Chapter 46 Fighting for Justice for Her

"When you make a mistake, you should be punished. Allison, do you know how much harm you almost caused the school this time?"
Allison's shoulders shrank, full of grievances.
She didn't expect that she would be playing a prank and that the Principal would be so angry!
The Principal said in a deep voice, "Call your parents, and you will be given a disciplinary action."
Upon hearing this, Allison suddenly raised her head, panic filling her eyes. "No, Principal, you can't do this to me. Abigail didn't get hurt, did she?"
The Principal could tell right away that she didn't realize her mistake at all.
He sneered and reminded her, "Today is the school anniversary celebration. Do you know how many important people are sitting in the audience? You should be grateful that nothing happened to Abigail."
If the anniversary celebration were messed up, he would be ridiculed for the whole year.
Tears welled up in Allison's eyes, and she hurriedly walked up to the Principal, pleading with him, "Principal, please, can you not discipline me? If my parents find out, they will definitely kill me!"
The Principal shook his head, "When you make a mistake, you should pay the price."
No matter how much Allison begged, he couldn't forgive her!
In the end, Allison was completely desperate.
Tears flowed uncontrollably as she ran out of the office.
Before leaving, she gave Abigail a resentful look . ‘Just wait; one day, I will make you regret it!’
Abigail felt bewildered by her fierce and resentful gaze.
Shouldn't she be punished for her mistakes?
Should she wait for others to harm her and then return the favor?
But why should she?
After Allison left, Jessica approached Abigail with a proud expression, mocking and disdainful in her tone. "Abigail, are you satisfied now? Did you have to push Allison to a dead end before you would stop?"
Abigail chuckled at her words.
After giving it some serious thought, she answered, "To be honest, I'm not very satisfied. If it weren't for the Principal's face, do you think I would let her off so easily?"
Although it was a rhetorical question, Jessica couldn't help but feel that Abigail was capable of doing it.
Jessica refused to accept this and sought help from Gregory. "Mr. White, Allison's family is not well-off, and her parents have high expectations for her. If she is punished, her parents will not let it go. Can you help me talk to Abigail?"
She believed that Gregory would see Abigail's malicious, true nature!
No man would like a narrow-minded woman like Abigail!
"I can't," Gregory flatly refused.
He would not show mercy to anyone who had hurt Abigail.
If it weren't for the Principal's face, Allison's fate would be even worse.
The punishment she received was already lenient.
Jessica opened her mouth, wanting to say something else.
But after meeting Gregory's cold and indifferent gaze, she immediately dared not speak anymore.
In the end, she could only leave unwillingly to chase after Allison.
After she left, the Principal calmed down and asked Abigail, "Abigail, are you satisfied with this outcome?"
As the Principal of Aramore University, he had to prioritize the school's reputation.
Although Gregory was his student, if Gregory were not satisfied with his decision and exerted pressure on their school, he would have no choice but to bear it.
He didn't want it to come to that.
Abigail nodded and smiled faintly, "Thank you, Principal. Rest assured, I want a fair result; I don't want to cause trouble for anyone intentionally."
As he looked into her clear and shining eyes, the Principal couldn't help but feel like she could see through his thoughts.
He smiled and said to Abigail, "We will never let any student be wronged."
Abigail smiled and didn't say anything further.
The two of them exchanged a few words with the Principal and then left the Principal's office together.
Abigail looked at Gregory, a hint of a smile in her eyes. "Gregory, thank you. If it weren't for you to save me, I wouldn't have known how long I would be locked in there."
Gregory stared at her little face for a long time, then raised his hand and pinched her soft and tender cheeks.
"What did I say? You forgot so soon?"
Feeling the warm touch on her cheek, Abigail's face turned red instantly.
She took two steps back suddenly, looking at Gregory in a daze.
Because she was too flustered, even speaking became stuttering. "Gregory, you, you don't..."
Gregory raised an eyebrow, smiling as he asked, "Don't what?"
Abigail stuttered, "Don't touch me. It's not good if someone sees!"
Gregory glanced around, and indeed, many students were passing by on the campus.
Both of them stood out too much, and the passersby all looked at them.
Their eyes carried gossip and curiosity.
Gregory instantly understood in his heart that Abigail was shy.
He pretended not to understand, saying, "You are my wife; I touch my wife; others can't say anything."
Upon hearing the word "wife," Abigail's heart skipped a beat.
Her long and curly eyelashes trembled slightly, and she quietly retorted, "But in school... um, it's not good."
Gregory looked at Abigail with a smile in his eyes.
He suppressed the urge to laugh and deliberately teased her, "What's not good? I think it's fine. You're a college student now. Even if you're dating, no one will say anything."
He deliberately paused for a moment and continued, "Or is it that you're afraid people will know that you're already married to me?"
As Gregory's words became more outrageous, Abigail's eyelid twitched, and she hurriedly explained, "Gregory, you misunderstood. That's not what I meant!"
"Oh, and what did you mean? Abigail, am I not good enough?" He lowered his head, and the bangs on his forehead covered his eyes, making it hard to see his emotions.
Abigail thought he had misunderstood and quickly shook her head. "No, it's not like that. I'm just worried that it will negatively impact you. After all, we are currently in a secret marriage..."
Gregory chuckled lightly, reaching out to rub her hair. "Who told you we have to keep our marriage a secret?"
This was the first time he had heard from Abigail herself about her perspective on their marriage.
Although a little disappointed, he didn't feel angry.
He knew that Abigail thought this way because she was worried that their marriage would affect his reputation.
This silly girl always thought about others but never thought about whether she was being wronged.
So, he cleared his throat and said in a serious and determined tone, "Abigail, if I cared about my reputation, I wouldn't have married you. So, between us, as long as you're willing, we can go public at any time."
As long as Abigail agreed, he couldn't wait to tell the world that they were married.
