Chapter 232 Crybaby

Hearing Abigail's sudden confession, Gregory's heart just melted. He reached out, ruffled her fluffy hair, and planted a gentle kiss on the top of her head.

"I know," Gregory said.

With Abigail's confession, Gregory felt like this trip was totally worth it. Canceling that big business meeting just to be here for Abigail? No regrets.

After a bit, Abigail finally let go of Gregory and lifted her face from his chest. Her almond-shaped eyes were still misty from crying, giving her a dreamy look.

Gregory brushed the red corners of her eyes with his thumb, a smile tugging at his lips. "You're such a crybaby. You cry when you're sad, and you cry when you're happy."

Abigail sniffled, looking at him with those watery eyes. "I can't help it."

With Gregory's support, all the emotions and sweetness surged like a tidal wave, ready to burst out. Such intense feelings were almost too much for Abigail to handle.

Gregory took Abigail's hand, his deep voice soft. "Let's go, I'll take you to eat."

Abigail glanced at their clasped hands, a smile spreading across her face. "Okay, I want to eat crawfish," she said.

"Sure."

"But I don't want to peel them."

"I'll peel them for you," Gregory said.

Abigail's smile widened, and she quickened her pace, planting a kiss on Gregory's cheek. The soft, warm touch made Gregory pause for a moment, looking down at Abigail.

Abigail pursed her lips, her moist eyes blinking with a hint of mischief. "Let's go," she said.

Gregory's gaze lingered on her soft, tender lips. Her bright red lips were like rose petals, exuding an enticing sheen. Each movement, each word she uttered, seemed to silently lure him closer, drawing him into an unspoken invitation.

His eyes darkened a bit, but he kept his cool as they walked downstairs.

Once Abigail was seated in the car and had fastened her seatbelt, Gregory suddenly leaned over, lifting her chin to make her look at him. "Abigail, teasing me comes with a price."

Abigail opened her lips, about to say something, but Gregory's lips pressed down, silencing her. All the words she hadn't had a chance to say were swallowed by Gregory's forceful and passionate kiss.

He dominantly pried open her lips, delving deeper, entangling her sweet tongue, invading her territory without restraint, occupying every corner.

After a long while, Abigail began to feel breathless and pushed against Gregory's chest. Gregory released her lips but kept his arm tightly around her slender waist. Through the thin fabric, a continuous warmth spread, making Abigail shift uncomfortably, trying to break free, but Gregory gave her no chance.

"Feeling shy?" Gregory's voice was even huskier, dripping with a teasing edge.

Abigail's cheeks flushed, her almond eyes shimmering with a misty, almost tearful light, she said pitifully, "Don't bully me."

Gregory chuckled softly, raising his hand to ruffle her hair. "How could I? How could I bear to bully you?"

'I love you too much to even think about it,' Gregory thought.

Hearing his unabashed sweet talk, Abigail's cheeks reddened again.

Gregory closed the car door, walked around to the other side, got into the driver's seat, and started the car toward the restaurant.

A few minutes later, the car arrived at their destination. Gregory parked and turned to Abigail. "You must be starving. I had Leo make a reservation, so we can eat right away."

"Really?" Abigail's eyes lit up, and she quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and hopped out of the car.

Watching her cheerful figure, Gregory chuckled and shook his head. She was so easily satisfied, forgetting all her previous unhappiness over a meal of crawfish. But that was good; at least he didn't have to worry about those people affecting Abigail's mood.

Gregory led Abigail into a private room, and the waiter immediately brought in all the dishes. Not only was there crawfish, but also many of Abigail's favorite foods. Grilled steak, spaghetti, and crema catalana.

Abigail's eyes sparkled as she looked at the table full of delicious food, almost drooling.

She looked so cute that Gregory couldn't help but glance at her a few more times, his lips curling slightly. "Alright, let's eat," he said.

Hearing this, Abigail quickly picked up her utensils and started eating. Gregory, on the other hand, put on disposable gloves and focused on peeling the crawfish.

His hands were long and slender, looking even more delicate and beautiful against the bright red crawfish. With meticulous care and precision, he pried open each shell, his movements deliberate and graceful. Even in this simple task, Gregory managed to exude an air of elegance; there was nothing rough or hurried about him. Abigail, who had been eating seriously, was unknowingly drawn to his actions.

Before long, the plate in front of him was piled high with crawfish meat. Noticing Abigail's gaze, Gregory slowly looked up. He placed the plate in front of Abigail, his deep eyes filled with a gentle smile. "Eat up."

Abigail didn't need to be told twice. She eagerly picked up a piece and tasted it, her eyes lighting up as the spicy, salty flavor exploded on her palate. She couldn't help but give Gregory a thumbs up, her feet swinging in delight beneath the table. "Delicious."

She then picked up a piece and brought it to Gregory's lips, smiling as she said, "Mr. White, you should try it too. It's really good."

Gregory wasn't particularly fond of seafood, but looking into her starry eyes, he couldn't bring himself to refuse. Seeing him eat it, Abigail's mood improved even more, and she fed him another piece.

Gregory had always been the one feeding Abigail, so this was his first time experiencing being fed by someone.

After lunch, Gregory gently wiped the oil from Abigail's lips, his actions extremely tender. "Let's go. I'll take you back to the office," he said.

"Okay." Abigail obediently stood up and followed behind Gregory, sneakily sliding her hand into his palm. Gregory's gaze lingered on their tightly clasped hands for a moment, his lips curling up involuntarily.

Just then, a teasing voice came from not far away. "I thought you'd be really bothered by that video. Looks like I underestimated you."
