Chapter 340 I'm Still Abigail's Brother
The moment Gregory saw the bracelet clearly, his expression changed slightly.
Abigail looked surprised. "What is this?"
Grace said, "Have you ever heard of the Frost Family from Elysium?"
Abigail shook her head, searching her memory but finding no relevant information.
Grace explained, "I am a member of the Frost Family. People say the Frost Family has declined, but in reality, we just offended someone back then and had to keep a low profile, gradually becoming more secretive."
She added, "Over the years, the Frost Family has been developing in Aerilon. If you encounter any trouble, go to this address and find someone from the Frost family. As long as they see this bracelet, they will definitely help."
In terms of strength, the Frost Family is not inferior to the Worthington Family.
The reason she took out the bracelet was to tell Abigail and Gregory that if the Worthington Family deliberately made things difficult, the White Family had nothing to fear.
Grace stuffed the bracelet into Gregory's hand, holding his hand tightly. She said, "I hope you won't need to use it. The Frost Family has long withdrawn from worldly affairs, but you are children of the Frost Family, and Gregory is the next heir. They will definitely help."
Gregory lowered his eyes, staring intently at the bracelet in his palm, feeling a heavy weight in his heart. He nodded solemnly. "I understand, Mom."
Grace's lips curled into a comforting smile as she waved at them. "Alright, you two go now. I need to rest."
Abigail and Gregory exchanged a glance, bid farewell to Grace, and left the White Manor.
They didn't notice that as they left, Grace was watching them from the window.
Andy stood beside Grace, puzzled. "Mrs. Grace White, you know this trip might be dangerous. Why are you still letting them go to Aerilon?"
"Young people need to venture out on their own. Their identities mean they will never have a peaceful life. Constantly protecting them is not a solution," Grace said.
Andy nodded, saying no more.
On the other side, Gregory drove away, taking Abigail back to Maple Residence.
Abigail curiously asked, "What kind of family is the Frost Family?"
Gregory replied while driving, "The Frost Family has a very powerful influence in Elysium, with immense wealth and influence that spans the entire region. But the its fame offended many people and harmed many interests, so those people conspired to frame my grandfather for treason. Since then, the Frost Family has kept a low profile, gradually fading from public view."
But even so, the Frost Family's power remains strong.
Although people rarely mention it now, their business has long spread nationwide and even has international influence.
"That impressive?" Abigail's eyes widened in surprise.
She had always known that Grace came from a prominent family but never realized their background was so profound.
She looked at Gregory, her expression somewhat indescribable.
Noticing Abigail's gaze, Gregory glanced over and chuckled. "What are you thinking? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Abigail snapped out of it and teased, "I just suddenly realized I seem to have married into a remarkable family."
Gregory laughed, freeing one hand to ruffle Abigail's fluffy hair. "You married into a remarkable family? Isn't it more about having a remarkable husband?"
Grace is the only daughter of the Frost Family, and by giving the bracelet to Gregory, she indirectly passed the heir position to him.
As long as Abigail remains Gregory's wife, they will have the support of two powerful families.
Abigail huffed, "That is not necessarily the case. Maybe the Worthington Family wants to consider me their daughter, and you, as their son-in-law, need my mom's approval!"
When he married Abigail, it was with Michelle's consent. Gregory laughed, "Michelle is definitely satisfied with me. I'm confident about that."
Michelle had arranged the marriage. But later, things changed, and Roman replaced him.
So Gregory was sure Michelle accepted him as Abigail's husband.
Abigail raised her chin. "We'll see. What if my mom doesn't like you?"
Gregory grinned. "That's impossible!"
Even if it were, he would do everything to gain Michelle's approval and there was no third possibility.
After returning home, Abigail and Gregory quickly packed their luggage and headed to the airport.
Quinn and Henry were already waiting at the airport.
Abigail waved at them with a smile. "Everyone's here. Let's go!"
As she spoke, two hands suddenly grabbed the suitcase. Gregory and Quinn said in unison, "I'll help you."
Their eyes met in the air. They silently competed, neither willing to let go first.
Abigail sighed helplessly. "What are you two doing? If we don't go now, we'll miss the flight!"
Gregory glared at Quinn, his deep voice carrying a warning as he said, "Let go."
Quinn didn't back down, gripping tighter. "You first."
Gregory sneered inwardly and said, "Alright, Quinn, you finally have some backbone. But remember, I'm Abigail's husband!"
Quinn pulled the suitcase closer to himself, smiling but with an unyielding gaze. "Funny, I'm still Abigail's brother."
Gregory fell silent.
He gritted his teeth, coldly reminding, "Abigail hasn't acknowledged you as her brother, so you don't count!"
A hint of sadness flashed in Quinn's lowered eyes, but his voice remained clear and cold. "Acknowledged or not, blood ties can't be severed."
Gregory's forehead tightened instantly. Quinn's words left him with no rebuttal.
Seeing the two still standing there, Abigail urged again, "Stop it, you two. It's just a suitcase!"
Quinn and Gregory exchanged a glance.
Was it just a suitcase? Clearly, it was a perfect opportunity to show their presence in front of Abigail.
In the end, Gregory relented. He let go, adjusted his clothes, and smiled. "Fine, since Abigail hasn't acknowledged you yet, I'll give you this chance."
With that, he quickly walked to Abigail's side, pulling her into his arms and striding forward.
Quinn remained silent. He looked down at the three suitcases in front of him and laughed in frustration.
Abigail's suitcase was one thing, but Gregory had even thrown his own to him!
Looking at the arrogant figure ahead, Quinn gritted his teeth but eventually pushed the three suitcases forward.
Henry watched the scene, showing no intention of helping.
When Quinn was out of breath, Henry finally walked over, fanning him with his hand.
"Quinn, I've known you for so many years, and I've never seen you so disheveled. It's hilarious."
Quinn's eyes narrowed, his icy gaze falling on Henry. "Want to die?"
Henry stifled his laughter, quickly covering his mouth as he said, "No way! I just saw you working hard. I never thought the usually aloof you would help with luggage—and even fight to carry it!"
'The sun must be rising in the west. Unbelievable!' Henry thought to himself.
Quinn didn't even glance at him, silently moving forward without a word.
