Chapter 322 Are You Feeling Guilty?
After finishing the meat skewer, Gregory picked up a skewer of mushrooms.
Before he could eat it, some oil accidentally splashed onto his suit.
A custom-made suit worth millions of dollars was ruined just like that.
For a moment, the air around them seemed to freeze.
Abigail clearly saw Gregory's face darken bit by bit.
Looking at his furrowed brows, Abigail couldn't help but want to laugh, but out of respect for Gregory's dignity, she forced herself to hold back.
She pulled out a napkin and, stifling her laughter, said, "Let me wipe your mouth for you."
Gregory glared at her, put down the food in his hand, and stopped eating.
After the meal, Abigail was completely satisfied, but Gregory had only eaten one skewer of grilled meat.
Seeing this, Abigail felt a pang of guilt and took him to a restaurant, ordering a bowl of pasta.
Fortunately, the place wasn't crowded, it was clean and tidy, and the pasta tasted pretty good. Gregory's mood finally improved.
By the time they got home, it was almost midnight.
They took a quick shower and fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning at the office, Abigail found out that many companies had placed large orders for DM's clothes the previous day.
Faced with this unexpected surprise, Abigail was thrilled.
But she also knew very well that the reason these people bought DM's clothes was all because of Gregory.
She quickly opened her phone and sent Gregory a message: [Mr. White, on behalf of DM, thank you.]
Soon, Gregory replied: [Just saying it?]
Seeing this message, Abigail couldn't help but laugh.
Gregory really didn't hide his thoughts in front of her.
Her eyes twinkled with a hint of mischief.
Abigail: [I'll be waiting for you at home tonight.]
After sending the message, Abigail turned off her phone.
After finishing her work, Abigail shut down her computer, planning to leave early.
However, just as she reached the company entrance, someone blocked her way.
"Abigail, where did you take Aunt Elaine?"
It was Olivia.
Abigail looked at her, puzzled. "Elaine? I haven't seen her recently. Are you sure you're looking in the right place?"
Olivia's eyes were filled with hatred as she stared at her, speaking with certainty, "Impossible, it must be you. You hid Aunt Elaine, didn't you? I know you don't like Aunt Elaine, but what you're doing is illegal."
Abigail was utterly confused. "First of all, Elaine's disappearance has nothing to do with me. Secondly, this is DM, not a place for your nonsense. Move aside!"
"No, if you don't bring out Aunt Elaine today, I'm not leaving!" Olivia spread her arms, blocking Abigail's way.
Elaine had gone out yesterday and never returned. Olivia had a gut feeling that this had something to do with Gregory and Abigail, but she didn't dare confront Gregory, so she came here first.
Who knew Abigail would dare to deny it!
Abigail frowned and directly took out her phone to call security. "There's a crazy person here. Send more security guards."
Olivia took a few steps back, feeling inexplicably flustered. "What are you trying to do?"
Abigail sneered. "Since you won't leave on your own, I'll have to call someone to escort you out."
With that, a group of security guards arrived and dragged Olivia away.
Olivia was terrified and struggled desperately. "What are you doing? Let go of me! Abigail, are you feeling guilty? Are you afraid Aunt Elaine will leak the video of your mom being intimate with another man, so you locked her up?"
Abigail's eyes narrowed, and she asked, "Wait, what did you say?"
