Chapter 502 Get out!
Grace saw everyone surrounding the children, and she could only watch from the outside, feeling extremely anxious. "Have you all seen enough? Let me see my dear grandson and granddaughter."
Having looked forward to meeting these two children for a long time, she finally saw them for the first time as everyone made way for her.
Grace was overjoyed, liking them more and more the longer she looked. "Oh my, how come they are so good-looking and well-behaved, not crying or fussing. Have you named them yet? What's the boy's name?"
Since Gregory liked daughters, the daughter's name had been decided long ago, Lila White.
But the son's name had not been decided yet.
Abigail glared at Gregory. "You tell them."
Gregory cleared his throat and said truthfully, "I did think of one, you all can help me decide, Kyle White."
Grace nodded. "Not bad, let's go with that. Our Kyle and Lila will be the new members of our family from now on."
After spending most of the day at the hospital, everyone started to leave.
Abigail lay on the bed, drowsy and ready to take a nap, when she heard soft sounds coming from the crib beside her.
Michelle, who had been taking care of Abigail in the ward, quickly came forward and said to Abigail, "The babies might be hungry, why don't you feed them first?"
Abigail nodded and, with Gregory's help, sat up from the bed.
She held the two little ones in her arms and was about to lift her shirt when she suddenly paused and looked at Gregory, who was still there. "You go out."
Gregory raised an eyebrow slightly. "There's nothing on you I haven't seen, do you really need to guard against me like this?"
Abigail's cheeks turned slightly red. "It's not about guarding, just go out for now."
With him there, she felt completely uncomfortable.
Gregory originally wanted to tease her a bit more, but considering Michelle was present, he swallowed his words and reluctantly turned to leave.
As the door closed, Abigail quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
The blush on her face hadn't faded when she met Michelle's teasing gaze. "You two have been married for almost two years, how come you're still acting like you're in the honeymoon phase, so clingy?"
Abigail's cheeks turned even redder. "Mom, stop teasing me. Speaking of which, we've been married for less than two years, but you and Dad have been together much longer, and you're still in the honeymoon phase, aren't you?"
That's true.
Thinking of Caius, Michelle's eyes curved with a smile. "Alright, alright, quickly feed Kyle and Lila. They've grown a bit now, and in a couple of days, those wrinkles on their faces should be gone."
Abigail looked down at the two little ones and couldn't help but smile. "Yes, they do look better than when they were just born. I wonder what they'll look like in a few days."
The two little ones seemed to know Abigail was talking about them, and as if they had a telepathic connection, they suddenly opened their eyes and looked at Abigail.
Abigail smiled and teased them. "What are you looking at? Did you hear Mommy talking?"
The two little ones responded with coos and then focused on nursing, soon falling asleep.
Gregory went out to buy food, and when he returned to the ward, he saw the two little ones already sound asleep.
They looked very peaceful, with rosy cheeks, making them especially endearing.
Squatting by the crib, Gregory smiled, pinched Lila's cheek, and leaned down to kiss her forehead. How could his precious daughter be so well-behaved? Even while sleeping, she was adorable.
Meanwhile, Kyle was completely ignored.
Seeing this, Abigail couldn't help but find it amusing and scolded with a laugh, "You're so childish."
Gregory retorted, "How am I childish? Daughters are naturally more endearing than sons. What's wrong with me liking our Lila?"
Abigail nodded in agreement. "You're right, our Lila is indeed very cute, but Kyle is not bad either. He'll definitely be popular with the girls when he grows up."
Hearing this, Gregory suddenly found Lila less cute and stared deeply at Abigail. "Mrs. White, do you like Kyle or me more?"
Abigail didn't expect Gregory to ask this and paused for a moment before laughing helplessly. "Gregory, you're being a bit too jealous, aren't you? He's your own son!"
Gregory snorted and glanced at Kyle disdainfully. "I don't care, Kyle can't compare to me."
Abigail sighed. "You really are something."
She had never seen a man more prone to jealousy than Gregory.
However, these were just words. In terms of material things, Gregory would never show favoritism.
Abigail said, "Alright, alright, I like you the most, okay?"
Gregory was finally satisfied, a faint smile appearing on his lips. He leaned over to hug Abigail and gave her a heavy kiss. "Okay."
After kissing her, he glanced triumphantly at the two sleeping babies. No matter how cute they were, they could never replace his place in Abigail's heart.
Abigail pushed him away, finding it funny. "Didn't you buy dinner? Take it out quickly, I'm starving."
Hearing this, Gregory quickly opened the packed food and set up a small table on Abigail's bed, arranging everything neatly. "This is a special meal I ordered from the restaurant, light in flavor and nutritious, perfect for you right now. Try it."
Under Gregory's expectant gaze, Abigail picked up the utensils and took a bite.
After savoring it, she nodded lightly. "Yes, it tastes good."
"There's also soup, nourishing but not greasy. Try it." Gregory scooped a spoonful, blew on it, and then brought it to Abigail's lips.
