Chapter 145 Olivia Apologizes

The car quickly arrived at the White Manor, and two bodyguards escorted Olivia out and into the living room.

Gregory and Abigail were already there.

Elaine's eyes were red from crying. The moment she saw Olivia, she rushed forward, pushing the two bodyguards aside as she exclaimed, "Olivia, you've been wronged!"

Olivia called out, "Aunt Elaine..."

Gregory frowned and said coldly, "Now that everyone is here, let's begin."

Hearing this icy voice, Olivia couldn't help but shiver.

She instinctively looked at Gregory, who was staring at her with a mocking smile.

She hurriedly rushed over, knelt in front of Gregory, and pleaded, "Gregory, I know I was wrong. I really know I was wrong. Please forgive me."

"Where did you go wrong?" Gregory asked coldly.

Olivia sniffled and said, "Gregory, I just love you too much. I was momentarily possessed and tried to use that method to get you. I'm sorry."

"Love?" Abigail sneered. "Olivia, do you even know what love is? You almost harmed Gregory, do you know that?"

Olivia looked up, her gaze falling on Abigail, and she sneered, "Abigail, what right do you have to criticize me? If it weren't for you, I would be the one married to Gregory! I'm the only one worthy of Gregory. You're nothing! Just a woman Roman didn't want."

As soon as she finished speaking, a hard slap struck her face, turning it to the side. A red mark quickly swelled where it had landed.

Abigail shook her hand and said coldly, "Why? Because I'm Gregory's wife. Even without me, he wouldn't look at a malicious woman like you."

Olivia covered her face, her eyes full of anger. "How dare you hit me?"

Abigail calmly raised an eyebrow. "Why not? Don't you deserve it?"

Olivia trembled with rage. Her eyes were red, and she looked pitifully at Gregory. "Gregory."

Gregory glanced at her coldly, then took Abigail's hand and gently rubbed it. "Does your hand hurt?"

He brought Abigail's hand to his lips and gently blew on it.

The warm breath, both gentle and heated, brushed against her palm, causing a tickling sensation.

Abigail's long lashes fluttered slightly, and her fingers instinctively curled as if to pull back.

Gregory sensed her intention and tightened his grip, not letting her pull away.

Olivia was completely ignored, her face burning with pain.

She gritted her teeth in frustration.

With so many eyes on her, Abigail's cheeks flushed slightly, and she softly reminded, "Mr. White, we have important matters to attend to."

"Alright." Knowing Abigail was shy, Gregory stopped and released her hand.

He gestured to the bodyguards standing by and instructed, "Bring the person in."

The bodyguards nodded and turned to leave.

Watching the bodyguards leave, Olivia had an ominous feeling.

Sure enough, within half a minute, the bodyguards returned—this time with another person. It was a man wearing a familiar waiter’s uniform. His hair was disheveled, his clothes dirty, and he looked very unkempt.

The moment Olivia saw his face, her pupils contracted sharply, and she almost fainted.

Even Elaine's face turned pale, looking at Gregory in horror.

Hadn't she ordered someone to hide this waiter?

Gregory glanced at Olivia and asked, "Do you remember this person?"

Olivia bit her lip and shook her head desperately. "No, I don't."

Her voice trembled with fear.

Gregory ignored her and turned to the waiter, asking, "What about you? Do you not recognize her either?"

The waiter instinctively looked up, meeting Gregory's cold eyes, and his heart trembled.

At the same time, memories of being beaten by the bodyguards flashed through his mind, and his legs gave way, causing him to kneel on the ground.

He said, "I know her. That night, she gave me a large sum of money to bring a drink to you."

"You're lying! Don't frame me!" Olivia barked, glaring at him with hatred.

The waiter said, "I'm not framing you. The check you gave me is still in my pocket!"

As he spoke, he pulled a crumpled check out of his pocket.

The amount written on it was thirty thousand dollars.

Although thirty thousand dollars was nothing to the White family, it was a year's or even several years' salary for an ordinary person.

Looking at the check, Olivia fell in despair. 'It's over! Everything is over!'

Grace, who had been silent, suddenly spoke. "With the evidence clear, Olivia, do you have anything to say?"

Olivia's gaze swept over everyone's faces, filled with despair and helplessness.

She crawled to Elaine, grabbed her hand, and choked out, "Aunt Elaine, say something. Help me, please."

Elaine looked away with difficulty, her voice hoarse. "Olivia, apologize."

This time, Olivia had gone too far.

Gregory was never a kind person; he was like a venomous snake lurking in the shadows, never showing mercy.

Last night, Elaine had begged Grace, even kneeling for a long time. But Grace had been unmoved.

From that moment, she knew there was no way out of this.

Seeing Elaine's pained and helpless expression, Olivia was overwhelmed with anguish.

She slowly stood up, walked to Gregory, and bowed to apologize. "Gregory, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have drugged you or had delusions about you."

Gregory frowned, feeling there was more to her words.

He signaled to the bodyguards, who immediately understood and took out a bottle of medicine from their pocket.

Last night, Gregory had instructed them to investigate where Olivia had gotten the drug and to get an identical bottle.

They followed the waiter's instructions, pouring the white powder into a glass of water.

The powder gradually dissolved, and the water became clear again, with no visible traces of the drug.

Olivia stared at the glass of water, took it, and drank it.

The drug's effect was quick.

Soon, Olivia felt a wave of heat rising within her, as though countless insects were crawling and biting inside her chest.

Her cheeks flushed, her body radiated warmth, and her breathing grew heavier. A surge of pleasure coursed through her most intimate areas, overwhelming her senses.

Seeing this, Elaine quickly held her and almost shouted at the servants, "What are you standing there for? Call 911!"

The servants, very anxious, quickly took out their phones to call.

But before they could dial, Gregory stopped them. "Fifteen-minute countdown, starting now."

Olivia suddenly recalled she had blocked Gregory's path to buy time for the drug to take effect that night.

So now, he wanted her to experience the same thing?
