Chapter 236 Help Me Dress

The next morning, Gregory woke up to find the spot beside him already empty.

He got out of bed, looked around the room, and finally found Abigail on the balcony.

Abigail was sitting on the balcony sofa, head down, seriously sketching.

The morning sunlight poured down, casting a soft glow on her face.

She looked exceptionally beautiful.

Gregory walked over and sat down next to Abigail without saying a word, just staring at her intently.

Abigail was modifying her sketch when the sofa beside her suddenly sank.

A gaze full of wistfulness fell upon her.

Abigail looked up and met Gregory's deep, narrow eyes.

She smiled, "Good morning, Mr. White."

"Why are you up so early? Why not sleep a bit more?" Gregory asked, noticing the dark circles under her eyes and feeling a pang of heartache.

Abigail stretched and said with a smile, "I haven't finished my sketches yet. The design competition is in two days, and I don't want anything to go wrong."

DM can't afford any mistakes right now.

Since she took over DM, she wouldn't let it decline under her watch.

Gregory fell silent.

He knew that DM had always been Abigail's obsession, so it was hard to persuade her otherwise.

After a long while, Gregory sighed helplessly, got up silently, and left the bedroom.

Abigail stared at his disappearing figure, puzzled.

A moment later, Gregory returned with a cup of coffee in hand.

He handed the cup to Abigail and instructed, "Drink it."

Abigail stared at the cup for two seconds, then chuckled, "Thank you, Mr. White. You're so kind."

Gregory gave her a sidelong glance. "Just this once. Don't do this again; your body can't take it."

Abigail took a sip from the cup and mumbled, "Didn't I learn this from you? If we compare, you're the real workaholic here."

"What did you say?" Gregory's eyes narrowed slightly, emitting a dangerous glow.

Abigail laughed nervously and waved her hands. "Nothing, I didn't say anything!"

Gregory raised his hand and pinched Abigail's soft cheek. "Mrs. White, are you badmouthing me?"

Abigail's face was pinched out of shape, and she pouted in dissatisfaction. "Who said that? I was clearly saying it openly!"

Gregory chuckled and ruffled Abigail's fluffy hair. "Alright, as long as it's you saying it, I'll take it as a compliment."

Gregory's features were handsome, his eyes deep, exuding a cold aura, yet he spoke sweet words with a straight face.

Abigail's cheeks flushed uncontrollably, and she glared at Gregory coquettishly. "Stop talking nonsense!"

Gregory leaned in closer, a smile playing on his lips. "Am I talking nonsense? Isn't Abigail complimenting me? Did I misunderstand?"

Abigail's lips twitched, and she was momentarily speechless.

Just as Gregory was about to kiss her, Abigail suddenly pushed him away and hurried into the bathroom. "I'm not talking to you anymore, I'm almost late for work."

Her retreating figure looked like she was fleeing in panic.

Gregory's smile deepened, and he shook his head helplessly.

At that moment, his phone rang, and Gregory's smile faded. "What's up?"

On the other end of the line, Leo couldn't help but twitch his lips.

This morning's important quarterly meeting, and he just forgot?

"Mr. White, everyone is already here, just waiting for you."

As soon as he finished speaking, Leo could feel a wave of killing intent through the phone.

He couldn't help but shrink his shoulders and quickly added, "If you're busy, I can send them back first?"

Gregory responded, "Postpone the meeting by an hour."

He had to personally take Abigail to work.

The car accident from a while ago still sent chills down Gregory's spine.

He wouldn't allow such a thing to happen again.

When Abigail finished washing up and came out of the bathroom, she was surprised to find that Gregory hadn't left yet.

A look of astonishment flashed in her eyes, and she asked, "Mr. White, aren't you going to work?"

"Waiting for you," Gregory replied succinctly.

He walked into the dressing room, took out a shirt and suit, and changed without a care.

Gregory took off his robe, revealing his strong physique, exuding a charming allure.

Before Abigail could react, her cheeks flushed uncontrollably.

She quickly turned around, covering her eyes with her hands, and shyly pursed her lips. "Mr. White, why didn't you close the door?"

Gregory paused slightly while putting on his shirt, a faint, ambiguous smile on his lips. "Which part of me haven't you seen? Why are you shy?"

Abigail's earlobes turned so red they seemed like they could bleed.

Seeing this, Gregory let go of the buttons he was about to fasten and walked out of the dressing room, standing in front of Abigail.

"How about you help me dress?" Gregory asked.

When Abigail looked up, all she saw was a strong, muscular chest and well-defined abs.

She playfully glared at Gregory. "In your dreams!"

With that, she turned to run.

But before she could take two steps, a large, strong hand wrapped around her waist.

A powerful force pulled her back.

By the time Abigail came to her senses, her back was already pressed against Gregory's solid chest, making her head spin.

Gregory slowly lowered his head, immediately noticing Abigail's flushed ears.

His deep eyes darkened, and he leaned down, his lips gently touching hers.

A soft kiss, even though he tried to restrain himself, couldn't hide the underlying desire.

Abigail felt a current of electricity quickly sweep through her body, bringing a tingling sensation.

A soft, seductive moan escaped her lips, and her whole body went limp, her legs almost giving out.

If it weren't for Gregory's iron-like arm around her waist, Abigail had no doubt she would have collapsed to the ground.

She quickly glanced at Gregory and called him softly, "Mr. White."

Gregory quietly observed Abigail in front of him. Having been intimate so many times, he knew better than anyone where she was most sensitive.

His sexy Adam's apple moved uncontrollably, but he made no other moves.

He was doing it on purpose!

Abigail bit her lip and struggled to get out of Gregory's embrace. "No, I'm almost late for work."

"Let me hold you a little longer. We haven't made love in a long time. Are you really going to ignore me for work?" Gregory asked, his tone was full of dissatisfaction.

Abigail silently held her forehead. Gregory was now like a beast radiating love, exuding intense male hormones with every move.

She could hardly resist!

But facing such a cold and handsome face, filled with desire, who could resist?

"No, it's daytime!" Abigail refused.

"So, does that mean it's okay at night?" Gregory asked.
