Chapter 22 Malicious Family

Ralph's efficiency was very high, and he hired professional private investigators.
So, it only took a day for Abigail to receive some of the "evidence" against Roman.
After looking at this information, she realized that Roman had been with Jessica as early as five years ago.
Jessica should still have been in high school at that time.
Abigail showed a mocking smile.
No wonder Roman said Abigail was dull and conservative. It turns out he had a more lively and exotic woman with him.
However, Jessica really had some skills to maintain a long-lasting relationship with Roman.
Starting five years ago and continuing until a few days ago, they had been having sexual relations at a frequency of 3 to 4 times a month.
The most outrageous was in the first year when Jessica was 17. They had a particularly frequent sexual relationship, almost 3 to 5 times a week.
The highest record was actually seven days in a week.
Abigail propped her chin and carefully thought about it, and memories of that time suddenly came to mind.
Back then, Roman always looked tired and seemed like he hadn't slept well.
Thinking about it, she suddenly felt a bit nauseous.
Abigail remembered that it was shortly after Michelle's death and Jessica's move to the Martin Villa that Roman's attitude towards her changed. Before Jessica moved in, Roman was nice to Abigail. Although they were not in love or anything, he genuinely took care of her like a sister.

But everything changed when Jessica came into the picture. Abigail continued scrolling down and discovered that they had more than just hotel records. Roman bought Jessica many things—designer handbags, high-end clothes from a famous international brand, and jewelry. It wasn't just the daily stuff; the birthday gift he prepared for Jessica was even more extravagant.

A year ago, Roman gave her a private island, naming it after Jessica. Two years ago, he gifted her a private jet. Five years ago, he gave her the Rose Manor.

As Abigail read the Rose Manor's name and address, her expression changed instantly, and a cold glint flashed in her eyes.

Ralph, who had been standing by Abigail's side, noticed that something was off and immediately asked, "Mrs. White, what's wrong?"

Upon hearing Ralph's words, Abigail gradually regained her composure and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.

She pointed at the name of the Rose Manor with delicate fingers and looked up at Ralph. "According to the White family's rules, what punishment should be given for stealing?"

Taking something without permission is considered theft.

Ralph originally thought Abigail was angry because of the money Roman spent on Jessica, but he didn't expect her to ask this question.

However, he answered truthfully, "In the White family, if a servant steals something, they will be dismissed, handed over to the police, and required to compensate for the original value of the item."

"What if it's the master?"

"Well..." Ralph hesitated and glanced at Abigail before saying, "The White family has a pure reputation. Currently, there is no such precedent, but based on Mrs. Grace White's temperament, she would likely cut off all his bank cards and send him abroad for reeducation."

Ralph didn't mention that Grace would have definitely used a whip to lash him in the past. After all, Grace had a bold personality when she was young and couldn't stand stealing. Even if it were her family, she would never easily forgive them.

Reeducation would be more complex than studying abroad. The White family has a powerful training facility overseas, where they train many top-notch boxers every year.
The so-called "reeducation" was nothing more than being a punching bag for those top international boxers. Once inside, no one cared about how noble his identity was; they only cared about whose fist was stronger.

"So..." Abigail tapped her fingers lightly on the table, lost in thought.

Seeing her lowered gaze and impassive expression, Ralph asked, "Mrs. White, did someone steal something from you?"

Abigail sneered and pointed at the Rose Manor, saying, "This estate was left to me by my mother, but now Roman has given it to Jessica. Tell me, is that not theft?"

Abigail had lent the Rose Manor to Roman, never expecting him to turn around and give it to Jessica as a birthday present. Five years ago, their relationship had not yet soured. Roman had said he really liked the Rose Manor and wanted to take some friends to play there.

At the time, Abigail didn't think much of it and directly handed him the keys. She was still immersed in the grief of losing Michelle and quickly forgot about this incident. If she hadn't seen it today, she probably would have never remembered it in this lifetime.

Standing aside, Ralph listened to the whole story and felt embarrassed. Roman seemed smart most of the time, so how could he do something so foolish?

The White family had never been stingy with money for Roman over the years. Considering his relationship with Abigail, Gregory has always been generous to him. The card in Roman's hand was Gregory's supplementary card with no spending limit. Gregory had meant for Roman to buy more gifts for Abigail and help her out of the Martin family's predicament. But all that money was spent on Jessica. He even gave Jessica the things he took from Abigail!

Having worked for the White family for so many years, Ralph had never seen someone so foolish. No wonder Gregory couldn't take it anymore and married Abigail. If Roman continued to be indulged, wouldn't Abigail be bullied to death?

Abigail scoffed lightly, once again reshaping her understanding of Roman's moral bottom line. She looked at Ralph, her tone inquisitive but with a strong attitude. "Ralph, do you think I should go and ask Roman to give me back my manor?"

She just wanted to test Ralph's attitude towards this matter. After all, Roman was a member of the White family and Grace's only grandson, highly favored by the family. And she was just an outsider.
"Of course! Why wouldn't I come back?" Ralph hadn't had a chance to speak when a deep and cold voice answered her.

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Abigail slowly turned her head and saw Gregory, dressed in a suit, walking in. He was tall, and the well-tailored suit accentuated his perfect figure, making him even more refined. His handsome face was even more captivating under the light. However, at this moment, Gregory exuded a powerful and icy aura. His sharp eyes were as sharp as a blade as if he carried the pressure of someone in a position of power. Even though Abigail had seen him many times before, she couldn't help but be drawn to his face.

While she was lost in thought, Gregory had already approached her and picked up the documents in front of her. He quickly flipped through a few pages, his expression becoming increasingly gloomy as if brewing a storm. Tightly pursing his thin lips, he couldn't help but sneer, "My dear nephew, you certainly have some skills."
