Chapter 252 Delicate

Abigail's voice was soft and sweet, exuding an indescribable sweetness.

When Gregory heard this, he felt his heart melt instantly.

'Abigail, how can you be so cute and lovable?'

He lowered his head and gently kissed Abigail's forehead, his long, deep eyes filled with love.

After holding her for a while, Abigail started to become restless, moving around in Gregory's arms.

It felt like there was a fire burning inside her, as if it was going to consume her whole.

Abigail frowned slightly and instinctively reached to tug at her collar.

The top button of her white shirt was quickly undone, revealing a patch of delicate skin.

Abigail murmured, "So hot."

Seeing the exposed skin, Gregory's eyelids twitched, and he quickly grabbed Abigail's hand to stop her next move.

He helplessly rubbed his forehead, rearranged her shirt, and coaxed softly, "Be good, we're almost home. Just hold on a little longer, okay?"

But Abigail was feeling so uncomfortable that she couldn't hear his words.

She twisted her body uncomfortably, trying to break free from Gregory's embrace.

Usually, she loved to snuggle into Gregory's arms, craving the warmth.

But now, she just wanted to get far away.

Gregory held Abigail's slender waist tightly and sighed helplessly, continuing to coax her, "Abigail, be good, okay?"

"Mr. White, I feel so awful," Abigail said.

Looking at Abigail's flushed face, Gregory asked softly, "Will you drink again next time?"

Abigail quickly shook her head. "No more!"

Gregory nodded in satisfaction, took a bottle of water from the side, and handed it to her. "Have some water to soothe your throat."

"You feed me!" Abigail's eyes curved into a smile, her soft voice carrying a hint of coquettishness.

A faint smile appeared in Gregory's usually cold eyes, and he muttered, "So spoiled."

But his actions were sincere as he unscrewed the cap and brought the bottle to Abigail's lips.

Ten minutes later, the car drove into Maple Residence.

Gregory picked up the already tipsy Abigail and walked toward Maple Residence.

After taking a few steps, he suddenly remembered something and turned to Leo. "Did you find out that it was Jessica who arranged for someone to tamper with Mrs. White's drawing supplies?"

Leo nodded, "Yes, Jessica bribed someone in the logistics department to switch Abigail's supplies with substandard ones."

A flash of coldness appeared in Gregory's eyes, and his deep voice carried a hint of sinister chill. "It seems the previous lessons weren't enough. Arrange for me to meet Jessica personally."

Leo was stunned, not expecting such a strong reaction from Gregory this time.

But on second thought, it would be strange if Gregory didn't care about Abigail!

He quickly agreed and left Maple Residence.

It seemed someone was about to suffer again!

Jessica insisting on going against Abigail was just asking for trouble!

Gregory carried Abigail into Maple Residence, and as soon as they entered, Ralph came out, looking worried. "What's wrong with Mrs. White? How did she end up drinking so much?"

Gregory glanced at Abigail in his arms, a hint of helplessness in his eyes. "She knows she can't handle alcohol, but she insisted on drinking to discuss business."

Ralph felt even more distressed after hearing this.

He glared at Gregory angrily, complaining, "Mrs. White is young and naive. Why didn't you stop her? How much did she drink? Look at how red her face is."

Ralph's nagging was filled with concern and worry for Abigail.

If anyone else had spoken to Gregory like this, he would have been furious, but now he remained silent.

After Ralph had said enough, Gregory finally spoke slowly, "Abigail is asleep. I'll take her upstairs first."

Realizing what he had just done, Ralph felt a wave of fear.

He quickly stepped aside, giving Gregory a clear path.

As Gregory went upstairs, Ralph regretfully slapped his forehead and thought, 'How can I have dared to speak to Gregory like that? Am I out of his mind? Where did I get the courage? Gregory wouldn't be considering firing me, would he?'

Gregory had no idea what Ralph was thinking. He gently placed Abigail on the soft bed, carefully covered her with a blanket, and then left.

Half an hour later, Gregory appeared in the private club of the clubhouse with a cold expression.

Leo respectfully greeted, "Mr. White, Jessica is here."

Gregory glanced at Jessica, who was being held down by two bodyguards and struggling desperately, and a cold smile slowly appeared on his lips.

"Ms. Martin, long time no see," said Gregory.

Upon seeing Gregory, Jessica was first stunned, then excitedly screamed, "Gregory? Come save me! They're all bullying me."

Jessica raised her head, her beautiful eyes quickly filling with tears.

Her eyes were enchanting, her voice charming and coquettish.

This appearance easily aroused a man's protective instincts, provided he ignored her currently disheveled hair.

Gregory just glanced at her indifferently and quickly looked away.

He walked over to Jessica, looking down at her from above. "Save you? Why should I save you?"

Jessica was gazing at Gregory affectionately. In the past, whenever she showed this look, men would always soften.

No matter what she wanted to do, those men would help her.

She believed that no man could resist beauty.

The reason Gregory hadn't shown any interest before was probably because Abigail was around.

Now that Abigail wasn't here, she didn't believe Gregory wouldn't be tempted!

Just as she was fantasizing about a beautiful future, Gregory's words shattered all her illusions.

Jessica's expression froze, her eyes filled with disbelief. "What?"

Gregory didn't speak, just stared at her quietly.

The cold and sharp aura he exuded was suffocating, and Jessica quickly couldn't bear it, looking away first. "Gregory, what do you want?"

Gregory lazily leaned back on the sofa, his long fingers tapping lightly on the back of the sofa, and he signaled to Leo.

Leo stepped forward and handed a stack of documents to Jessica.

Upon seeing the contents, Jessica's pupils contracted sharply. "No, Gregory, let me explain!" she shouted.

Gregory said, "I thought you learned your lesson last time, but it seems you're still targeting Abigail."
