Chapter 90 Not Interested in Recycling Trash

After getting back to school, Abigail dragged Tricia into the classroom, found a seat, and started gossiping.

Tricia grinned, "You said you were puzzled about something last night. Was it about Mr. White? Spill it!"

Abigail blushed, remembering last night. She tried to change the subject, "Class is about to start. Got an extra pen?"

Tricia saw right through her, wrapped an arm around Abigail's neck, and wouldn't let go. "Come on, spill it."

Abigail sighed, "There's nothing to spill. Class is starting!"

Tricia insisted, "I don't care. No gossip, no escape."

Feeling cornered, Abigail leaned on Tricia's shoulder. She hesitated, then asked, "You said you wanted to be my love advisor. Still up for it?"

Tricia's eyes lit up, "Love troubles? Tell me, I can help!"

Abigail quickly recapped the past few days.

Tricia thought for a moment, then surmised, "So Gregory likes someone else but still wants to be with you?"

Abigail nodded.

Tricia slammed the table, standing up angrily, "What a jerk!"

Her outburst caught everyone's attention. Embarrassed, Abigail tugged at Tricia's clothes.

Tricia quickly sat down, hiding her face in her arms.

She felt mortified.

When the classroom noise returned to normal, Tricia peeked up.

Seeing her embarrassed, Abigail laughed.

Tricia glared, "You're laughing? This is your fault!"

Abigail tried to stop laughing and clung to Tricia's arm, "Tricia, you're the best!"

Tricia, trying not to smile, gave her a look, "Fine. Now, how do you feel about Gregory?"

Abigail's expression fell, "I don't know."

Tricia thought and asked, "Did you guys kiss last night?"

Abigail blushed and nodded.

Tricia continued, "Did you want to pull away?"

Abigail replied, "A little."

It wasn't that she disliked it; she was just shy and not used to it.

When she thought of pulling away, Gregory kissed her so thoroughly she forgot to resist.

Abigail held her burning cheeks, trying to shake off the memories, but it didn't work.

Every time she closed her eyes, those images popped up.

Seeing Abigail's shy look, Tricia understood.

Abigail had fallen for Gregory.

She just didn't expect it to happen so fast.

But then again, who could resist someone like Gregory?

She sighed and finally said, "Instead of guessing, why not just ask him directly? If he likes someone else, you can move on. If not, at least you'll know."

Abigail nodded, "That's the only way."

She decided to ask Gregory directly when she got home that night. Tricia made sense; it was better to ask than to guess.

With her mind made up, Abigail felt better and started focusing on class.

After two classes, it was noon.

As Abigail was packing up, she heard Tricia exclaim in an angry voice, "This is too much! These two are just too much!"

Abigail pulled her toward the cafeteria and asked, "What's wrong?"

Tricia handed her the phone and sneered, "Look, they're shamelessly being affectionate in public, and now everyone says you've been dumped."

Abigail took the phone and saw the latest post on the school forum. It was a photo of Roman and Jessica holding hands at Aramore University. They looked very close.

Many comments said they made a good couple. Some said Roman had liked Jessica for a long time, but Abigail had been holding onto the fiancée title, and now they could finally date. Others said Abigail was too arrogant, and now she couldn't escape being dumped.

Abigail's expression remained calm, showing no signs of emotion. It seemed she didn't care.

Tricia, however, was furious, rolling up her sleeves, "Wait, I'll curse them out for you!"

Abigail felt warm inside and smiled, "No need, let them say what they want."

"I'm just mad. They have no idea how much you've suffered. You're the victim here!" Tricia fumed and decided to curse them out anyway. If she didn't, she wouldn't feel better and might even lose sleep.

But before she could type, Roman and Jessica walked up to them.

"What a coincidence, Abigail, you're here too?" Jessica said with fake surprise.

Abigail gave her a cold look, "I have classes today. Is there something wrong with me being here?"

Jessica put on a hurt expression, "Sorry, I thought you came because you heard Roman was at school."

Abigail sneered, "What does it matter to me if he's here or not? Don't think he's that important."

Roman's expression darkened, "Abigail, what do you mean?"

Abigail replied, "Exactly what I said. If you don't understand, maybe you need to work on your comprehension skills."

"You!" Roman's face turned ugly, too angry to speak.

Jessica quickly stepped forward, blocking Roman, "Abigail, I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you said that because you couldn't let go of Roman. It's not his fault."

Roman looked at Jessica, who was standing in front of him without hesitation, and felt a wave of tenderness. Jessica was indeed the person who loved him the most in this world. Breaking off the engagement with Abigail and choosing Jessica was the best decision he had ever made!

Abigail gave Roman a mocking look, "Don't worry, I'm not interested in recycling trash."
