Chapter 454 From the Bathtub to the Sofa
Gregory chuckled, scooped up Abigail, and strode towards the car. Startled, Abigail yelped as she was lifted off the ground.
She clung tightly to Gregory's neck and glared at him. "Put me down, I can walk by myself."
Seeing her struggle, Gregory held her even tighter. "Don't move. If I drop you, don't blame me."
Abigail buried her face in his shoulder and gave up struggling.
Once they were in the car, Abigail looked at his face with concern and asked, "What happened? Did you get into another fight?"
Gregory touched his face; the injury wasn't serious but it was noticeable.
He raised an eyebrow at Abigail. "Yeah, I won."
There was a hint of pride in his voice.
Abigail couldn't help but laugh softly. She rummaged through a portable toolbox and took out some medicine and cotton swabs. "Seriously, how old are you? Why are you still getting into fights like a kid?"
Gregory snorted, hinting. "Tom deserved it. I've been too nice to him, that's why he got so cocky."
Gregory thought, 'He wants the White Group? What a joke.'
Abigail unceremoniously grabbed his tie and pulled him closer, gently applying the ointment.
The first touch was too hard, and Gregory winced in pain. "Be gentle."
Abigail glared at him, unable to hide her disdain. "You brought so many bodyguards, why did you have to get involved yourself and end up like this?"
Despite her words, her actions became much gentler.
Seeing the concern in Abigail's eyes, Gregory felt a warmth in his heart. He swiftly grabbed her waist and pulled her onto his lap.
Abigail let out a startled cry, almost dropping the ointment. "Don't move. Do you have any other injuries? Take off your clothes and let me see."
Gregory buried his face in Abigail's neck, nuzzling gently. "I'm fine. Just hold me and kiss me; it's better than any medicine."
Abigail's cheeks flushed, and she pushed him away. "What nonsense are you talking about?"
Gregory laughed softly, caught her hand, and kissed it. "Am I talking nonsense? Why don't you try it?"
As he finished speaking, he leaned in and kissed her deeply.
"You..." Abigail tried to say something, but her lips were sealed.
Gregory's hot breath mingled with hers, his unique masculine scent overwhelming her senses.
Abigail's long, thick eyelashes fluttered, and she eventually gave up struggling, slowly closing her eyes.
The kiss lasted a long time, not as forceful and domineering as before, but filled with a gentle tenderness that made one want to sink into it.
When the kiss ended, both of their breaths were a bit erratic.
Abigail slowly opened her moist, expressive eyes, which sparkled with a dreamy, captivating allure.
Gregory looked at her quietly, his lips curling into a smile. "Darling, you're so beautiful."
Abigail blinked, the blush on her cheeks spreading to the back of her ears.
She avoided his intense gaze, trying to stay calm. "Don't think you can get away with this. When we get back, you have to write a promise not to fight anymore."
Little did she know, this side of her made her even more irresistible to Gregory.
Gregory's eyes flickered, and he leaned in to kiss her flushed earlobe. "Alright, no more fighting."
After the competition ended, Abigail and Gregory didn't rush back but decided to stay a few more days.
The employees had to return to work, but they gained a lot. Even those who didn't win prizes enjoyed a company-paid vacation, dining at high-end restaurants courtesy of Gregory. It was definitely worth the trip.
After the others left, Abigail and Gregory explored the nearby town and visited Sylvanor's most famous amusement park, taking many photos.
After several days, Abigail had lost some weight but looked much more spirited.
That night, Abigail lay in bed, not wanting to move. But soon, Gregory scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom.
Abigail remembered something and immediately became wary. "Gregory, not tonight!"
Last night, in this very bathroom, from the bathtub to the sofa, even the balcony wasn't spared. Finally, in bed, Gregory had made love to her without restraint.
Her waist and legs were still sore and weak from the ordeal.
Thinking of last night's madness, Abigail's face turned red, and her legs couldn't help but feel weak.
