborate.

The chances were slim, but the temptation was strong, making this party grand.

Hearing Gregory had brought a date, his new wife, many guests got eager.

Those with spouses at the party were thrilled and told them to be friendly with Abigail.

As soon as Abigail separated from Gregory, a group of wealthy wives and socialites swarmed her, their eager eyes regarding her as if she were a treat.

Abigail smiled and exchanged pleasantries before quickly heading to the dessert area for some sweets.

Seeing no one followed her, Abigail patted her chest and sighed in relief. 'These people are really scary!'

If Abigail stayed any longer, she'd be a bit frightened.

A mocking laugh came from behind her. "Abigail, you're so pathetic. Gregory left you alone here."

Recognizing the voice, Abigail turned to see Henry laughing with his hand on his waist.

He looked the same, casually wearing a light pink suit with the top two buttons undone and his tie loose.

His arm was draped over Quinn's shoulder, and he was laughing so hard he could barely stand. But instead of being annoying, he seemed bold and carefree.

Abigail sighed, grabbed a piece of cake, and stuffed it into his mouth.

"Is it that funny? You've been chased by people before too," Abigail said.

Though she hadn't interacted much with the Clark and Worthington families, she'd heard rumors.

Back in school, the three of them were famous, always followed by a group of admiring girls.

Henry seemed to remember those days too. The fear of being chased by crazy girls made him shiver, and he quickly stopped laughing.

He straightened his clothes and bowed to Abigail. "Abigail, I was wrong!"

Abigail smirked and waved her hand. "You're forgiven. You can go now."

But Henry wasn't so easy to dismiss. He leaned in and asked, "Abigail, I heard Elaine put a lot into this party. There's a rumor Roman and Jessica are getting together. Is it true?"

Abigail was surprised by his gossiping but answered, "I don't know much. Mom's too lazy to care now. It depends on her attitude."

Henry crossed his arms and looked disdainful. "Elaine cares too much about her reputation. No way she'd let her son marry an illegitimate child."

Abigail said, "Elaine loves Roman the most. If he threatens her with his life, it's possible."

"That makes sense." Henry nodded.

Just then, a man in a suit holding a wine glass walked over and greeted them. "Mr. Clark, Mr. Worthington, long time no see."

Henry quickly adopted a serious expression and greeted the man.

They discussed business and soon left.

Before leaving, Henry whispered, "Abigail, stay away from Olivia. She's trouble."
