Chapter 474 Honey, save me! Someone is about to commit domestic violence!
In the evening, a few people had dinner together, and Abigail and Gregory suggested leaving.
Caius raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Why leave so soon? Why not stay a few more days?"
Abigail answered, "No, we have a lot of work to do in Aramore. We can't just leave it unattended."
Caius nodded helplessly and said, "Alright then, we'll go back to Aramore with you. I have some things to take care of there."
Abigail blinked and asked, "Are you sure you want to leave Mom alone in Aramore? Can you bear it? Why not let her come with me to Aramore?"
Caius refused without thinking. "No way, I'll be back tomorrow. I can't bear to have her running around with me."
Abigail teased with a smile. "It's winter in Aerilon now. Maybe Mom would love to go to Aramore. What will you do then?"
Caius glared at her. "What else can I do? Of course, I'll stay with her. Anyway, I'm free now. The company is managed by Quinn, and although the shares transfer agreement hasn't been signed with you yet, there are people handling it. I don't need to worry."
That was True.
Smiling helplessly, Abigail pulled Gregory upstairs to pack. Since they had come in a hurry with little luggage, packing was quick and simple.
Gregory took the suitcase and wrapped his arm around Abigail's slender waist, pulling her into his embrace.
Abigail raised her eyebrows and asked with a smile, "What's up?"
Gregory couldn't resist and pecked her rosy, full lips. "Nothing, just wanted to kiss you."
Abigail's ears turned red, and she glared at him playfully. "You're getting more and more eloquent. Do you remember how serious you used to be?"
Gregory chuckled. "It's all thanks to your good teaching."
Abigail pinched his waist unhappily and warned in a low voice, "Don't talk nonsense. Hurry up and take the luggage downstairs. If the plane is delayed, see how I'll deal with you."
Seeing Abigail's fierce little expression, Gregory found her even more adorable and kissed her again. Before she could react, he quickly walked downstairs, leaving Abigail standing there, touching her lips that still felt the softness of his kiss.
She smiled and muttered, "Childish."
When Abigail went downstairs, Caius was already waiting. He didn't bring any luggage, wearing a dark blue suit, exuding the steady aura of a mature man.
Abigail walked quickly down and suddenly sighed. "No wonder I'm so good-looking. With your and Mom's genes, it's impossible to have an ugly child."
Caius laughed and ruffled her hair, deliberately messing it up. He only stopped when she glared at him with a resentful look. "You're right. Anyone who has seen Michelle and me says we're a perfect match."
Abigail gave him a reproachful look and quickly ran into Gregory's arms, complaining, "Look, my hair is all messed up."
Gregory's deep eyes were full of affection. He reached out to tidy her hair and gently patted it. "Baby girl."Abigail happily shook her head and glared at Caius. "You can be narcissistic all you want. I think my mom could have found someone better without you."
"Hey, are you trying to make me angry?" Caius laughed angrily, rolling up his sleeves with a cold smile.
The sense of oppression was overwhelming.
Abigail shrank her neck and quickly hid behind Gregory. "Honey, save me! Someone's about to commit domestic violence!"
Her words made both Gregory and Caius laugh helplessly.
"Alright, alright, with me here, he won't do anything to you." Gregory coaxed softly, taking her hand and walking towards the car.
A few hours later, the plane finally arrived in Aramore.
Caius had things to do, so he said goodbye to the two at the airport.
Abigail curiously asked, "What are you here in Aramore for? Are you doing something illegal that you don't want Michelle to know about?"
As soon as she finished speaking, she got a flick on the forehead.
"Ouch!" Abigail covered her forehead in pain, her eyes gradually becoming resentful. "What are you doing!"
Caius sneered. "I think you need some discipline. I'm here for serious business. You'll know later."
Abigail answered, "Who cares what you're doing. I'm just supervising on behalf of Mom, reminding you not to do anything bad."
The rumors were true. Caius was a complex person, sometimes even ruthless to achieve his goals. She had to keep reminding him.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. You're pregnant, so don't worry about these things. I'm leaving." Moved by Abigail's concern, Caius smiled, waved to them, and left in another car.
