Chapter 506 Trying on the Wedding Dress

Not knowing how long it had been, Abigail was almost out of breath when Gregory reluctantly let her go.

However, his thin lips only moved a few inches away, while his hands still firmly held her slender waist. "Do you like it?"

Abigail blinked innocently. "What?"

"Me." Gregory looked at her with a smile, his deep eyes filled with affection. "Do you like me?"

Abigail's cheeks turned slightly red, her heartbeat quickened, and she pursed her lips, looking at him. "Guess."

Gregory chuckled twice and pulled her onto his lap. "I guess you do."

Caught off guard, Abigail exclaimed and then nervously wrapped her arms around his neck, glaring at him playfully. "You know it, yet you still ask."

Her words made Gregory laugh joyfully again.

After they had enough fun, Gregory held Abigail tightly on the sofa and asked her, "I've discussed our wedding with my parents, and we've all decided to hold it in a month. What do you think?"

Abigail nodded. "Alright, Mr. White, I'll leave it all to you. You better take it seriously. If I'm not satisfied, you'll be sleeping in the study."

Gregory agreed with a smile. "Don't worry, I guarantee you'll be satisfied."

Even if it was just to avoid sleeping in the study, he had to make an effort.

For the next month, Gregory was almost constantly busy, handling work at the company during the day and preparing various wedding details at night.

At home, besides taking care of the kids, Abigail was in charge of making their wedding dress and suits. She designed and hand-sewed every piece, including several banquet outfits, all within just one month.

To surprise Gregory, Abigail found a separate room in the villa and had the butler help her set it up, not allowing Gregory to enter.

When the clothes were finally finished, Abigail put them on mannequins, covered them with dust cloths, and blindfolded Gregory with a tie, leading him inside.

Gregory's vision was completely dark, and he held Abigail's hand tightly, smiling helplessly. "Why so mysterious? Is there a trap?"

Abigail snorted lightly. "You'll see in a moment."

Gregory let her lead him and stopped in front of the mannequins.

Abigail let go of his hand and instructed, "Don't open your eyes yet, wait a moment."

As she spoke, she pulled off the cloth covering the outfits, "Alright, you can open your eyes now."

Gregory slowly opened his eyes to see a wedding dress and four uniquely crafted, matching couple's outfits, all stunning.

"Did you make all of these by yourself?" Gregory asked, somewhat incredulous.

Abigail nodded with a smile, her eyes sparkling as she looked at him. "Do you like them?"

"Yes, I like them. I like everything you make." Gregory stepped forward and pulled Abigail into his arms.

Abigail asked, "Really? You're not lying?"

"Really, I like them a lot, and I like you too." With that, Gregory immediately lowered his head and kissed Abigail on the lips.

Abigail smiled helplessly and pulled him over. "Hurry up and try them on in the dressing room. The wedding is in a few days. If there's anything that doesn't fit, I can fix it right away."

Slipping into the perfectly tailored dark gray suit, Gregory admired the gem-adorned buttons and cufflinks, which exuded a low-key yet luxurious elegance and mystery. Moving gracefully, he radiated sophistication.

Emerging from the dressing room, Gregory saw Abigail, assisted by the maids, in her wedding dress. The strapless, fitted gown highlighted her stunning figure, and its floor-length skirt, adorned with tiny diamonds, sparkled under the crystal chandelier.

Even without makeup, she was still radiant, especially with her bright eyes shining with a breathtaking brilliance.

A look of amazement flashed in Gregory's eyes as he unconsciously walked towards Abigail.

Abigail looked up at him, nodding in satisfaction. "Very handsome and well-fitted. It seems I know Mr. White's figure quite well."

Gregory's gaze fell on her moving lips, his Adam's apple bobbing. As Abigail continued to chatter, he couldn't help but take two steps forward and pull her into his arms.

Abigail was slightly stunned, her hands pressed against his chest, and she asked with a smile, "What are you doing?"

Gregory gently rubbed her lips with his thumb, leaned down, and in a magnetic, low voice, said, "Kissing you."

Embarrassed by the presence of the maids, Abigail blushed and pushed him away. "Stop it, we're doing something important. Quickly help me check if the wedding dress needs any adjustments."

Gregory shook his head. "No need, it's perfect. It will definitely amaze everyone."

His wife, even in a burlap sack, would be the most beautiful.
