Chapter 34 The Handsome School Doctor

The heat on Abigail's face dissipated after a long time, and then she slowly got up from the bed.

At this moment, the pleasant sound of a cell phone ringing came.

"Abigail, help me!"

Tricia's anxious voice came from the phone receiver, accompanied by her painful intake of breath.

Abigail furrowed her brows slightly and said, "Tricia, calm down; what happened?"

Tricia sighed and said, "You know, today is the school's anniversary rehearsal. I accidentally sprained my foot, and now I can't perform the dance routine I had prepared!"

Abigail furrowed her brows even deeper and said, "Where are you now? I'll come find you right away!"

Tricia hurriedly said, "I'm in the school infirmary, but don't worry, I'm not seriously injured, but the doctor said I can't engage in strenuous activities."

Abigail thought for a moment and said, "Tricia, stay in the infirmary and don't move. I'll come over right now."

After hanging up the phone, she hurriedly went downstairs.

When Ralph saw her coming down, he immediately approached and said, "Mrs. White, breakfast is ready. Are you going out?"

Abigail waved her hand and said, "Ralph, I won't have breakfast. Please arrange a car for me. My friend got injured, and I need to go to school."

Upon hearing this, Ralph immediately became serious and said, "Okay, I'll arrange it right away."

About half an hour later, a driver dropped Abigail off at Aramore University.

As soon as Abigail got out of the car, she headed straight to the school infirmary.

In the infirmary, Tricia sat on a somewhat simple single bed with thick bandages wrapped around her foot, groaning in pain.

The young and handsome school doctor smiled helplessly when he saw the situation. "You just sprained your ankle. Your injury isn't that serious, so there's no need to be so nervous."

Tricia lifted her eyelids to look at him and pouted in grievance, "Really? Then why am I in so much pain?"

Why has Abigail yet to come? She desperately needs a warm embrace right now!

The school doctor opened a drawer and took out a piece of candy, handing it to Tricia, "Have a candy, calm down."

Tricia stared blankly, her eyes fixed on the hand in front of her without blinking.

That hand was beautiful, with distinct knuckles and clearly visible blood vessels, almost like a priceless work of art.

Tricia kept staring at the hand, momentarily forgetting to react.

Even in the short half a minute, numerous inappropriate images flashed through her mind...

The school doctor unwrapped the candy wrapper, a smile in his eyes. "Like a child, do you want me to feed it to you?"

He gently peeled off the candy wrapper and handed the candy to her lips.

Tricia, as if uncontrollable, opened her mouth and ate the candy.

It wasn't until the sweet taste of peach spread between her lips and teeth that she suddenly came to her senses, her face turning red.

She actually ate candy given to her by a stranger without any control!

Ah, ah, ah, she was tempted by beauty!

The school doctor calmly withdrew his hand and sat back at his desk, going about his daily work.

The school clinic was unusually quiet, and the two of them tacitly avoided mentioning the awkwardness just now.

Just as Tricia was hesitating whether to leave or not, Abigail hurriedly came over.

Abigail carefully looked her up and down, finally focusing on her bandaged foot. "What happened? How did you suddenly sprain your foot?"

Looking at her nervous look, Tricia was somewhat moved.

She explained, "When I went downstairs this morning, someone accidentally bumped into me, and I fell down the stairs."

"But you only sprained your foot. Why is it bleeding?"

Hearing this question, Tricia angrily said, "Originally, I wouldn't bleed, at most just scrape some skin, but coincidentally, this morning, someone broke a glass, and the glass shards weren't cleaned up..."

She was really unlucky. She came to school early for the rehearsal, hoping to finish early and go to work part-time, but she injured her leg!

Abigail frowned and asked, "Are you sure it was really an accident? How could such a coincidence happen?"

"I also thought someone was intentionally harming me at first, but I checked the surveillance footage in the control room and didn't find anything suspicious, so I can only blame my bad luck!"

Looking at her injured leg, Tricia sighed heavily.

Abigail carefully examined her wound and worriedly said, "The school's anniversary is in a few days. You won't be able to perform on stage like this."

"Yeah, I'm so badly injured that it's difficult for me even to walk, let alone dance." Tricia sighed helplessly. "But I contacted the teacher in charge of the anniversary program, and he said the program list has already been finalized and can't be changed."

Her teacher was also very anxious. With only a few days left until the anniversary, she couldn't find a suitable replacement.

Abigail pondered for a moment and said, "You should contact the teacher first and ask her to find a suitable replacement. If she really can't find one, I'll perform on stage for you."

Tricia was moved to the point of almost crying and hugged Abigail tightly. "Abigail, you're so good to me! I will definitely repay you in the future, no matter what."

Abigail helplessly pinched her face, saying, "If you really want to repay me, then quickly heal your foot injury."

Tricia grinned and said, "I promise to complete the task!"

Before they left, Abigail asked the school doctor about the precautions for foot injuries.

After leaving the school doctor's office, she looked at the bright sun outside and said, "Let me take you home first. The doctor said you need to rest now."

After she finished speaking, there was no response for a long time.

Abigail turned her head and saw Tricia holding her face, smiling, seemingly lost in thought.

She waved a hand in front of Tricia's eyes and asked, "What's wrong with you? Why is your face turning red?"

Tricia's face flushed, and she quickly denied it. "No! You're mistaken!"

Abigail raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh? Really?"

Why didn't she believe her?

Suddenly, she noticed Tricia holding a piece of candy paper in her hand and curiously asked, "What is this? Where did it come from?"

Tricia quickly hid her hand behind her back and stammered, "No, nothing, I don't have anything."

"Tricia, tell me... Are you thinking about that man from the school doctor's office just now?"

Upon hearing her words, Tricia's cheeks grew even redder.

She didn't speak, but her expression gave her away.

Abigail understood, and the corner of her lips curled up slightly. "It seems like you're in luck. Did you manage to get his contact information?"

Tricia glared at her and unhappily said, "I was about to ask for his contact information, but then you showed up, and I forgot everything in my excitement!"

Abigail touched her cheek and couldn't help but sigh, "So, I'm that important to you in your heart?"
