Chapter 60 Are You Ready?

Her long eyelashes trembled, and she curiously asked, "But she cried so sadly. Don't you feel sorry for her at all?"

It wasn't Abigail's imagination, but the tone Olivia and Gregory used when talking was too intimate.

Although Gregory firmly expressed resistance, it made people feel that there was some relationship between them.

Abigail even suspected that they had been in a relationship before, but it hadn't been publicized due to certain factors.

Looking at Abigail's mischievous gaze, Gregory felt helpless and amused.

What is Abigail daydreaming about again?

He lowered his head and leaned closer to Abigail's delicate face.

Their lips were close as if they would touch with just a slight movement.

Abigail stared blankly at Gregory's magnified handsome face and his eyes, which were as deep as an ancient well, lost in thought.

Just as she was lost in her thoughts, Gregory suddenly said,

"In this world, the only time I will be sad because of a woman's cry is when it's my wife."

His tone was low and magnetic, with a hint of seriousness and solemnity, like making a promise or whispering between lovers.

The warm breath he sprayed with his words fell on Abigail's cheeks.

Her face quickly turned crimson, and her heart started to beat inexplicably faster.

For a moment, she didn't know how to react.

Seeing Abigail's stunned expression, Gregory couldn't help but laugh.

His originally cold features instantly seemed to melt like a glacier, adding a touch of warmth.

Gregory's facial features were handsome, more than any man Abigail had ever seen.

Gregory even had a few more qualities of a mature man than those popular male celebrities, constantly exuding charm.

Irresistible.

As Abigail stared at him in a daze, Gregory suddenly raised his hand and lightly tapped her forehead.

"No one is disturbing our married life now. It's just beginning, wife."

He intentionally leaned close to Abigail's ear and murmured.

The end of his tone slightly raised, with a hint of pleasure.

Like a little hook, it made people feel tingling all over, and their hearts throbbed.

At this moment, Abigail wished she could find a place to hide.

She was saying it casually. She didn't expect Gregory to remember.

When Gregory saw Abigail's expression, he smiled even more brightly.

His gaze paused on Abigail's pink cheeks for a moment, then quickly shifted away.

Gregory silently withdrew his hand, which was holding Abigail's slender waist, and walked towards the villa.

He couldn't go too far, in case he annoyed Abigail.
After walking a few steps forward, Gregory noticed that Abigail did not keep up, so he stopped and waited for her.

Abigail was still standing in place, lost in thought. Gregory smiled helplessly and asked, "Aren't you coming?"

Abigail snapped out of her daze, rubbed her flushed face, and quickly caught up with Gregory.

Once upstairs, Gregory grabbed a bathrobe and went into the bathroom to shower while Abigail sat on the couch in the bedroom, fanning herself with her hand.

However, it was futile because the sound of running water from the bathroom kept her mind wandering.

Abigail silently covered her cheeks, feeling like she had picked up some bad habits from Tricia. She couldn't seem to control her thoughts anymore.

Images started flooding her mind uncontrollably, causing her face to turn red involuntarily.

Suddenly, the sound of running water in the bathroom stopped, and Gregory's voice echoed, "Abigail, I forgot to bring underwear. Can you find one for me?"

Abigail snapped back to reality, her face finally managing not to blush, but it suddenly turned crimson again.

Under...underwear?

Who takes a shower without wearing underwear?

After a long silence outside, Gregory knocked on the door again. "Abigail, are you asleep?"

Abigail covered her cheeks and mumbled, "Yes, I'm asleep."

Gregory hesitated for a moment, then laughed, "Abigail, don't be silly. You don't want me to go out with nothing on, do you?"

"No! Wait, I'll help you get it!"

Abigail panicked and quickly ran to the walk-in closet to get clothes for Gregory.

Gregory's clothes were neatly arranged, with everything carefully categorized.

It was as neat as someone with OCD.

His suits were mostly black, and the drawers below contained accessories such as sunglasses, cufflinks, and watches.

Abigail searched through several drawers before finding the section where the underwear was kept.

She dared not look around and swiftly grabbed a pair before closing the drawer and leaving the walk-in closet.

She forced herself to ignore the soft fabric in her hands and knocked on the bathroom door.

Gregory, standing behind the door, opened it slightly.

In that instant, Gregory saw Abigail's slender wrist, which appeared dazzlingly white under the light.

The bundle of pure black fabric in Abigail's soft hands created an intense contrast that struck Gregory deeply.

This stark contrast made Gregory's breath quicken instantly, and a genuine fire ignited in his chest.

Gregory held onto Abigail's slender wrist and pulled her into the bathroom.

Abigail felt a moment of dizziness and then lunged forward toward the front.

Then Gregory held Abigail's wrist with one hand and wrapped his arm around her slender waist, pressing her against the bathroom door.

Abigail blinked, somewhat bewildered, and said, "Gregory, you..."

Gregory trapped Abigail between him and the door, leaning down slowly towards her. "Abigail, are you ready?"

Abigail was momentarily stunned, not knowing how to react to this statement.

When she saw the desire in Gregory's eyes, Abigail inexplicably felt a sense of panic.

She instinctively held her breath, sensing a dangerous atmosphere that made her want to escape.

But Gregory held her tightly in his arms, not giving her any chance to evade.

"Gregory, we agreed to take it slow," she said.

Gregory gently caressed Abigail's cheek, his voice deep and husky, exuding a seductive charm.

"But Abigail, I can't wait anymore. What should I do?" he replied.

Abigail took a deep breath, unable to believe that Gregory would suddenly say such things.

Trembling, she asked, "Gregory, have you been drinking?"

Everything happened so suddenly that she had almost no mental preparation for it.

In Abigail's mind, Gregory was like an aloof and mature man, keeping his emotions in check.

Although Gregory had been trying to restrain himself and be tender toward Abigail, his true nature couldn't be concealed.

So, Abigail had never thought that Gregory would take the initiative to propose making love to her.
