Chapter 135 Driving Away the Martin Family

After three whole hours of organizing, the Martin family finally finished packing all their luggage.

They stared at the suitcases before them, their faces pale.

After living there for so many years, who would have thought that when they left, only these suitcases of belongings would truly belong to them?

David felt deeply humiliated.

Jessica's eyes reddened when she saw that the exquisite and beautiful jewelry didn't belong to her.

In her view, those things were hers because she had fought for them from Abigail with her own efforts!

Why should Abigail take them back just because she said so?

Unwilling to accept it, she tried to snatch the box of jewelry.

But as soon as she reached out, Leo grabbed her hand.

A crackling sound of bones echoed, and Jessica screamed in pain, "My hand! Leo, I am Roman's fiancée. How dare you treat me like this? Aren't you afraid Roman will have Mr. White fire you?"

Leo sneered, his tone mocking. "I only take orders from Mr. White. If Roman wants to fire me, he needs Mr. White's approval."

He looked at her with disdain, flinging her hand away and even taking out a tissue to wipe his hands, not missing a single finger.

His actions deeply provoked Jessica, and a flash of resentment and embarrassment crossed her eyes.

But the pain in her arm reminded her that Leo, despite his calm appearance, was not someone to be easily provoked.

Kayla looked at Leo in horror and quickly pulled Jessica into her arms. "Jessica, are you okay?"

Seeing Jessica's pale face, seemingly enduring great pain, she couldn't hold back anymore and burst into tears.

"This is too much! It's bad enough they kicked us out, but to humiliate us like this! We've always been good to Abigail all these years. Doesn't she fear retribution for her actions?" Kayla wailed.

Leo looked down at her. "Destroying someone else's family and taking over their property, you deserve to be punished."

Having followed Gregory for many years, he exuded a fierce aura that made people afraid to approach.

At this moment, his face was like ice, and his sharp eyes hid a dangerous glint.

Kayla's shoulders trembled violently, and a wave of immense fear surged in her heart, silencing her.

Before they left, Leo took out a long list again and said, "Mrs. White is kind. The items you gave away or broke can be converted into cash, totaling fifty million dollars."

"On what grounds?" The three of them gasped in disbelief.

David was so angry that he almost had a heart attack and fainted on the spot.

Jessica, supporting David and crying, bit her lip and choked, "How can my sister be so heartless? Dad raised her for so many years. Even if she doesn't know how to repay, she shouldn't..."

Leo frowned and interrupted her, "Miss Jessica, I think you are mistaken. Mrs. White's mother is Michelle."

As for David, he had been preoccupied with his own affairs and scheming to obtain DM for all these years, neglecting his responsibilities as a father.

Jessica opened her mouth, stammering, "But even so, blood relations can't be changed."

Leo sneered, "If you don't raise a child, you don't deserve to be called a father. If you don't want to repay the money, wait for the court summons. The White Group may lack in some areas, but their legal team is top-notch."

The White Group's legal team was the best in the country, almost never losing a case.

David's face turned ashen, and he seemed to age ten years in an instant, exuding a sense of defeat.

He realized that Abigail was resolute about severing ties with him. Gregory's influence might even be a factor in this decision.

Once Gregory got involved, there was no room for negotiation.

He sighed deeply and walked out with heavy steps. "Let's go. Since Abigail thinks she'll be better off without me as her father, I want to see if she'll come back begging when Gregory abandons her!"

After uttering those harsh words, David left with Jessica and Kayla.

David still had a villa under his name. The location wasn't great, and the house wasn't big, but at least it was a place to stay.

...

The incident happened suddenly, and the villa hadn't been cleaned at all.

As soon as they walked in, they were greeted by a room full of dust.

Jessica was choked by the dust and started coughing violently, looking around the villa with disdain. "Dad, are we really going to live here from now on?"

'It's too small!' Jessica thought.

David's face was cold and gloomy, reflecting his frustration. But he had to face reality.

"Let's stay here for now. The company shares are still in my hands. Abigail wants to take them back, but it's not going to happen anytime soon!" he said.

He was now completely disappointed in Abigail.

From now on, he would no longer consider Abigail his daughter!

A trace of venom flashed in Jessica's eyes, and she clenched her fists tightly.

All her misfortunes in life were caused by Abigail!

Why didn't she just die!

"Mr. Martin, please settle the moving expenses. We have another job to get to," a mover demanded.

The movers brought in the suitcases and heard them complaining about such a big villa.

They might never be able to afford a villa in their lifetime, and yet these people were complaining about it being small!

David was puzzled, "Abigail didn't settle the payment with you?"

The mover asked in confusion. "You've severed ties. Why would Mrs. White pay for you?"

David took out his phone, scanned the QR code, and paid the moving expenses.

...

Abigail woke up to find Gregory leaning against the headboard, looking at his phone with a focused and serious expression.

She rubbed her eyes and curiously asked, "Mr. White, aren't you going to work?"

Gregory smiled and kissed her forehead. "You're awake? I have something good to show you."

He handed the phone to Abigail and said, "The Martin family has moved out of the villa. All of Mom's belongings are left behind. Do you want to go take a look?"

Abigail didn't speak, staring at the phone screen without blinking.

The phone was playing a video of Leo supervising the Martin family's move.

Watching the Martin family suffer in front of Leo, unable to say a word, Abigail couldn't help but laugh.

She sincerely praised, "I didn't expect Leo, who is usually so quiet, to be so eloquent at critical moments."

Gregory chuckled proudly. "He's my subordinate, after all."

Abigail threw herself into his arms, not holding back her gratitude. "Yes, thanks to you, I finally recovered all of Mom's inheritance. Thank you."

Gregory's lips curved slightly, and he glanced at her. "Is it just a verbal thank you?"
