Chapter 198 Lesson
Abigail strolled into the private room, grabbed a seat in front of a bunch of big shots, and casually poured herself a glass of wine.
The bosses exchanged puzzled looks, not sure what to make of it.
"Hey, everyone, take a seat. Technically, I'm the youngest here. If I'm sitting while you're all standing, it just feels off." Abigail's lips curled into a slight smile as she held the wine glass with her slender fingers, gently swirling it. Her casual yet elegant movements made it hard for anyone to look away.
The men present immediately had a glint of greed in their eyes.
'Mr. White really knows how to enjoy life. Such a top-tier beauty is extremely rare. I just wonder how her skills in bed are.' Everyone began to calculate silently in their minds.
Before coming, they had specifically inquired and found out that DM had not yet confirmed a new supplier.
The reason Abigail came to meet them must be to ask them to continue cooperating with DM.
They didn't care who they cooperated with, but there had to be some price to pay.
Susan stood behind Abigail, noticing the increasingly lewd looks from the bosses, and couldn't help but frown.
But she didn't act rashly because she knew that Abigail was never an impulsive person.
After the bosses sat down, they immediately plastered on smiles. "Abigail, we heard you're looking for new partners recently. Why go through all that trouble? We've been working together for over ten years. We can help you out."
Abigail raised an eyebrow slightly. "You are indeed generous. I was just thinking about the supply prices."
One of them, seeing Abigail's attitude, became even more confident.
He thought, 'She's just a young girl. Even with Gregory's support, how formidable could she be?'
The man laughed and slowly approached Abigail, trying to wrap his arm around her waist. "Abigail, money can be negotiated. As long as you satisfy us, we can discuss anything...!"
Before he could finish his sentence, his outstretched hand was suddenly grabbed forcefully and twisted behind his back.
Abigail's eyes were sharp as she grabbed the man's arm with one hand and pinched the back of his neck with the other, slamming him onto the dining table.
The tableware and wine glasses were accidentally knocked to the ground, shattering with a crisp sound, accompanied by the man's shrill screams. "Abigail, you bitch, let me go! How dare you treat me like this? Are you trying to cut off DM's supply? Bitch, let me go! Why aren't you guys helping me?"
Abigail's movements were too swift for the others to react. By the time they shook off their reverie and returned to their senses, their faces had changed.
"Abigail, what are you trying to do? Let Mr. Knight go, or I'll call the police!"
Abigail's delicate and beautiful eyebrows arched slightly, and her moist almond eyes carried a hint of a smile. "Call the police? Sure, I'd like to see which is a bigger crime: brawling or drug use."
At these words, the bosses' faces turned pale.
'How does Abigail know?' they thought.
Every time they gathered, it was at the most secretive club!
'Abigail is a lunatic!' they thought.
At this moment, the men looked at Abigail with no trace of lust or desire, only fear and dread.
If the police were really called and Abigail reported them, they would be finished.
After a moment, they exchanged glances and said to Abigail, "Mrs. White, calm down. We were just joking around. It's not fun if you take it so seriously. After all, we're partners and will be making money together in the future!"
Abigail sneered. "Who wants to make money with you? Haven't you heard? Just this morning, DM signed a contract with a new supplier."
The men were stunned and immediately realized they had been played! "Abigail, what do you mean by this? If you had no intention of signing, why agree to have dinner with us?"
This accusation was unfair to Abigail. She never intended to deceive anyone.
She agreed to the meeting out of respect for their decade-long cooperation with DM and to maintain her image in the same social circle.
Who knew that as soon as she arrived, she would hear them speaking ill of her behind her back?
Abigail curved her lips and picked up the glass of wine again, gently swirling it. "I originally hoped to establish a good relationship with you, but as soon as I came in, I heard you discussing how good I am in bed?"
The bosses' faces turned red.
Most girls would blush just hearing such explicit talk. But she said it without changing her expression, utterly shameless!
However, the next second, Abigail forcefully smashed the wine glass against the table corner, shattering the glass.
The rim of the glass became jagged, reflecting a cold light under the lamp.
Abigail slowly moved the jagged edge downward, finally stopping between the man's legs. "If you didn't have this thing, I wonder how effective Mr. Knight's proud bedroom skills would be."
The men held their breath, instinctively clamping their legs together, and a layer of cold sweat unknowingly formed on their backs.
Susan was also stunned, her eyes widening in disbelief.
The Abigail she knew was always efficient in action but had a gentle personality. She never imagined that Abigail had such an unknown side. This completely overturned her perception.
The man, who was being controlled by Abigail, was also terrified, shaking his head while crying, "Ms. Martin, I was wrong, Ms. Martin. I'll never dare to speak ill of you behind your back again. Please spare me."
Before Abigail could speak, she suddenly smelled an unpleasant odor.
Liquid dripped from his pants, quickly forming a puddle on the smooth floor.
Abigail covered her nose in disgust and instinctively took two steps back, but she didn't intend to let him off easily.
"Mr. Knight, you're too timid. It's just a wine glass, and you're scared like this. How dare you think about Gregory's woman?"
Abigail's voice was soft and sweet, with a slight upward lilt that carried an indescribable allure, but the words she spoke made people grit their teeth in anger.
The man, clutching his dislocated arm, quickly retreated a few steps, hiding behind the other men as if afraid Abigail would come at him again.
"Ms. Martin, I was just joking. I know I was wrong now. I'll never dare again!"
Abigail sneered, her eyes full of mockery. "Consider today a lesson. From now on, DM will no longer cooperate with any of your companies. You're on your own."
She knew very well that these people looked down on her because she was young and a woman, thinking DM would fail under her leadership.
She would prove to them that one day, DM would be out of their reach.
