Chapter 507 When Do You Want to Marry Me

On the fifth day of May, the wedding took place as scheduled.

Gregory started setting up the venue two days in advance. The large wedding site was almost entirely arranged and designed by Gregory himself.

A long red carpet was laid out on the lawn, adorned with balloons, and the whole place was filled with a romantic atmosphere.

Abigail put on her wedding dress and let the stylist apply exquisite makeup on her.

Gregory came in from outside, stood behind Abigail, and praised with a smile, "Our Abigail looks so beautiful today, definitely the most stunning bride in the world."

Abigail turned her head to look at him, her face beaming with happiness. "Aren't you busy entertaining the guests? Why are you here now?"

Gregory, ignoring the people around, leaned down and kissed her on the lips. "I sneaked over, taking a little break from the busyness."

At this moment, a teasing voice suddenly came from behind. "Even at your wedding, you two can't stop flaunting your love—it's over the top."

Gregory and Abigail turned their heads to see Henry, Tricia, Quinn, and Maeve, all smiling at them with teasing looks in their eyes.

Abigail blushed and glared at them. "When you get married, you'll definitely be worse than us."

Henry and Tricia exchanged a glance and laughed. "That's true. Tricia and I have decided to get married next month. It's a good day that our families specially chose."

"Quinn, what about you?" Abigail looked at Quinn and Maeve.

Maeve blushed slightly, lowered her head shyly, and didn't say anything.

In fact, she was unsure. Although she had fallen in love with Quinn after spending so much time together, the gap between their statuses was too big.

Quinn was the high and mighty child of a wealthy family, the new head of the Worthington Group, capable of making waves with a flick of his finger.

She was just an ordinary girl from a humble background and quite an insecure personality. Unable to understand what Quinn saw in her, she thought he was just passing the time rather than intending to marry her.

Thinking of this, Maeve couldn't help but feel a bit sad.

Quinn, sensing Maeve's emotions, suddenly held her hand and asked in a low voice, "What do you think?"

"What?" Maeve blinked in confusion.

Quinn looked at her steadily and patiently repeated, "When do you want to marry me?"

Maeve felt like her mind had suddenly exploded.

She could hardly believe her ears. "Are you serious?"

Quinn frowned slightly and asked with a bit of amusement, "Could it be fake?"

Maeve's eyes suddenly reddened, and she felt a subtle emotion she couldn't describe. She had thought he didn't want to marry her.

Abigail noticed her reaction and couldn't help but say, "Quinn, your proposal is too hasty. How can you expect to marry Maeve without a proper proposal, just standing there empty-handed?"

Although she didn't know Maeve well, she knew Maeve was a good girl—soft on the outside but strong in spirit. Most importantly, Quinn liked her.

Maeve wanted to say that she didn't need those formalities, as long as Quinn loved her, but then she thought it might seem ungrateful to Abigail, so she swallowed her words.

Quinn collected himself and said with a smile, "Yes, I was a bit hasty today. I'll make up for the ceremony another day."

All these years, he had been alone, and now that he had finally met the woman he liked, he wouldn't let her go easily.

Abigail looked up at Gregory and happened to meet his gaze.

Gregory winked at her and gave her an approving look. "Well done, our Abigail is now playing matchmaker."

Abigail blushed slightly and waved her hand. "Not really, they got together on their own. I just gave a little push."

As she spoke, she made a small gesture with her fingers.

Gregory chuckled softly and gently tapped her forehead with his long fingers.

At this moment, Caius and Michelle pushed open the door of the dressing room and came in, urging, "It's almost time, and the guests are almost all here. Why are you all gathered here? Go out and greet them, or it will seem impolite."

Hearing this, Gregory quickly kissed Abigail on the cheek and whispered in her ear, "I'll go first."

Henry and Quinn, as groomsmen, also left one after another.
